Skin grafting is a useful technique that has been used for a very long time for achieving closure of wounds when it cannot occure in a natural conventional manner. There are different types of grafts according to their origin, thickness and form. There are 3 main types of graftsthat are used to cover wounds: Split-thickness skin grafts, full-thickness skin grafts and composite grafts. Each of them has specific indication and has a unique technique for harvesting. If the graft is not taken care of properly its survival can be compromised and necrosis of the graft can occur. Even though complications may present, skin grafting is still considered a practical approach to repair many type of wounds.

The set of domestic devices and reagent kits for molecular genetic analysis has been developed, which provides for all stages of the study, from the automated isolation of nucleic acids, their amplification with real-time detection to classical and genome-wide DNA sequencing. With the help of the created equipment and reagent kits, approaches for the specific indication of pathogens of a wide range of diseases have been successfully implemented. The high efficiency of the proposed approaches is shown by the example of detecting and analyzing the RNA of the pathogen SARS-CoV-2 in the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic (7 figs, bibliography: 4 refs).

Background: Typically, regulatory requirements include 2 confirmatory studies, each at a 1-sided .025 significance level, for a medicine to be approved for a specific indication. When the same medicine has been approved in related indications, 1 confirmatory study at a 1-sided .025 significance level could constitute adequate evidence of efficacy for a new indication. Methods: This article does not contain any studies with human or animal subjects performed by any of the authors. For multiple related indications developed simultaneously to constitute sufficient evidence of clinical efficacy, the combined-studies significance level can be set at the same level as if those indications are developed sequentially. Results: This article establishes possible strategies to develop a few related indications at the same time for marketing registration approval, maintaining a desired combined-studies significance level; for example, 1-sided .0000156 for 2 indications, with 1 option having each indication assessed with 1 confirmatory study at .00395 significance level. Conclusion: It is possible to develop a few indications at the same time for marketing registration approval, where the combined-studies significance level is less stringent than that of the usual paradigm with 2 confirmatory studies each at 1-sided .025 significance level for every indication.

In the article the new approach for definition of needs of a specialized anti-epidemic team (SAET) of Rospotrebnadzor for test systems for specific indication of pathogenic biological agents on epidemic indications during public events based on division of the infections into 3 levels according to evaluation criteria (questions) developed on the basis of the multiple-factor analysis taking into account the existing epidemiological risks of an event is described. Within ensuring readiness of SAET the risks connected with activation of local nosological forms of infections, however the part of each factor in general structure if necessary for the purpose of allocation of important regional and event features have key value, can change that is reached by inclusion additional or an exception of available evaluation criteria (questions). Successful application of a developed method during the work of SAET during the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi determines relevance of its further use.

In the last two decades, numerous studies have been conducted to find sources and explanations for valuecreation and the value drivers of share returns or shareholder value creationby firms. This study aimed to determinewhether more refined firm categorization and an increase in the number of variablesanalyzed would yield more robust information on value creation measures thatfinancial decision-makers can use. Fourdifferent categories of firms were compiled. For each category, 11 different internal performance measures wereregressed against two different external shareholder value creation measures. The empirical results show that differentvalue creation measures explain shareholder value creation best for differentcategories of firms. Economic-basedindicators provide higher information content than accounting-based indicatorsfor financial decision-making. Theinformation content of internal value drivers varied when different externalshareholder value indicators were used. Thisstudy provides financial decision-makers with a more specific indication of theuse of shareholder value creation measures for specific firm types.

The review presents data on application of UV, IR and optical spectroscopy methods for non-specific indication of pathogenic biological agents, and IR Fourier spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy - for their identification. Considered are advantages, disadvantages and prospects of different spectroscopy methods application for monitoring of the environment for the presence of pathogenic biological agents.
