Cloud solutions in DMS, the application and the reality

This paper discusses the technical application of cloud computing based on the example of document management system (DMS). DMS is based on system to track, manage and store data. The cloud application is a logical continuation of the of development in DMS. However, cloud computing is still missing the wide recognition and satisfied implementation as a result of concerns in the area of data protection as an important issue. Especially in the area of documents management, companies could benefit a lot from the positive properties of using the backup and archival content storage. The paper contains the results of our research based on two studies. The first study was carried out on a sample of students with cloud solutions experiences. The second study contains views and opinions from companies. Based on the results, we sumarise the major problems and concerns of cloud technology application. It Platform for Knowledge Management in Projects Dedicated to the Security and National Defence

Information is one of the most valuable goods in a contemporary hierarchical organization. The necessary condition for an organization to operate properly is to possess certain tools (applications) corresponding with its functional character and enabling basic operations performed on data in a digital form such as gathering, storing and processing. The Management and Command Faculty of the National Defence University makes use of an IT platform for documents’ management called Knowledge-Tree to safeguard the realization of project-related activity entailing the basic statue activity as well as projects in the scope of scientific research and development for the benefit of the defence and national security. The aforementioned software allows for inter alia: the creation of a repository of the knowledge base as well as the initiation of the procedure of documents’ circulation. In the article, the author will make an attempt to envisage the possibilities of the above-mentioned software and will present the procedure of information circulation which is realized in the parent organizational unit.

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Surat pada Dinas Pendapatan, Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Pati

- Documents handling at Dinas Pendapatan, Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Pati was done manually and was not computerized. Because of that, it is needed to build documents management information system to automate the document control activity at department include the function of documents recording, documents making, and documents tracking. For gaining the purpose, a research must be done. That research used Framework for Application System Thinking (FAST) with eight phase, that is scope definition, problem analyst, requirement analyst, logical design, decision analyst, physical design and integration, construction and testing, and also installation and delivery. This research was implemented by using PHP, HTML, and Javascript as programming language and MySQL as database. System testing was done by using black box testing method.The result from this research is documents management information system.

The Design and Realization of Online Submitted System of Graduation Design Documents

First of all, this paper expounds the necessity of designing the system of submit online of graduation design documents, analyzes the problems existing in document management in Zunyi medical university; Secondly, the system of paper submission of the documents was carried on the concrete analysis and design; Finally, by comparing the time cost of the traditional way of documents management of 2012 with the online mode to documents management of 2013, it is concluded that the submission system online can improve the work efficiency and has more advantages.
