Abstract: When minutes of down-time can negatively impact the bottom line of a business, it is crucial that the physical infrastructure supporting be reliable. The equipment reliability can be achieved with a solid understanding of mean time between failures. Mean time between failures (MTBF) has been used for years as a basis for various maintenance decisions supported by various methods and procedures for lifecycle predictions. To quantifying a maintainable system or reliability we can use MTBF. For developing the mean time between failures model we can use make use of Poisson distribution, Weibull model and Bayesian model. In this paper we will be talking about complexities and misconceptions of MTBF and clarify criteria that need to be consider in estimating MTBF in a sequential manner. This paper sheds light on MTBF using examples throughout in an effort to simplify complexity. Keywords: MTBF, Two Tandem Mill, Sugar Mill, Reliability, Maintenance

PICO question Does treatment with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with supplementation of marine-derived omega-3 fatty acids (n-3FAs) compared to the NSAID alone, result in an increased ability to exert force by the osteoarthritic limb(s) of dogs or alleviate other measures of osteoarthritis? Clinical bottom line Category of research question Treatment The number and type of study designs reviewed Two prospective, block-randomised, clinical trials Strength of evidence None Outcomes reported Kwananocha et al. (2016) investigated administration of carprofen supplemented with marine-derived n-3 FAs, to carprofen alone, administered over 4 weeks. Vijarnsorn et al. (2019) investigated administration of firocoxib supplemented with n-3FA, to firocoxib alone, for 4 weeks. There were no statistical differences between treatment groups at week 2 and week 4 post-treatment for either study. Both studies also reported orthopaedic assessment score (OAS) based on scoring the extent of patient lameness and pain in the affected joint. There were no statistical changes in OASs between treatment groups at week 2 or week 4 post-treatment for either study Conclusion There is no evidence that marine-derived n-3 FAs provide additional benefit when used as adjunctive agents with NSAIDs for the treatment of canine osteoarthritis How to apply this evidence in practice The application of evidence into practice should take into account multiple factors, not limited to: individual clinical expertise, patient’s circumstances and owners’ values, country, location or clinic where you work, the individual case in front of you, the availability of therapies and resources. Knowledge Summaries are a resource to help reinforce or inform decision making. They do not override the responsibility or judgement of the practitioner to do what is best for the animal in their care.

Abstract When a page, represented by the interval $[0,1],$ is folded right over left $ n$ times, the right-hand fold contains a sequence of points. We specify these points and the order in which they appear in each fold. We also determine exactly where in the folded structure any point in $[0,1]$ appears and, given any point on the bottom line of the structure, which point lies at each level above it.

Abstract Stablecoins and central bank digital currencies are on the horizon in Asia, and in some cases have already arrived. This paper provides new analysis and a critique of the use case for both forms of digital currency. It provides time-varying estimates of devaluation risk for the leading stablecoin, Tether, using data from the futures market. It describes the formidable obstacles to widespread use of central bank digital currencies in cross-border transactions, the context in which their utility is arguably greatest. The bottom line is that significant uncertainties continue to dog the region's digital currency initiatives.

Research on green building in terms of accounting science is still rare. This research aims to explore the benchmarks and criteria for green building in its application to multi-storey buildings and to contribute to increasing the efficiency of building operational costs.

The method used in this research is through exploration of data from questionnaires collected using simple arithmetic techniques and graphic techniques in summarizing the observational data. The number of respondents who responded to the questionnaire that was run until this data was processed was 111 respondents.

The results of this study indicate that the application of green building benchmarks can be said to have been implemented because the average percentage of respondents who answered Yes was 58.4% or above the standardization used in this study, namely 57% (gold rank).

This research provides theoretical implications, which is able to strengthen the theory of the reliability of accounting. One of them is green accounting, which is the triple bottom line (planet, people and profit). In order that implementation of green building which has been applied only from the civil engineering condition of the building, the art of building architecture and the electrical engineering of the building, but now it has begun to be calculated regarding advantages and disadvantages similarly the benefit of the green building .

From a micro economics (organizational) point of view, this research contributes to educating property business and stakeholders that green building is not object that is expensive although is a solution for cost efficiency. People can distinguish the price of green buildings and ordinary buildings.

Abstract Background Creating a box lesion in the posterior wall of the left atrium from the epicardial side of the beating heart remains a challenge. Although a transmural lesion can be created by applying radiofrequency (RF) energy at clampable sites, it is still difficult to create a transmural lesion at unclampable sites because the inner blood flow in the unclampable free wall weakens the thermal effect on the outside. Our aim was to apply the newly developed infrared coagulator to create linear transmural lesions on the beating heart thoracoscopically to treat atrial fibrillation (AF). Case presentation A 71-year-old male was referred to our hospital with a diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and permanent atrial fibrillation. The patient was first diagnosed with atrial fibrillation 20 years before. Direct current cardioversion had been performed every few years a total of four times, but sinus rhythm restoration had always been temporary. On February 27, 2020, thoracoscopic PV isolation together with infrared roof- and bottom-line ablation to create a box lesion and left atrial appendage amputation (LAAA) were performed. The coagulator could be applied to clinical thoracoscopic surgery to successfully create a box lesion without any complication. The patient restored a regular sinus rhythm, it has been maintained for eleven months, and there have been no adverse events. Conclusions The infrared coagulator might have enough potential to create transmural lesions on the beating heart in thoracoscopic AF surgery.
