Advances in Implantable Optogenetic Technology for Cardiovascular Research and Medicine

Optogenetic technology provides researchers with spatiotemporally precise tools for stimulation, sensing, and analysis of function in cells, tissues, and organs. These tools can offer low-energy and localized approaches due to the use of the transgenically expressed light gated cation channel Channelrhodopsin-2 (ChR2). While the field began with many neurobiological accomplishments it has also evolved exceptionally well in animal cardiac research, both in vitro and in vivo. Implantable optical devices are being extensively developed to study particular electrophysiological phenomena with the precise control that optogenetics provides. In this review, we highlight recent advances in novel implantable optogenetic devices and their feasibility in cardiac research. Furthermore, we also emphasize the difficulties in translating this technology toward clinical applications and discuss potential solutions for successful clinical translation.

ANALISIS FUNGSI, PERAN, DAN KATEGORI SINTAKSIS PADA OPINI “VAKSIN COVID 19 PENAHAN RESESI” OLEH SARMAN SIMANJORANG DALAM KORAN SUARA MERDEKA (The Analysis of Function, Role, and Synthactic Catagories of "Covid 19 Recession Resistant Vaccine" by Sarman Simanjorang's Opinion in Suara Merdeka's Newspaper

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi,kategori dan peran sintaksis pada kalimat tunggal dan majemuk yang terdapat dalam opini “Vaksin Covid 19 Penahan Resesi” oleh Sarman Simanjorang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik baca catat dan dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan adalah teks dalam opini koran suara merdeka. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 10 kalimat. Banyak ditemukan kalimat yang berpola SPOK. Selain itu, ditemukan fungsi subjek,objek dan pelengkap berkategori nomina atau frasa nomina. Subjek berperan sebagai pelaku, persona,sebab. Fungsi predikat berkategori verba atau frasa verba berperan sebagai aktivitas,keadaan,jumlah. Objek berperan sebagai penerima,sasaran,alat. Pelengkap berperan sebagai status. fungsi ket. berkategori nomina dan numeralia berperan sebagai akibat, tujuan, waktu dan jumlah. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah dalam menemukan struktur sintaksis.

DiseaseLinc: Disease Enrichment Analysis of Sets of Differentially Expressed LincRNAs

Long intergenic non-coding RNAs (LincRNAs) are long RNAs that do not encode proteins. Functional evidence is lacking for most of them. Their biogenesis is not well-known, but it is thought that many lincRNAs originate from genomic duplication of coding material, resulting in pseudogenes, gene copies that lose their original function and can accumulate mutations. While most pseudogenes eventually stop producing a transcript and become erased by mutations, many of these pseudogene-based lincRNAs keep similarity to the parental gene from which they originated, possibly for functional reasons. For example, they can act as decoys for miRNAs targeting the parental gene. Enrichment analysis of function is a powerful tool to discover the functional effects of a treatment producing differential expression of transcripts. However, in the case of lincRNAs, since their function is not easy to define experimentally, such a tool is lacking. To address this problem, we have developed an enrichment analysis tool that focuses on lincRNAs exploiting their functional association, using as a proxy function that of the parental genes and has a focus on human diseases. The Analysis of Function and Poetry Content of Traditional Marriage in Seusina Village Community, Sikka Regency

This study aims to analyze the function and poetry content of traditional marriage in Seusina Village community, Kewapante District, Sikka Regency, NTT Province. Traditional poetry as an oral tradition contains teachings and values of life that are passed down from generation to generation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis. Sources of data in the study were informants who met certain criteria and the data in the study were traditional old utterances in the form of word strands that form lines and stanzas. The data validation used the method of triangulation technique, namely by comparing the results of observations in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Seusina Village community. The results showed that the traditional marriage poetry of the Seusina Village community functions as a means of education (didactic) and a means of teaching about good and bad things (morality). The contents of the traditional marriage poetry of the Seusina Village community include strengthening the values of politeness, generosity, patience, and tenacity.
