Endometriosis of genital tract consists a controversial entity arising from current bibliography. Many conducted studies suggested a variety of pathophysiologic mechanisms in order to establish proper diagnosis and treatment. In many cases development of endometrial tissue outside endometrial cavity, can lead to depiction of physical symptomatology with unexpected clinical route. Besides, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia and decrease of fertility capability, endometriosis can infiltrate many intraperitoneal organs such as urine bladder, rectum, or even mesenterium and lungs. Primary bladder endometriosis represents a very rare entity among female reproductive patients. Ultimate scope remains fertility preservation and increase of patient’s quality of life. Aim of our study reflects assiduous diagnosis and depiction of proper therapeutic strategy

Abstract Police work is stressful and can lead to absenteeism, withdrawal, and impaired physical health. However, the stress brought by work can be reduced by effective coping strategies. The aim of our study is to explore the relationship between health and coping strategies of officers in three different units dealing with serious crime (homicide and sexual offences, juvenile crime, and crime scene investigation). The moderating role of work experience in this relationship is also explored. We used the Coping Responses Inventory questionnaire to assess coping strategies and the Pennebaker Inventory of Limbic Languidness to measure physical symptoms. Overall, the sample included 104 respondents. The approach coping strategies prevail among all three units. However, avoidance-coping strategy use is associated with more frequent somatic symptoms (P= 0.005). These are particularly linked to the emotional discharge (P < 0.001), especially in the group of officers with longer years of service (P = 0.01). Still, when this strategy is used rarely or not at all, more experienced officers report fewer symptoms than their younger colleagues. Preventive programmes promoting adaptive coping strategies would benefit police officers since avoidance-coping strategies are linked to more frequent physical symptomatology. More experienced police officers with somatic complaints should be focused on in particular.

Individuals usually benefit from Pokémon Go gaming because this mobile video game provides an attractive opportunity for increased outdoor physical activity and socializing. However, based on prior studies on gaming and electronic media use, excessive Pokémon Go involvement is likely to be related to adverse phenomena such as mental problems (smartphone addiction and phubbing), pain (in neck, arms, and legs), and eye-related problems (dry eye and impaired focusing). We expected that excessive Pokémon Go players would exhibit stronger mental and physical symptomatology. Pokémon Go players (N = 450) completed an online survey reporting Pokémon Go addiction symptoms, smartphone addiction symptoms, phubbing habits, time spent playing Pokémon Go, pain, and eye problems. We also controlled for overall use of other electronic media. We found that individuals with higher levels of Pokémon Go addiction reported more pain and more problems with vision. Increased smartphone addiction and phubbing partially mediated these effects. This study contributes to a balanced perspective on the biopsychosocial outcomes of health behaviors gamification via mobile video games.

The purpose of the articleis to learn about concept of codependency in professional works and the ambiguity of the term «codependency» owing to the connotation with the concept «dependency». Codependence as a relational problem that often, but not necessarily always, occurs in conjunction with addiction or disease. This theme highlights the fact that codependency is defined as a dysfunctional pattern of relating to others, present in relatives of those with different problems. Among them are people in relationships with irresponsible people and chronically ill people; people in relationships with emotionally or mentally disturbed persons; parents of children with behavior problems, professionals of helping professions (nurses, social workers and others). The researches have shown that various factors resulting from repeating stressful circumstances experienced in childhood or adulthood may contribute to this relation. It is characterized by emotional dependence, extreme focus in the other person, and self-neglect. The commoncharacteristics (self-esteem, dependency, depression and anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, and stress-related physical symptomatology),types of codependency (aggressive and passive ones) and stages of it are presented in the article. Regardless of the reason why people become codependent, the negative effects brought about by this cannot be taken for granted. It is essential to know how to handle situations like this, as the inability to overcome and adapt to these problems and other changes may restrain the person from progressing both emotionally and psychologically. It is important that a codependent must gain knowledge on how to effectively get rid of distressful feelings and become bold in the expression of his emotions. Thus, being rejected by society and failing to adjust from predicaments have the ability to interfere individuals from moving forward in their life. These people have a very strong sense of responsibility towards others and even get to the point where they blame themselves for the sufferings of others. Their lives are dependent on that of others and their decisions are influenced by the judgment of others, but not their own opinions.

