This article represents salp swarm algorithm (SSA) for the most favourable operating solution of economic load dispatch (ELD). For making the convergence first along with SSA, another optimization algorithm (i.e., BBO [biogeography;based optimization]) is also used. For lowering the operational cost, wind power is employed with thermal units. SSA is inspired by swarming behaviour of salp, which belongs to salpiside family. Salp possess a special kind of swarm while hunting for food and navigating. The recommended algorithm is executed on two systems of SIX units and 40 units. In both of the cases, load dispatch problem is carried out with renewable sources and also without renewable sources. Individually, BBO, SSA, and hybrid BBO-SSA are applied to all the test systems to justify effectiveness of hybrid BBO-SSA. Obtained results assure the prospective and advantages of recommended algorithm in contrast to algorithms mentioned in the article. Results come out to be very satisfying and reveal that hybrid BBO-SSA is a powerful algorithm to solve ELD problems.

Abstract The K2 stream cipher, designed for 32-bit words, is an ISO/IEC 18033 standard and is listed as a recommended algorithm used by the Japanese government in the CRYPTREC project. The main feature of the K2 algorithm is the use of a dynamic feedback control mechanism between the two linear feedback shift registers, which makes the analysis of the K2 algorithm more difficult. In this paper, for its simplified version algorithm, a key recovery attack is performed by using differential attacks. Firstly, for the unknown key, the same IV is fixed in two chosen IV differential attacks, and we use the input differences and the output differences of the S-box to recover the input of S-box; the internal state values can be uniquely determined by taking intersection of the input of S-box. This technology is used to improve the key recovery attack of seven-round algorithm proposed by Deike Priemuth-Schmid. Secondly, we find the constraint relationship between the keystream equations and the unknown differences by introducing the guess difference bit and eliminate the impossible differences by the constraint relationship. Thus, we expand the key recovery attack from seven to nine rounds. The time complexity of the attack is $\boldsymbol{O} \boldsymbol{(2^{113.93})}$, the data complexity is $\boldsymbol{O}\boldsymbol{(2^{8.71})}$ and the success rate is $\textbf{99.07\%}$.

Abstract Background: Sarcopenia, i.e., the decline of skeletal muscle tissue with age, is a key cause of functional deterioration and loss of independence in older adults, and increases the risks of fall, hospitalization, and mortality; it requires active prevention and management of sarcopenia in community-dwelling older adults. Existing diagnostic criteria for sarcopenia have typically been developed for European populations and may not be applicable to Asian populations. The present study aimed to identify the prevalence of sarcopenia in community-dwelling Korean older adults, and validate two simplified diagnostic algorithms based on the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) algorithm for identifying sarcopenia. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 388 community-dwelling older adults (254 women and 134 men, with a mean age of 77.8 ± 6.26 years [range, 65‒93 years]), from a rural area in Korea. Muscle strength was measured by hand grip strength, physical performance by gait speed, and muscle mass by skeletal muscle mass index (SMI). Sarcopenia was assessed using the AWGS-recommended algorithm as well as two simplified algorithms (A and B). Algorithms A and B were validated with respect to the AWGS-recommended algorithm using the chi-square test, and the sensitivity and specificity were obtained. Results: The prevalence of sarcopenia, determined using the AWGS-recommended algorithm, was 41.7% and 40.3% in men and women, respectively. The overall prevalence of sarcopenia was 39.2% by the AWGS-recommended algorithm, 37.6% by algorithm A, and 37.6% by algorithm B; 137 participants were classified as sarcopenia by all three methods (p = .223).Conclusion: We established the prevalence of sarcopenia among rural community-dwelling adults in Korea and confirmed that the simplified algorithms were suitable for identification of sarcopenia in rural community-dwelling older adults in Korea. Further studies are needed to assess whether these simplified algorithms are also applicable to older Asian adults with functional and/or cognitive impairment, as well as nursing home residents.

Today, with the invent of modern technological applications, it requires a greater security measure to transmit confidential data over various unsecure networks particularly in the fields of military, medical Infrastructure and so on. It can be sent through various communication channels that includes multimedia media like audio/video, electronic signals etc. To transmit information securely, different methods like steganography or cryptography can be used. The term steganography has its derivative from the Greek words “steganos” meaning hidden or covert and graphia meaning writing.Steganography can be defined as a way of hiding a confidential file, text information, or any other multimedia content (image, video or audio)into any other multimedia carrier file. In this work, steganography based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) method is proposed where in the secret data is inserted in the modified coefficients of the cover image. The proposed steganography method is implemented in the frequency domain. This approach caters to the needs of users based on the capacity and quality of inclusion data to be transmitted using medical images. To attain this, the recommended algorithm comprises of converting the message into encrypted text using the modified AES algorithm with 8x8 state matrix and incorporating information of encrypted text into medical images. Contrasting to the spatial domain methods, the encrypted confidential messages will be are assimilated into the high frequency coefficients which are obtained by applying discrete Wavelet transformation. Experimental results reveal that embedding encrypted data using DWT technique gives good PSNR values to attain high quality stego images

The article is aimed at defining the main problems that arise at the stage of managing strategic changes of enterprises in the sphere of health improvement and recreation, elaborating the ways to overcome them. The available publications by many foreign and domestic scholars on the concept of «management of changes» are analyzed; the most accepted definitions of the concepts of «strategic changes» and «management of changes» are highlighted. The main problems that arise in management of changes in the enterprises operating in the sphere of health improvement and recreation are considered. A general scheme of the main stages of implementation of strategic changes is proposed, which consists of six main stages. These stages are the recommended algorithm of the process of implementation of changes at the enterprise operating in the sphere of health improvement and recreation. A SWOT-analysis of the sphere of health improvement and recreation of the country was conducted, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the development of the tourism sector in Ukraine were identified. The most common directions of development of the sphere of health improvement and recreation are determined. The existing changes are researched according to the degree of transformations. The concepts of «program of changes» and «changes plan» are considered and the peculiarities of their composition are defined. Further on, the main essential tasks of developing a project of strategic changes have been formulated. The leading tasks of the program of changes at the enterprise have been defined. A general scheme for developing a strategic change implementation plan is proposed, consisting of three blocks: tasks; steps; terms of fulfillment. The problems in evaluating the results from the implemented changes have been identified and the general principles that should be consistent with assessing the effectiveness of these changes have been determined. The main reasons for resistance to strategic changes are allocated and ways to overcome them are proposed.
