Сurrently Formula Student Motorsport competitions are actively gaining popularity in the world. These competitions are held exclusively for student teams whose goal is to develop, build and test racing cars. Competitions are divided into static and dynamic disciplines. The most important role among these disciplines is played by dynamic ones, which include such tests as: acceleration test, maneuverability, control accuracy, endurance race and energy efficiency. The main tasks of these tests are to pass various types of turns and difficult sections of the route.therefore, to get the best results, it is necessary to complete these tests in the shortest possible time. It is possible to achieve the desired result by achieving the best dynamic performance of the car. One of these problems solved in the design and manufacture of the Formula Student car is the problem of designing cross-stability stabilizers. Degradation phenomena of photovoltaic cells and modules were systematically and in detail studied by observing those exposed outdoors and subjecting those to various indoor acceleration tests. Those degradation phenomena were roughly classified into three categories; less incident light into photovoltaic cells, less collection of photogenerated carriers, and less photovoltaic ability itself. Degradation mechanisms of photovoltaic cells and modules were clarified by microscopic physical and chemical analyses. Based on the mechanisms, it was found that key materials for improving reliability are encapsulants and electrodes. Improvement methods of reliability for photovoltaic cells and modules were also proposed. Prediction of lifetime by indoor acceleration test methods is also important although the prediction is quite difficult using the artificial test methods with only one or two degradation factor(s). Remaining issues of reliability and durability will be also presented.

A lot of buildings and structures in coastline areas facing many issues such as huge number of cracks shown on the wall structures. Moreover, this issue is affecting the aesthetic and the beauty of the buildings. Research discover that reasons behind this problem is concrete corrosion or especially corrosion of steel that causes enormous damage to the structure. This issue starts when the chloride is containing in concrete and due to formation of the oxide film. Rapid chloride permeability test according to ASTM C1202 is performed to study the behavior of different concrete mixes such as normal concrete, concrete with fly ash and concrete with Ground Granulated Blast-furnace slag(GGBFS). In this experiment when the concrete blocks are dipped into the solution, the electric current passes through it in order to determine the permeability of the material. In addition, corrosion acceleration test is performed to observe the electric current flow through the different mixes with different time intervals and days when it is merged to sodium chloride (NaCl). From the rapped chloride permeability test results, it is found that the permeability of chloride of all mixes is categorized as a moderate. From the corrosion acceleration test, it is found that all specimen of concrete containing fly ash had an attack at the first days of the test. A little rust appears on the normal concrete mix in the second week as the magnitude of electric current passing through it was not stable.

Atmospheric contains a variety of gases such as 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% other gases. This causes incomplete combustion. Because the main composition of the combustion process is fueland oxygen. The use of zeolite physically activated by microwave which can increase the quality ofcombustion air. Zeolite is a type of rock that is capable of absorbing (capturing) molecularparticles or angstroms such as water vapor and nitrogen in the air. So that it will produce a richoxygen in the air when entering the combustion chamber. The performance of a 4-stroke motorcycleengine is good if there is a decrease in fuel consumption, it can increase the acceleration, andreduce exhaust emissions containing CO and UHC. To find out the effect of the zeolite filters onengine performance, an acceleration test of 0–80 km / h is performed. Zeolite is activated using amicrowave with 80% power, activation time is 3, 6, and 9 minutes, with gap of 75%. Then zeolitewas activated with 80%, 60%, and 40% power of microwave using 50%, 75%, and 100% gap(varying the gap arrangement of pellets). When the activation time of the filter is 3 minutes, it takes12.54 seconds to conduct, 6.53% faster, the a 6 minutes activation takes 12.58 seconds and 6.19%faster. The greater the activation power, the better acceleration. In the 80% acceleration test, 50%gap can increase the acceleration by a percentage of 6.16%. Meanwhile, the gap of 75% and 100%it can increase the acceleration by 5.64% and 3.86%.Keywords: Zeolite, physical activation, using microwave, increase acceleration
