Small/er soccer nations rely strongly on developing youth athletes into experts in adulthood due to financial, logistical, and coach education constraints. One factor that contributes to this expertise is activities engaged in during childhood. Researchers have described these activities by focusing on larger, well-developed countries that often have larger participation rates and higher competition levels than their smaller counterparts. Therefore, to provide more specific information to support talent development in smaller soccer nations, a survey of the youth development system of a small soccer nation was conducted, alongside recording the developmental activities of skilled and less-skilled soccer players within this system. Key stakeholders (e.g., technical director) completed a youth development system survey. Skilled soccer players ( n = 12) who were representing their country at U17 level and less-skilled players ( n = 13) that had never played for their country completed a Participation History Questionnaire. Skilled players engaged in significantly higher amounts of individual practice in both childhood and early adolescence compared to less-skilled players. Survey data indicated that the greater amounts of individual practice for the skilled players stemmed from a lack of finances, playing facilities, and a formal coach education program. Results from this study may inform future practices and processes in the youth development systems of small/er soccer nations and their national associations.

The paper 'Zoom: a case-study' explores the process of the staging of a hybrid performance that took place in September 2021 in Malta as a response to the Covid scenario. This production was watched online and live, with actors performing, using both realities.  The project also explores the notion of space, whether it is the virtual, as opposed to the 'real', and the different spatial dynamics that this performance occurred in. In fact, the performance happened in two 'real' spaces, connected one to the other through an intricate use of screens and cameras, in such a way that whichever way the audience decided to watch the performance in, they could still understand the narrative of the play. The paper is analysed by juxtaposing literature on hybridity against the experiences of the different stakeholders involved in this production, namely, the co-producers, the director (the researcher of this paper), the technical director, the actors and members of the audience, with the aim of analysing and evaluating the dynamics of the production as a model of good practice and discern whether it can provide a framework to work in for the restricted reality that the local industry is in currently, as well as for the future.

Execution of Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara (PTUN) judges verdict in some nation administrative dispute resolution practice in Indonesia have not been properly implemented due to the absence of an executorial Instution as well as a strong legal basis lead to weak force power for  verdict of  the PTUN. Undang-undang Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara also do not explicitly and clearly regulate the issue of force of verdict PTUN and  the execution of the verdict really depends on the goodwill of the Tata Usaha Negara Entity or Officials in obeying the law. How was the execution of the PTUN judges verdict? What was the reason for the unexecuted  judges verdict? So that we can find out how the judges verdict was executed and the reasons why the judges verdict was not executed. We use sociological research method to search what happened. Executor of a decision required to overcome and minimize the PTUN judges verdict  that was not executed as well as improvements to the basis of the Law which is more concrete and forces the execution of PTUN  judges verdict so that no party were harmed. Pelaksanaan putusan hakim Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara dalam praktek penyelesaian sengketa Administrasi negara di Indonesia sebahagiannya belum terlaksana sebagaimana semestinya yang disebabkan ketiadaan lembaga eksekutorial, maupun landasan hukum yang kuat mengakibatkan putusan Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara tidak mempunyai daya paksa. Undang-undang Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara pun tidak mengatur dengan tegas dan jelas mengenai masalah daya paksa putusan Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara, sehingga dalam pelaksanaan Putusan benar-benar tergantung pada iktikad baik Badan atau Pejabat Tata Usaha Negara dalam mentaati hukum. Bagaimana pelaksanaan putusan hakim PTUN.? Apa sebab tidak terlaksananya eksekusi putusan hakim tersebut? Sehingga dapat mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan putusan hakim  dan sebab mengapa tidak terlaksananya putusan hakim tersebut. Dalam meneliti sengekta ini penulis menggunakan metode (Sosiologis research) lebih kepada penelitian lapangan apa yang terjadi, untuk mengatasi dan meminimalisir putusan hakim PTUN yang tidak terlaksana diperlukan adanya eksekutor putusan, serta perbaikan pada landasan Undang-Undang yang bersifat lebih konkrit dan memaksa Pelaksanaan putusan hakim PTUN sehingga tidak ada pihak yang dirugikan.

