<p>MacLean Park located on the Kapiti Coast has one of the most dynamic natural environments in the country. As tides rise, dunes shrink and grow and rivermouths shift over time, it can be difficult to perceive these environmental changes due to promptly forgotten benchmarks.  Within this thesis, I argue that architecture could provide both a benchmark and datum by which we can begin to understand and register these environmental changes, highlighting a need for architecture’s role to act as a mediator between our natural and urban environment.  The project explores a series of methods and strategies to make this dynamic and shifting environmental condition visible. A rigid and reductive geometry forms a potential answer. This informs a series of experiments which look to uncover how we can visually measure and observe our built and natural environment. A design-led research methodology leads to initial investigations on form and reduction within a chaotic landscape, followed by approaches to register site specific data and historic landmarks.  The final design investigations centre on a holistic coexistence of built form amongst the dunescape, lifting the modular structure on piloti above the delicate ecosystem below to allow the landscape, dunes and flora to flow freely in a temporal manner and interact with the building. The resulting design method shifts from a reductive approach to taking measure through ordering systems and composition to a more integrated approach between landscape and architecture. Here, measurement and observation become both an instrumental and poetic narrative as the building becomes a reflection of its surrounds.  The resulting tension between a rational and poetic approach to designing sees the Kapiti Island Biosecurity Visitor’s Centre become a measurement device on a coastal threshold. Through this architectural response, we can begin to observe, measure, read and understand the ecological qualities of the immediate site and its association with the township beyond.</p>

Suppliers are one of the most important parts of the supply chain, whose performance indirectly has a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Because customer demands are different from organizations, organizations have to consider different criteria for selecting their suppliers. In recent years, many studies in this field have been conducted using various criteria and methods. The main purpose defined in this research is to develop a model for simultaneous item ordering systems in real business conditions. In this research, a model is developed by considering the two objectives of minimizing overall costs and maximizing the amount of products ordered from different suppliers based on their weight value. Weights are calculated based on different criteria using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method for each supplier in different periods. Then, due to the multiobjective nature of the model, the proposed model has been solved by using the epsilon constraint in GAMS and nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II in MATLAB software. Considering the simultaneous order of inventory of multiproduct with several suppliers in several periods of time in discrete space with discount is one of the contributions of this research. To validate the proposed model, the results of the exact solution are compared with the meta-heuristic solution. Comparison results and assessment metrics indicate that the results of the proposed solution approach with an error of less than 1% had good performance. The results show that the system cost increases, by increasing the amount of discount, because of the increase in the amount of demand. Therefore, with a 30% increase in the discount, the system costs will increase to 36,496 units. Also, with a 20% reduction, the cost reduction will be reduced to 14,170 units.

Currently, technology is relevant to people's lives because people use technology daily for activities, work, transactions and various aspects of life. Information systems have an important role in everything, one of which is for economic growth and also helps provide information to the public easily. Sian Barbershop is engaged in shaving services and requires a good information system, because the most important business processes for Sian Barbershop are Online Booking and administration. The current problem is that Sian Barbershop still uses conventional methods and still uses written records. On the other hand, long queues are one of the factors that make online ordering systems important for customer convenience. The purpose of this writing and design is a new method where online booking will help customers shave their hair at Sian Barbershop and support existing business processes. The information system that will be designed using Adobe Xd is aimed at selling and attracting the attention of MSME customers. In the design methodology, the steps that need to be done in making this information system are mapping information needs, design and construction of information systems. The result of the design is that the information system application that has been designed and designed has fulfilled the booking function (in CRM) in accordance with the indicators that have been made. The design of this information system already has a usability factor where the information system is feasible and can also be implemented for these SMEs.Saat ini teknologi menjadi hal yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat karena keseharian masyarakat menggunakan teknologi untuk beraktifitas , bekerja , bertransaksi dan berbagai aspek hidup. Sistem informasi mempunyai peran penting dalam segala hal salah satunya untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi dan juga membantu memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat dengan mudah. Permasalahan saat ini , Sian Barbershop masih menggunakan metode konvensional dan masih menggunakan catatan tertulis. Di sisi lain antrian yang cukup panjang menjadi salah satu faktor yang membuat sistem pemesanan daring menjadi penting bagi kenyamanan pelanggan.  Tujuan dari penulisan dan perancangan ini adalah metode baru dimana adanya bookingonline ini akan membantu para pelanggan mencukur rambut di Sian Barbershop dan  menunjang proses bisnis yang ada.  Sistem Informasi yang akan dirancang menggunakan Adobe Xd yang tertuju penjualan dan menarik perhatian costumer UMKM. Dalam Metodologi perancangan , tahap yang perlu dilakukan dalam membuat sistem informasi ini seperti adalah pemetaan kebutuhan informasi, desain dan konstruksi sistem informasi. Hasil dari perancangan adalah aplikasi sistem informasi yang sudah dirancang dan di desain sudah memenuhi fungsi booking (dalam CRM) sesuai dengan indikator yang sudah dibuat. Perancangan sistem informasi ini sudah memiliki faktor usability  dimana sistem informasi sudah layak dan juga bisa diimplementasikan ke UMKM ini.

