The crustaceans’ family Gammaridae populations’ adaptive reactions with a water temperature increasing to the critical values were studied in the model ecosystem – the microcosm. The experiment included investigation of such indexes as population dimensional composition, precopulatory activity, number of oviparous females, embryogenesis duration, and energy metabolism at the different phases of thermocycle. Obtained data revealed optimal and critical for gammarid’s viability temperature conditions of environment. It is assumed that under conditions of climate change, when water temperature sharp fluctuations take place, in the Kyiv reservoir (Dnipro River, Ukraine) coastal shallow water crustacean’s family Gammaridae components of the invertebrates associations the structural and functional changes are expected. Temperature increasing to the critical values will promote the animals migration processes intensification; incapable of this animals will perish. Gammarids with ability to migrate in direction of areas with more favorable for their viability conditions will have a significant advantage.

AbstractWe developed a synthetic ecosystem of 12 cryopreservable microbial species with diverse interactions as an experimental “model ecosystem.” We created a machine learning model that noninvasively distinguished the 12 species on micrographs enabling high-throughput measurements. Our synthetic ecosystems maintained a certain diversity for at least six months.

This paper investigates and discusses roles, initiatives, and potentials for the business model ecosystem to enter business model innovation triggered by digital wireless technologies and capabilities of the Internet of Packagingenabled smart interactive packaging. This paper develops an overview of the Internet of Packaging technology, wireless digital capabilities, business model innovation, and business model ecosystem in connection to the investigated phenomenon. In this paper, the digital transformation from passive to network-connected enhanced packaging is considered as an accelerator for business model innovation that creates and delivers the value proposition to a wide-ranging business model ecosystem including internal and external participants. Therefore, the governance of the overall business model ecosystem should efficiently reinforce each separate business model, as well as ensure safe and reliable data mobility in the IoP digital infrastructure regarding unique secure digital identifiers.

As the platform business becomes more important, it is crucial to make adequate decisions and choices for strategies, considering influence factors in relation to the platform for each growth model. This study researched how to build a platform business in the IT industry from the perspective of a dynamic approach to understand how the platform growth model successfully enables business entities to enter the market and to continue expansion. Through 21 case studies, this research formulated the four stages of platform growth model: entry, growth, expansion and maturity, providing a conceptual framework to build a platform growth model ecosystem.
