This article is devoted to a philosophical discussion of the emerging field of neuroeconomics, which is the study of neural mechanisms involved in decision-making and their economic significance. Separate concepts of rational and irrational decision-making in philosophy, economics and psychology are presented. In the interdisciplinary field of neuroeconomics, through logic and individual examples, it explores approaches in the theory of decision-making. Neuroeconomical accounting of irrationality is characterized, and it is confirmed that a person does not always make rational decisions. It is noted that because of his brain activity, decisions can be predetermined in advance, creating the so-called «illusion of choice».

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence have been all over the world lately,in almost every possible field be it finance, education, entertainment, healthcare, astronomy, astrology, and many more sports is no exception. With so much data, statistics, and analysis available in this particular field, when everything is being recorded it has become easier for team selectors, broadcasters, audience, sponsors, most importantly for players themselves to prepare against various opponents. Even the analysis has improved over the period of time with the evolvement of AI, not only analysis one can even predict the things with the insights available. This is not even restricted to this, nowadays players are trained in such a manner that they are capable of taking the most feasible and rational decisions in any given situation. Chess is one of those sports that depend on calculations, algorithms, analysis, decisions etc. Being said that whenever the analysis is involved, we have always improvised on the techniques. Algorithms are somethingwhich can be solved with the help of various software, does that imply that chess can be fully solved,in simple words does that mean that if both the players play the best moves respectively then the game must end in a draw or does that mean that white wins having the first move advantage. Let’s figure it out.

Profit is the main objective upon which most economic units are based and the criterion on which companies depend on their survival and sustainability in the labor market, and there are many parties that depend on it in drawing up their policy to deal with them in light of the profits they achieve, such as owners, investors, creditors, and all users Internal and external according to the degree of interest of each user in the profits. Despite the importance of that element, there are many factors that affect the achievement of profits and their fluctuation from year to year, which requires identification and study of them, and the adaptation of accounting information systems in a manner that reduces their effects and their implications, for the purpose of assisting top management in making rational decisions on it. The research highlights those factors, and many conclusions and recommendations have been reached.

Researchers have documented numerous cognitive biases that are difficult to reconcile with rational choice theory. But is there a more general set of decision-making rules that might account for these cognitive biases and ‘rational’ decisions alike? Psychologists in search of such rules have developed a theory of quantum decision making. This chapter introduces quantum decision making to a legal audience, explains its intellectual origins, and identifies some contexts in which it provides useful tools for legal theorists. Using the example of a juror evaluating a criminal case, the chapter illustrates how quantum decision making explains and predicts phenomena that are difficult to reconcile with other theories of choice. More generally, quantum decision making highlights the importance of sequence in shaping judgments and decisions—and thus, its importance in law’s choice architecture.

AbstractPandemics like COVID-19 confront us with decisions about life and death that come with great uncertainty, factual as well as moral. How should policy makers deal with such uncertainty? We suggest that rather than to deliberate until they have found the right course of action, they better do moral experiments that generate relevant experiences to enable more reliable moral evaluations and rational decisions.

The popularity of alternative online investment platforms has become worrisome in recent times. Adopting explorative methodology, this chapter examines the discursive practices of truth, lies and deception inherent in Ponzi and Pyramid schemes through their method of operation, recruitment strategies, products/services and reward system via Bitconnect, OneCoin, and Zarfund – three online-based Ponzi schemes. The study reveals that the greatest deception of Ponzi schemes lies in the high returns they promise to potential investors and the low work requirement. These claims make it difficult for potential investors to make rational decisions before investing. This study recommends that proper evaluation and due diligence – basic financial literacy – be conducted before investing in any AFIP. Alternatively, expert advice may be sort before any financial commitment.

The article discusses the interaction of marketing and logistics in the implementation of industrial and economic activities by industrial enterprises, the management of which may be adversely affected by really possible changes of a different nature. Moreover, the whole range of changes is divided into five groups according to the sources of their occurrence: system-wide (changes made to legislative acts in the field of taxation, investment, insurance and customs activities); industry (changes in terms of market conditions, terms of renovation of technical devices, industry standards, product certification); regional (changes regarding specific features of the region’s infrastructure); partnership (changes in the tariff policy and price characteristics of the services provided); corporate (changes in relation to the requirements for staff work). For each group, a ministudy of possible changes and reactions to them in the form of optimal and rational decisions in the implementation of joint marketing and logistics activities was conducted. The proposed solutions are part of the marketing and logistics tools, which are outsourcing and insourcing, product customization, maneuvering with inventories, relationship marketing, reengineering analysis.

The paper analyzes the political context of the constitution of a common state of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. The search for and recording of the reasons for the adoption of certain legal solutions begins with the consideration of political circumstances at the domestic and international political level. Further, through the analysis of political circumstances and sociological environment, the character of the legal acts that preceded the constitutive, Corfu and Geneva declarations and finally the December unification acts is observed. After the objectification of the act of unification, the central topic of research is the procedure of enactment and political elements of the Vidovdan Constitution. The research is also part of an attempt to establish the facts and demystify the issues that have burdened the former Yugoslav states for decades. Was the common state a mistake or the result of rational decisions in the dynamics of Europe at that time. Formally - legally and politically, all countries of the former community are either in the European Union or on the path to membership, with a strong state desire to be part of the same community, and on that basis, the historical-political context is observed.
