AbstractIn this paper, we represent a resolution for the hierarchy problem where the inverse size of the extra dimension and the fundamental Planck scale would all be of the order of the TeV scale by proposing a fiber fabric of spacetime. The origin of the large hierarchy is essentially due to the $$\cosh $$ cosh function which is physically originated from the dynamics of the horizontal metric in the vacuum of non-zero energy. In addition, the fiber fabric of spacetime allows us to resolve elegantly and naturally the problems of the chirality fermions and stabilizing potential for the size of the extra dimension, which are usually encountered in the higher dimensional theories. Then, we explore the inflation with the modulus of the extra dimension identified as the inflaton where our slow-roll inflationary model belongs to the E-model class with $$n=1$$ n = 1 . We calculate the main inflationary observables which are consistent with the present experiments. Finally, we study how the geodesic motion of neutral test particles gets modified from the extension of spacetime. We compute the radius of the photon sphere, the innermost stable circular orbit, the perihelion shift, the light bending angle, and the observables of the strong gravitational lensing and the retrolensing phenomenon. By comparing the predicted values with the experimental observations, we determine the constraints on the fiber fabric of spacetime.

We study in this paper the trends of the evolution of different infections using a SIR flow (first-order ODE system), completed by a differential inclusion, a geodesic motion in a gyroscopic field of forces, and a stochastic SIR perturbation of the flow (Itô ODE system). We are interested in mathematical analysis, bringing new results on studied evolutionary models: infection flow together with a differential inclusion, bounds of evolution, dual description of disease evolution, log-optimal and rapid path, epidemic wind (geometric dynamics), stochastic equations of evolution, and stochastic connectivity. We hope that the paper will be a guideline for strategizing optimal sociopolitical countermeasures to mitigate infectious diseases.

Abstract The recent proposal [1, 2] of implementing electric-magnetic duality rotation at the level of perturbative scattering amplitudes and its generalisation to gravitational context where usual gravitational mass is rotated to the NUT parameter of the Taub-NUT spacetime opens up an interesting avenue for studying NUT-charged objects as dynamical entities, in contrast to the usual approach where NUT-charged objects are considered as a static background. We extend the tree-order analysis to one-loop order, and find a disagreement between geodesic motion on Taub-NUT background and impulse computation of scattering amplitudes. As a by-product of our analysis, we find a relation between tidal response parameters and resonance excitation parameters in the language of quantum field theory scattering amplitudes.

A new redshift formula is obtained considering the longitudinal Doppler effect in the de Sitter expanding universe where the relative geodesic motion is governed by the Lorentzian isometries of our new de Sitter relativity [I. I. Cotăescu, Eur. Phys. J. C 77, 485 (2017)]. This formula combines in a nontrivial manner the well-known cosmological contribution given by Lamaître’s law with that of the relative motion of the source with respect to a fixed observer as in de Sitter relativity instead of special relativity. Other related quantities as the dispersion relation, the propagation time of the photon and the real distance between the source and observer at the moment of observation are discussed pointing out their specific features in the de Sitter relativity.

AbstractGeodesic motion has significant characteristics of space-time. We calculate the principle Lyapunov exponent (LE), which is the inverse of the instability timescale associated with this geodesics and Kolmogorov–Senai (KS) entropy for our rotating Kerr–Kiselev (KK) black hole. We have investigate the existence of stable/unstable equatorial circular orbits via LE and KS entropy for time-like and null circular geodesics. We have shown that both LE and KS entropy can be written in terms of the radial equation of innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) for time-like circular orbit. Also, we computed the equation marginally bound circular orbit, which gives the radius (smallest real root) of marginally bound circular orbit (MBCO). We found that the null circular geodesics has larger angular frequency than time-like circular geodesics ($$Q_o > Q_{\sigma }$$ Q o > Q σ ). Thus, null-circular geodesics provides the fastest way to circulate KK black holes. Further, it is also to be noted that null circular geodesics has shortest orbital period $$(T_{photon}< T_{ISCO})$$ ( T photon < T ISCO ) among the all possible circular geodesics. Even null circular geodesics traverses fastest than any stable time-like circular geodesics other than the ISCO.
