Learning outcomes are a learning carried out by someone after  going through the process of learning activities, which uses an assessment tool prepared by the teacher, such as an evaluation test that includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This study aims to determine the relationship between student interest in the use of Google Classroom with learning outcomes of facial skin care with technology. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method with a sample of 65 students of the Cosmetology Education study program batch 2020. The data for the X variable (student interest in using Google Classroom) was obtained by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. Meanwhile, the Y variable data (Learning Results of Facial Skin Care with Technology) was obtained from Form 06. The results of the analysis with product moment correlation showed that there was no positive and significant relationship between students' interest in learning outcomes of facial skin care with technology. Based on the calculations obtained a significance value of 0.274 which means it is greater than 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho which reads: "Students' Interest in Using Google Classroom does not have a positive effect on Learning Outcomes of Facial Skin Care with Technology" is accepted. On the other hand, "Students' Interest in Using Google Classroom has a positive effect on Learning Outcomes of Facial Skin Care with Technology" is rejected. The effective contribution was obtained by 1.9% and the remaining 98.1% was not examined in this study.

This case involves a 30-year-old female who suffered extensive facial burns as an outcome of a horrific assault. The patient subsequently underwent 2 surgeries with the ultimate goal of reducing the cosmetic, physical, and thus mental burden the assault caused. The technique of choice was the novel trapezius fasciocutaneous flap for burn reconstruction of the neck. It is discussed that while this technique is still deemed a novel procedure, its unique characteristics make it an excellent choice for cases similar to this one. While this approach has not been widely popularized in the treatment of patients with burn contracture requiring reconstruction, the donor site characteristics and ideal functionality make the trapezius fasciocutaneous flap such an excellent choice. This particular type of graft yields a hidden donor site, contains rich vascularity with physical qualities similar to those of facial skin, specifically in regard to thickness, color, and texture, and ultimately produces the most ideal cometic outcome. Further, the wide arc of rotation unique to this flap allows for better manipulation and mobility at the transplanted location. While the anatomic implications are very relevant to head and neck surgery, this method also produces exemplary cosmetic outcomes when compared to other graft procedures.

Abstract Background Vascular embolism is a serious complication of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler cosmetic injection and hyaluronidase injection has been proposed as the treatment. Until now there is a lack of adequate clinical evidence regarding the benefits of treatment for HA filler-induced vascular embolism by percutaneous facial or supratrochlear arterial hyaluronidase injection. Objectives To evaluate the efficacy of percutaneous facial or supratrochlear arterial hyaluronidase injection as a rescue treatment for HA filler-induced vascular embolism. Methods We included 17 patients with vascular embolism after facial HA filler injection. Intraarterial injection of 1500 units hyaluronidase was performed via facial artery for thirteen cases with skin necrosis and via supratrochlear arterial for four cases with severe ptosis and skin necrosis but no visual impairment. Simultaneously, the general symptomatic treatment and nutritional therapy were performed. Results After hyaluronidase injection, the facial skin necrosis in all cases was restored and the ptosis in the four cases was also significantly relieved. Patients were subsequently followed for 1 month to 1 year. The skin necrosis in 16 patients were completely healed and only 1 patient had small, superficial scars. Conclusions It is effective to alleviate the skin necrosis and ptosis resulting from HA filler embolism via percutaneous facial or supratrochlear arterial hyaluronidase injection.

Background. Patients seeking cosmetic help, most commonly, haven`t only defects in appearance, in particular, facial skin, but also experience certain psychological problems in this regard. On the other hand, the reaction to the performed cosmetic correction of the mentioned defects depends, including on the patients psychological characteristics. The study of the correlation between clinical and psychological characteristics should contribute to the individualization of the cosmetological correction process and optimization of the patient life quality. Aims. To establish the correlation between age, clinical and psychological characteristics of women with cosmetic problems of the facial skin. Materials and methods. Using the methods of psychological diagnostics, we examined 110 women who received cosmetic assistance. Semi-quantitative method was used to assess the cosmetic problem intensity, the duration of its existence and the effect of the correction performed. Clinical and psychological research was carried out using the author's structured interview, which questions were aimed at fixing both the formal social positions of the patients and the characteristics of the system of significant relationships. Psychometric research was carried out using standardized questionnaires in order to identify a wide range of personality characteristics. In the course of statistical processing of the results, a frequency analysis of the gradations of nominative and rank signs was carried out using Pearson's 2, as well as a correlation analysis of clinical and psychological characteristics using the Spearman -test. Results. The author traced the statistical correlation between the degree of manifestation of the cosmetic problem and its influence on the psychological state of patients, as well as between the degree of their satisfaction with its solution and a number of personal characteristics and attitudes. Conclusions. The assumption was confirmed that the effect of treatment is determined not only by clinical factors and the possibilities of modern cosmetology, but also by psychological factors, among which the motivational orientation and activity of the individual, which form the basis of patient compliance, are of decisive importance.

Verrucous carcinoma (VC) is a rare subtype of squamous cell carcinoma that commonly occurs in the oral cavity. However, VC of the facial skin is relatively rare. We report a case of a 91-year-old woman with VC of the facial skin in the left zygoma area. She was diagnosed with actinic keratosis (4 × 3 cm) of the same site approximately 12 years previously, but declined further treatment. The mass was excised with a minimum of 0.4 cm from gross margins with the result of free from tumor of all margins by frozen section, allowing for primary closure after skin undermining. Basal resection was performed in the preplatysmal plane. The diagnosis of VC was confirmed by histopathological examination. Postoperatively, the wound healed without incident and with no signs of facial nerve injury. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of VC of facial skin arising from actinic keratosis.

Enlarged pores of facial skin always remain a matter of concern from both dermatologic and cosmetologic points of view. There were many conditions that are difficult to treat in which facial pores enlarge among them most common condition is acne vulgaris. This condition put a negative impact on a person’s quality of life and as well as also socially devastating for many individuals as it affects the physical appearance of a person. Although enlarged pores are not of medical concern it is considered as a more cosmetic con- cern. There are many available possible treatment options for enlarged pores but this case report is based on clinical evaluation of radiofrequency therapy in treating enlarged skin pores. In this report, three ses- sions of therapy every week for 3 weeks were applied. The results show a gradual decrease in the size of pores with almost clear skin. Keywords: acne vulgaris, enlarged pores, facial pores, radiofrequency
