We treat the lattice sine-Gordon equation and two of its generalised symmetries as a compatible system. Elimination of shifts from the two symmetries of the lattice sine-Gordon equation yields an integrable NLS-type system. An auto-Bäcklund transformation and a superposition formula for the NLS-type system is obtained by elimination of shifts from the lattice sine-Gordon equation and its down-shifted version. We use the obtained formulae to calculate a superposition of two and three elementary solutions.

The article provides the issues of improving the models of reliability and optimization of maintenance and repair of special self-propelled rolling stock (SPRS) with a compatible system of diagnostics. A new maintenance strategy is proposed, taking into account the new requirements of the self-propelled rolling stock. Examples of solving practical problems of reliability indices are considered. The study of the reliability of SPRS, as an object, is advisable to start with its presentation in the form of a system of assembly units. In this sense, the level of consideration is important. Figure 1 gives a structural diagram of SPRS, as a system consisting of elements. for several possible levels of consideration. SPRS, as a system of elements, makes it possible to concretize the task of analyzing and improving the reliability model and developing measures to perfect it.

Permissible medicine “Halalopathy” represents a compatible relation between therapeutic drug and human beliefs/lifestyles. Production of permissible drugs is achieved by evaluating ingredients and monitoring the production process to be compatible with a certain specific standard depending on the requirement of the lifestyle or belief of the patient. If drugs and beliefs are compatible, a domino chain effect will be initiated; trust will be developed, and the placebo effect will be activated. Consequently, a compatible system between mind and drug is established, faith in the treatment is intensified, entropy is lowered, potential energy is increased, and self-assurance is enriched. The compatibility concept is based on finding a connection between human’s belief and therapeutic drug where certain genes will be turned off epigenetically. Halalopathic medicine represents a new therapeutic concept in which holistic values - material, human, moral and spiritual values - are used to deliver the right treatment to the right patient.

The first development of an external oxidant-compatible system involving a phosphorus(III)-directed C–H functionalization has been uncovered. An efficient C–H esterification of indoles with CO and alcohols has been reported in which the high reactivity and the exclusive C7-selectivity derives from the selection of a P(III)–directing group and the utilization of benzoquinone as an external oxidant with palladium catalysis. This strategy shows many advantages, involving an easily accessible and removable directing group, the use of cheap carbonylation sources, a broad substrate scope, and excellent positional selectivity. Two cyclopalladated intermediates were confirmed by x-ray analysis, uncovering key mechanistic features of this P(III)-directed C–H metalation event.

At the beginning of the 21st century the greek pig industry has to face new challenges. Its frustrating position today is the result of lack of programming and clear targets, as a consequence of false decisions by almost all implicated authorities. Moreover, modern consumer's demand for high quality hygienically certified pork meat and the extremely competitive environment of the European Union necessitate the uptake of measures for the survival of the greek pig industry. It is essential to implement a legislatively consolidated on farm veterinary management programme in all greek industrial pig farms under full supervision and responsibility of the authorized veterinarian of every farm. As support to this programme, it is also important to follow the rules of a veterinary protection-biosecurity programme and to use an on farm HACCP compatible system. In this way it will be possible to produce high health status slaughter pigs. The on farm veterinary management programme will significantly contribute, in coordination with all the other responsible authorities (meat inspectors, public health veterinarians etc.), to the production of high quality hygienically certified pork meat, which is mostly preferred by Greek and European consumers. Furthermore, the implementation of an on farm veterinary management programme in all greek industrial pig farms will extensively assist to the improvement of the greek pig industry's competitiveness and productivity, the protection of public health and of the environment. If all responsible authorities take the appropriate actions, there will be an opportunity for the greek pig industry to survive under the current conditions. Finally, the consumer will see his demands for high quality hygienically certified pork meat to fulfilled after the application of all appropriate measures that will secure the production procedures of pork meat from «the stable to the table».