<p><b>This thesis explores opportunities to challenge how the nature of spatial installation art might be conceived within the medium of habitable architecture. It explores how spatial installation can take a shift in spatial qualities from space that is occupied to space that is inhabited. It focuses specifically on precedents and opportunities for the use of architectural vocabulary along with materiality, context, ordering systems, and identities to engage the occupant with spatial experience that challenges the boundaries between art and interior architecture. The intent of this thesis is to investigate how such vocabularies can be applied to interior architecture in order to formulate architectural space that society actively interacts in and through. The macro approach embraces multi - functionality allowing freedom for the space to metamorphose when confronted with a new set of social demands by the inhabitant without the space actually needing to physically change.</b></p> <p>The thesis investigates the threshold between the realms of conceptual spatial art and programmed habitable architectural space. It examines how an ‘installation’ can respond to multiple programmatic requirements and the requirements of habitation, as a means of redefining our presumptions of interior architecture. This thesis investigates the liminal boundaries defining a construction as a work of architecture versus a work of art by considering interior architecture as a vital transition between architecture and art. As a site for this investigation the thesis explores ‘interior architecture’ opportunities along a pedestrian pathway in Wellington, one which is spatially contained by urban buildings on either side. The selection of this site for an investigation of interior architecture immediately challenges traditional presumptive boundaries between interior architecture, architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning. Such a site provides a critical vehicle for investigating the nature of program and habitability within a constructed installation space that crosses the boundaries into architecture.</p>

<p>In the early 21st century environmental, social and cultural changes are confronting the traditional relationship one has with technology, space and subsequently architecture. More specifically the tools of design are becoming integrated, whereby the clarity of tradition is becoming overlapped, becoming blurred. With this in mind the research investigates the opportunities of an iterative hand drawing process to develop architectural responses to movement, time and transformation. Highlighting a future which is inevitably changing, it is important to assess the inherent qualities of our design tools, as they too influence the connection and formation of architectural space. The research explores hand drawing through a design process which firstly, challenges drawn representation techniques and secondly, emphasises movement and transformation as key architectural drivers within the 21st century. Due to the continual developments within technology, construction practices and design materials, there is an opportunity to question and reflect our changing built environment and hence, the role of movement in architecture. With reference to the theorists Catherine Ingraham and Robin Evans, the research develops the position that the practice of architecture has become restricted by linear ordering systems. This is reflective in the orthographic representation of architecture alongside the built edges and boundaries of architectural spaces. Therefore, today's transforming conditions are used to validate and further articulate Ingraham's and Evans's theories, outlining a design response, using Wellington as a case study, built upon overlaying environmental, social and cultural relationships. The architectural outcome connects rather than dissociates itself to transforming conditions, creating multiple rather than singular boundary conditions through architectural blurring. Traditional relationships to spatial boundaries and edges are critiqued through the ambiguities and layers of working within an iterative hand drawing process. The influence of hand drawn qualities has provided a way to insert motion into a construct which is perceptually static, hence introducing a means to negotiate and work within a period of transition.</p>

The work presented as Online Food Ordering Management System simplifies the ordering process. The proposed solution presents a user interface and changes the menu to include all available options, creating customer work easier. Allows customers to order any item that they like and adjust the quantity of the food item. The order confirmation is displayed to the customer on the Homepage of the website. The order is put to the queue, updated across both the database and the admin panel, and provided in real-time. This system aids the staff with checking over orders in real-time and executing them effectively and easily with few errors. Here, the customer can also reserve a table at a restaurant of his/her choice and will get the confirmation of their reserved table on the homepage of our website.

COVID has largely affected organizations and individuals. The current study explores the effect of covid on food industries in the Middle East. We have found that during the pandemic, people tend to choose eating home-cooked meals instead of ordering from restaurants as they think it is “unsafe” to do so. This resulted in an improvement in their cooking skills. Additionally, it is clear that the availability of essential foodstuff hasn’t been majorly affected by the outbreak. Our observations strongly support the fact that people are spending more money on groceries than they used to before the outbreak, and the majority prefers to do so through applications and websites that offer delivery of groceries. This study indicates a development of new digital markets that support the integration of multiple food channels and easy food ordering systems.