SPE Board Announces Nominees 2023 President and 2022 Directors Medhat (Med) Kamal is the nominee for 2023 SPE President. He and six others make up the new slate of nominees recommended for positions open on the SPE Board of Directors. 2023 SPE President Medhat (Med) Kamal is a Chevron Fellow Emeritus with primary responsibilities including competency development within the company, identification and development of emerging and white-space technology opportunities, and provision of technological advice and counsel to senior management. He formerly was a fellow and leader at the dynamic reservoir characterization group for Chevron Energy Technology Company. Before Chevron he worked for ARCO, Flopetrol Schlumberger, and Amoco. North America Regional Director Simeon Eburi is a frontier exploration and new ventures petroleum engineer with Chevron, responsible for generating conceptual field development for exploration and business development opportunities. He has spent much of his professional life at Chevron in roles ranging from production operations supervisor in Bakersfield, California, and decision and economic analyst/advisor for deepwater US Gulf operations to production engineer in Oklahoma. He worked with Pemex for 25 years, where he was the manager of different positions identifying assets’ technical needs and provided guidance on the dynamic characterization and behavior of complex, naturally fractured reservoirs.

El Colegio Americano de Medicina Deportiva (ACSM) publica anualmente un estudio que identifica las tendencias mundiales de fitness para el próximo año. El presente estudio reproduce la metodología del estudio de las tendencias del ACSM y pretende caracterizar las tendencias del fitness en Portugal para 2021 según profesionales y estudiantes bien como de practicantes del sector, comparando los resultados con estudios a nivel mundial, europeo y español. Además de la caracterización, se compararon las tendencias entre practicantes y profesionales/estudiantes, y en esta entre géneros, si ejercer o no funciones como profesional y tener el título de Técnico en Ejercicio Físico (TEF), Director Técnico (DT) o no tener título. En este estudio participaron 300 profesionales/estudiantes y 85 practicantes, qué respondieron a un cuestionario online diseñado para tal fin. Los resultados de los profesionales/estudiantes mostraron que las principales tendencias se refieren a licencias (títulos) para profesionales de fitness, empleo de profesionales de fitness certificados, entrenamiento personal, ejercicio para bajar de peso y estilo de vida saludable y cambio de comportamiento. Portugal tiende a estar más en línea con las tendencias europeas que con las mundiales. En la comparación entre profesionales y practicantes hay diferencias en 4 de 42 tendencias. En cuanto al género, se identificaron diferencias significativas en 20 de las 42 tendencias. Comparando los profesionales que realizaban funciones con los que no, se encontraron diferencias en 7 de las 42 tendencias, mientras que entre los títulos profesionales de TEF, DT o sin título profesional se encontraron diferencias en 9 de las 42 tendencias. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) annually publishes a study that identifies worldwide fitness trends for the next year. The present study reproduced the methodology of the study of ACSM trends and intends to characterize the fitness trends in Portugal for 2021 according to professionals/students and clients in the sector, comparing the results with studies at a worldwide, European and Spanish level. In addition to the characterization, the trends between clients and professionals/students were compared, and in this between genders, whether or not to perform functions as a professional and hold the title of Physical Exercise Technician (TEF), Technical Director (DT) or not have title. 300 professionals/students and 85 clients answered an online questionnaire built for this purpose. The results of the professionals/students showed that the main trends concern licenses (titles) for fitness professionals, employ certified fitness professionals, personal training, exercise for weight loss and healthy lifestyle and behaviour change. Portugal tends to be more in line with European trends than worldwide ones. In the comparison between professionals and clients there are differences in 4 out of 42 trends. Regarding gender, significant differences were identified in 20 of the 42 trends. Comparing the professionals who performed functions with those who did not, differences were found in 7 of the 42 trends, while among the professional titles of TEF, DT or without professional title, differences were found in 9 of the 42 trends. Para além da caracterização, foram comparadas as tendências entre os praticantes e os profissionais/estudantes, e nestes entre géneros, exercer ou não funções enquanto profissional e possuir o título de Técnico de Exercício Físico (TEF), Diretor Técnico (DT) ou não possuir título. Participaram neste estudo 300 profissionais/estudantes e 85 praticantes, que responderam a um questionário online construído para o efeito. Os resultados dos profissionais/estudantes demonstraram que as principais tendências dizem respeito a licenças (títulos) para profissionais de fitness, empregar profissionais de fitness certificados, treino personalizado, exercício para perda de peso e estilo de vida saudável e mudança comportamental. Portugal tende a ir mais ao encontro das tendências europeias, do que das mundiais. Na comparação entre os profissionais/estudantes e os praticantes existem diferenças em 4 das 42 tendências. Em relação ao género foram identificadas diferenças significativas em 20 das 42 tendências. Comparando os profissionais que exerciam funções com os que não exerciam, foram encontradas diferenças em 7 das 42 tendências, enquanto entre os títulos profissionais de TEF, DT ou sem título profissional foram encontradas diferenças em 9 das 42 tendências.
