Abstract Non-thermal radio emission is detected in the region of the gamma-ray source FHES J1723.5 − 0501. The emission has an approximately circular shape 0.8○ in diameter. The observations confirm its nature as a new supernova remnant, We derive constraints on the source parameters using the radio data and gamma-ray observations of the region. The distance to the object is possibly in the range 1.4–3.5 kpc. An SNR age of the order of 10 kyr is compatible with the radio and GeV features, but an older or younger SNR cannot be ruled out. A simple one-zone leptonic model naturally explains the multi-wavelength non-thermal fluxes of the source at its location outside the Galactic plane.

Grain before feeding to animals exposed to grinding with the purpose of increasing its digestibility. As a result of this increases the area of interaction of the feed with the gastric juice and decreases the conversion coefficient. Surface theory formulated by German scientist Rittinger, suggests that the work of AR required for the grinding process is directly proportional to newly formed surface. The purpose of this paper is a theoretical evaluation of the intensity of grinding with the use of sieves with rectangular and circular shape holes. When getting groats with the same grinding module by the use of sieves with holes of rectangular shape, one should expect the decrease of specific energy intensity. By reducing the content of dust-like fractions and reduce the total surface feed should be expected to reduce the energy intensity of pneumo transportation.

Abstract The development of spintronic devices in the magnetic memories industry has attracted researchers over decades. Therefore, researchers are trying to obtain materials which compatible to improve device performance. These materials are made in the form of thin layer. Cerium-iron-boron (Ce-Fe-B) alloy is one of potential materials to be applied for magnetic devices. In this study, the nucleation changes in the Ce-Fe-B thin layer were analyzed using circular and rectangular shapes. This phenomenon was observed through micromagnetic simulations. The magnetic moment stability of Ce-Fe-B was analyzed based on the response of the magnetic moment towards the presence of an external magnetic field. The magnitude of applied external magnetic applied is 0.4 Tesla in x-axis direction. Changes in the arrangement of magnetic moments due to external magnetic fields produce magnetization and anisotropy energy value which describing the characteristics of the Ce-FeB thin layer. Magnetization value of Ce-Fe-B thin film in circular shape was greather than rectangular shape. These value was 0.98 for circular shape and 0.93 for rectangular shape. On the other hand, anisotropy energy value on magnetic external apllied 400 mT, circular shape anisotropy energy’s value of Ce-Fe-B was 4.85×10-18 J, and 6.71×10-18 J for rectangular shape.

AbstractSize is a fundamental quantity of magnetic skyrmions. A magnetic skyrmion can be a local circular object and in an isolated form. A skyrmion can also coexist with a group of its siblings in a condensed phase. Each skyrmion in a condensed phase takes a stripe shape at low skyrmion density and a circular shape at high skyrmion density. Skyrmions at high density form a skyrmion crystal (SkX). So far, skyrmion size in an SkX has not been seriously studied. Here, by using a generic chiral magnetic film, it is found that skyrmion size in an SkX has a different parameter dependence as those for isolated skyrmions and stripes. A size formula and a good spin profile for skyrmions in SkXs are proposed. These findings have important implications in searching for stable smaller skyrmions at the room temperature.

Dielectric electroactive polymers have been widely used in recent applications based on smart materials. The many advantages of dielectric membranes, such as softness and responsiveness to electric stimuli, have lead to their application in actuators. Recently, researchers have aimed to improve the design of dielectric electroactive polymer actuators. The modifications of DEAP actuators are designed to change the bias mechanism, such as spring, pneumatic, and additional mass, or to provide a double cone configuration. In this work, the modification of the shape of the actuator was analyzed. In the standard approach, a circular shape is often used, while this research uses an elliptical shape for the actuator. In this study, it was shown that this construction allows a wider range of movement. The paper describes a new design of the device and its model. Further, the device is verified by the measurements.

Children are the future successors of the nation who must be equipped with supporting knowledge and education. One of the factors that influence the development of children are children’s creativity. Creativity is important for children because creativity is useful as a human need to be creative, creativity allows children to express themselves and thoughts in solving problem and many more. Creativity activities in schools are limited, namely 4-5 hours due to strict curriculum (Kemendikbud, 2012). The facilities that support the development of children's creativity in Pontianak is quite limited. This condition shows that Pontianak needs facilities that support the development of children's creativity, namely the Child Creativity Center in Pontianak. The design method starts from identifying the problem by looking at the issues, data collecting consists of primary data and secondary data, and then the data is analyzed which produced pre design drawing. The emphasis on the design is child-friendly which includes aspects of safety, comfort, freedom and stimulates children's potential. This concept produces a mass building design with a circular shape that has been transformed. The use of the right colors, shapes, materials and dimensions is the core of the design of the Children's Creativity Center in Pontianak.