Introduction ABSTRACT This homoeopathic drug proving was conducted to elucidate the symptomology produced in healthy provers in response to Garcinia cambogia, in the thirtieth potency, so that it may be prescribed according to the Law of Similars. A subsequent comparison was made to those remedies that, on repertorisation, yielded the greatest similarities to the Mental, General and Physical symptomatology of Garcinia cambogia. Objectives It was hypothesized that there would be clearly observable signs and symptoms produced by healthy provers in response to Garcinia cambogia 30CH. Hence the information extrapolated will provide the homoeopathic Materia medica of the substance so that it may be prescribed according to the Law of Similiars. A further hypothesis was made that the comparison between Garcinia cambogia and those remedies that yielded the highest numerical values and total number of rubrics on repertorisation of the proving symptoms would highlight the similarities and differences between the remedy symptoms so that confusion is avoided in the indication of the remedy. It was hypothesized that a greater understanding of Garcinia cambogia and its relationship to other remedies would be recognized as a result of this proving. Methodology A double blind, placebo controlled trial was carried out on 30 healthy, consenting participants whom were randomly divided into two groups, 6 were assigned to the placebo group and 24 to the experimental group. A homoeopathic case history was taken and a physical examination was performed on each prover prior to the commencement of the proving (Appendix D). Provers began recording their signs and symptoms in a blank journal one week prior to the administration of the remedy as a baseline for the proving, they then continued to record while taking the remedy and thereafter following the administration of the remedy for a period of six weeks. On completion of the proving, the data obtained was correlated and evaluated by the two researchers, Ramdiyal and Diplal. The symptoms produced during the proving were interpreted into Materia medica and repertory language, and a homoeopathic depiction of the remedy was subsequently formulated. Thereafter the comparison of the remedies yielding the highest numerical value and total number of rubrics on repertorisation of the proving symptoms was completed. Results 1 An extensive array of symptoms was documented by provers. The results depict an inclination towards the mental- emotional plane. There were often polarity of symptoms and changeability of symptoms. The following were keynote feature: • Anger/irritability vs. calmness/tranquility; • Anxiety vs. calmness in stressful situations; • Depression/sadness vs. cheerfulness; • Confusion vs. concentration/clarity of mind; • Connection vs. disconnection; • Exertion desire vs exertion aversion; • Positivity vs. pessimism Numerous themes arising from dreams were recorded by provers, with some notable signs of danger and life-threatening circumstances. The main physical symptoms that surfaced were; feelings of dizziness, excessive weakness or extreme desire for activity, headaches of a pounding, hammering nature. There was also abdominal discomfort, seen in distension, burning sensations and flatus. There was ravenous hunger or complete loss of it and an unquenchable thirst, especially for cold drinks. Allergy-type symptoms also arose. Patients documented excessive sneezing, coryza, itchy eyes, lachrymation and dry itchy throat. Sleeplessness at night with excessive sleepiness during the day was evident. There were strong cravings for chocolate, pizza and alcohol. The comparison between the homoeopathic drug proving of Garcinia cambogia 30CH and the repertorisation of remedies brought many similarities to light, with most of these similarities relating to the mind, head and nose. Conclusion The proving of Garcinia cambogia 30CH did produce well defined symptoms that were clearly observed in healthy provers as proposed by the hypothesis. As hypothesized the comparison of Garcinia cambogia to remedies of repertorial similarity did highlight similarities and differences between existing homoeopathic remedies and Garcinia cambogia 30CH thereby clarifying the therapeutic range of this new remedy and its relative location in the Materia medica.

Acupuncture is an intensive and holistic therapy that enhances the quality of life of psychosomatic patients. It helps to slow or reverse the process whereby anxiety, depression and other forms of psychological distress are transformed into physical symptomatology. This process, termed “somatisation”, is little understood in Western medicine, although it is implicated in many of the cases seen in general medical practice. Traditional Chinese medicine provides an explanation of how endogenous factors encompassing negative emotions and psychosocial stress can generate illness. This paper specifies acupuncture points and procedures to be used in managing general psychosomatic illness, as well as controlling the severe distress experienced by some psychosomatic patients.
