Native and Indigenous students in low SES urban, rural, and reservation areas have the lowest retention-to-graduation rate and college completion rate of any demographic in the United States. The primary contributing factor is lack of culturally relevant curricula in a culturally sustaining pedagogy to present their culture in a positive representation. The second contributing factor is a lack of access to computer and internet resources to foster and bolster online, remote, and distance learning.

While international student mobility has received much examination, intranational student mobility is a lesser-studied area. Data shows that residents of the four Easternmost Canadian provinces are more likely to travel outside of their home province to undertake university studies than other Canadians. Beginning in the mid-1990s, Memorial University of Newfoundland experienced a near ten-fold increase in the enrolment of students from the three nearby Maritime provinces. Previous study of this enrolment trend indicated that the increase was partially driven by Memorial’s lower tuition fees. Guided by the conceptual lenses of student choice frameworks, tuition price sensitivity analyses, and student migration studies, this study was carried out to examine the persistence and graduation rates of the 2010 Maritime student cohort, where they resided following their university studies, and factors influencing their decisions to stay or leave Newfoundland and Labrador. This research primarily relied on university administrative records and participant survey responses. The results showed that almost 40% of the 2010 Maritime student cohort had dropped out two years after their initial enrolment at Memorial and by the sixth year, their graduation rate (45%) was far below the overall graduation rate for Canadian students in undergraduate degree programs (74%). In addition, almost 78% of those who were successfully surveyed in autumn 2020 were no longer residing in Newfoundland and Labrador. While there are limitations to the interpretation of the results, they raise important questions about tuition fee polices and their connection (or not) to population growth.

Currently, the NCAA does not track the academic outcomes of student-athlete special admits. The purpose of this exploratory study was to gain an understanding of educational outcomes for Division I specially admitted student-athletes. Findings showed the special admit population had the same six-year graduation rate as the overall FCS student body cohort (55%). Only a small percentage (4.5%) of special admits were dismissed for academic reasons. Further study is suggested regarding the demographics and incoming academic characteristics of this population in order to pave the way for academic best practices for this severely understudied group of students within higher education.

The quality of education is very important for success in learning, by using various methods or tools to make it easier for students to understand discrete mathematics material, based on the 23% graduation rate of students who do not complete discrete mathematics at XYZ University, it is necessary to innovate learning applications, use The game education application provides convenience in developing learning media, namely the Digital Math Game, an Android-based mobile application that makes it easy for students to learn discrete mathematics. This application is equipped with several features, namely games to hone the extent to which students' ability to do discrete math exercises randomly, with the reward in the game, the questions are designed to be more difficult and graded, Fuzzy Sugeno algorithm calculates logic to determine rewards based on time variables and problem solving. This application has an AR (Augmented Reality) feature to provide 3D views and videos on discrete mathematics textbooks, 30 algorithm testing with 100% accuracy.

This study is about fish anesthesia using natural anesthetic ingredients. Natural anesthetic ingredients aim to reduce metabolism in Epinephelus sp. grouper fish. The immobilization method can be used to minimize high metabolism in Epinephelus sp. grouper fish. The purpose of this study was to obtain the influence of Datura metel L. seed extract on the onset time, recovery time, and live graduation of grouper fish Epinephelus sp. The results of the study, using extracts of natural anesthetic ingredients Datura metel L.seed with concentrations of 25%, 30%, and 35% can be concluded that it has a different influence (P<0.05) on the onset and recovered grouper fish. This study gave a life graduation rate of 100% in each concentration. The best concentration in this study was 35% concentration, with the fastest onset time of 3 minutes with a recovery time of 10.67 minutes. This study used a non-Factorial Complete Randomized Design

The study investigated the effect of cognitive crafting on the graduation rate of students in Federal Universities, South East, Nigeria. The study is anchored on Elgar’s Performance Theory of organizations. The survey research method was adopted for the study, making use of structured questionnaire as instruments for data collection. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources. Hypotheses were tested using the simple linear regression. The study found that cognitive crafting had significant positive effect on the graduation rate of students in Federal Universities, South East, Nigeria (r 0.803; P < 0.05). It was therefore, concluded that cognitive capabilities which promote students’ graduation rate enhances the overall performance of Universities in South East, Nigeria. The study recommended that Universities should be properly funded to encourage the employment and retention of professionals with cognitive capabilities that would enhance students’ graduation rate and overall performance of the Universities.
