To provide a basic quantitative mathematical model for data analysis, decision-making support, and application of information systems oriented to emergency research, this paper established an information transmission response model for school students under such system mathematically based on actual school information transmission data during COVID-19 prevention. This paper proposes an emergency information management method—a two-step emergency information management method. It can be referenced for promotion of the development of IT-based school management, enhancement of IT application in school emergency information management, and improvement of the speed and accuracy of information transmission.

The distribution of heating gun ends plays a decisive role in the sidewall properties of finished rotomolded products. To obtain the optimal distribution of the end face of a rotational molding heating gun, the temperature response of the end-face mold under heating gun heating was investigated, and an analysis method based on numerical simulation is proposed. The FDS (fire dynamics simulator) was used to construct a heating model of the heating gun, simulate and obtain a heatmap of the temperature field distribution of a heating gun of Φ30–70 mm, and determine the optimal diameter and heating distance of the heating gun. ANSYS was used to establish the thermal response model of the heat-affected mold, which was combined with the mold structure and thermophysical properties of steel. A temperature field distribution on the inner wall surface of Φ30, Φ50, and Φ70 mm heating guns when heating at each diameter of the end face was obtained and the distribution position of the end face of each diameter heating gun was determined. ANSYS was used to establish the thermal response model of the end-face mold and obtain the temperature field distribution of the inner wall surface of the end-face mold. The size of the heat-affected area of each diameter heating gun was combined, the end-face heating gun distribution was optimized, and the optimal heating gun end-face distribution was obtained. An experimental platform was built, and a validation experiment was set up. Through the analysis and processing of the data of three experiments, the temperature variation curve of each diameter on the inner surface of the end-face mold was obtained. We compare and analyze the simulation and experimental results to determine the feasibility of the FDS + ANSYS method and the correctness and accuracy of the simulation model and the results.

Ability to easily search and then compare items is an advantage that online platforms have over bricks and mortar formats. In such an intensely competitive airline market, this paper investigates if this exploration experience satisfies the traveler during air ticket booking, by applying the stimulus organism response model. An empirical study is used to test the proposed model by applying the structural equation modeling and interaction effects. The model describes the extent by which traveler’s repurchase intention is influenced by four important factors – search and compare assortment satisfaction, social influence and overall satisfaction. The paper extends the satisfaction to online repatronage intention and customer loyalty. This empirical study also establishes that the relationships are moderated due to civil status and ticketing number of platforms used by the customers.

In this chapter, the authors investigate the performance of the Gjestvang and Singh randomized response model for estimating the mean of a sensitive variable using ranked set sampling along the lines of Bouza. The proposed estimator is found to be unbiased, and a variance expression is derived. Then a simulation study is carried out to judge the magnitude of relative efficiency in various situations. At the end, the proposed model is assessed based on real secondary data applications. A set of SAS codes is also included.

Transmission modes of multiple rotating parts on combine harvester are complex and diverse, which resulted in large vibration and poor stability when the entire machine is harvesting. Aiming at the complex vibration problem of the combine harvester threshing system, this paper established the dynamic response model of the multidrum parallel system under different transmission modes and solved the vibration characteristics of the system. An experiment on the axial unbalance response of the parallel drum system under different transmission modes was carried out. The results show that the internal units of the threshing system form a whole through the transmission system, which causes the unbalanced response of the system to be superimposed on parallel threshing drums, thereby increasing the vibration amplitude. In addition, the change of the transmission mode will cause the vibration transmission path in the system to change greatly, and the boundary conditions of the system will be changed at the same time, which will eventually lead to the change of the unbalanced response characteristics.
