Cloud computing has received increasing interest from enterprises since its inception. With its innovative information technology (IT) services delivery model, cloud computing could add technical and strategic business value to enterprises. However, cloud computing poses highly concerning internal (e.g., Top management and experience) and external issues (e.g., regulations and standards). This paper presents a systematic literature review to explore the current key issues related to cloud computing adoption. This is achieved by reviewing 15 articles published about cloud computing adoption. Using the grounded theory approach, articles are classified into eight main categories: internal, external, evaluation, proof of concept, adoption decision, implementation and integration, IT governance, and confirmation. Then, the eight categories are divided into two abstract categories: cloud computing adoption factors and processes, where the former affects the latter. The results of this review indicate that enterprises face serious issues before they decide to adopt cloud computing. Based on the findings, the paper provides a future information system (research agenda to explore the previously under-investigated areas regarding cloud computing adoption factors and processes. This paper calls for further theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions to the research area of cloud computing adoption by enterprise.

Cloud computing is an architecture for facilitating computing service through the internet on requirement and pay per use access to a group of shared resources namely networks, storage, servers, services and applications, without physically acquiring them Cloud DBMS is a distributed database that gives computing as a service. It is sharing of web infrastructure for resources, software and information over a network. The cloud is used as a storage location and database can be accessed and computed from anywhere. In this paper I have discussed about cloud and its use. How we can implement cloud for better performance and different benefits and drawbacks of cloud which we can improve in future Cloud computing has received increasing interest from enterprises since its inception. Survey research design of the correlational type was employed for this study using stratified random sampling to select two hundred and forty-five (245) respondents. The research instrument which was a structured questionnaire was tagged Adoption Factors and Usage Evaluation of Electronic medical record systems System Success. A total of 222 copies research questionnaire were filled and returned. A statistical package for social science application was used in analysing the results of the research using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient for hypotheses one and two, and multiple regression analysis for the hypotheses three and four. The result from the study revealed that there was a positive significant correlation between adoption factors and EMRS systems’ success (r= 0.440) and there was a strong positive correlation between usage evaluation and system success of EMRS in the two healthcare facilities (r= 0.618). More so, findings showed that adoption factors jointly and significantly affect EMRS system success with coefficient of 0.648, and a multiple R square of 0.420. And there was also a relative contribution of adoption factors (β = 0.215) and usage evaluation (0.526) on EMRS success. The study concludes that electronic medical record systems have become a standard for every healthcare facility for improvement in the efficiency and profitability of the organisations. The study therefore recommends that, all healthcare facilities in Nigeria should adopt the electronic medical record systems, and all healthcare providers should be given thorough training on the use of EMRS.

This study evaluates factors influencing the adoption of telecommuting among the selected organisations in Nigeria. A questionnaire research tool was used basically to capture the level of awareness, interest, readiness, and perception of Nigerian organisations towards telecommuting. A total of 180 questionnaires was administered to 180 Nigerian firms in Lagos, 120 questionnaires were counted valid for analysis. This study observed high level of awareness among Nigerian organisations but paradoxically, this high level of awareness does not engender the adoption of telecommuting by those organisations. Findings revealed that the fright of difficulty in assessing employees’ performance, inadequacy of ICT infrastructures and the fear of corporate data theft are the key factors inhibiting the adoption of telecommuting by organisations. This study concluded there is a need for organisations to be aware of the benefits of telecommuting and how telecommuting policy can be devised to strategically fit into the work culture for productivity. Keywords: Telecommuting; Public Research Institutes, Adoption, Factors, Lagos.

Industry 4.0 technologies represent a new paradigm of integration of cyber-physical systems, information and communication solutions, with applications in many different domains. This topic has to date been vaguely explored in the realm of the social sciences; hence this study attempts to bridge this gap by investigating the challenges of innovation adoption, based on I4.0 technologies, more specifically the factors affecting adoption decisions. This paper, based on previous adoption literature, aims to identify the barriers and benefits generated in the Supply Chain. Given the nature and novelty of the technology, whose adoption is the primary theme of this study, a systematic literature review was developed. The results present a framework that connects adoption factors, enabling technologies of I4.0, and benefits to the Supply Chain. The Model can be easily adapted to serve as a tool in the evaluation and selection of technological innovations to be adopted.
