Cloud computing has received increasing interest from enterprises since its inception. With its innovative information technology (IT) services delivery model, cloud computing could add technical and strategic business value to enterprises. However, cloud computing poses highly concerning internal (e.g., Top management and experience) and external issues (e.g., regulations and standards). This paper presents a systematic literature review to explore the current key issues related to cloud computing adoption. This is achieved by reviewing 15 articles published about cloud computing adoption. Using the grounded theory approach, articles are classified into eight main categories: internal, external, evaluation, proof of concept, adoption decision, implementation and integration, IT governance, and confirmation. Then, the eight categories are divided into two abstract categories: cloud computing adoption factors and processes, where the former affects the latter. The results of this review indicate that enterprises face serious issues before they decide to adopt cloud computing. Based on the findings, the paper provides a future information system (research agenda to explore the previously under-investigated areas regarding cloud computing adoption factors and processes. This paper calls for further theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions to the research area of cloud computing adoption by enterprise.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, sports media consumption is migrating toward streaming. The online streaming of sporting events has become the important way of copyrights holders to engage sports fans, especially young fans. Therefore, it is vital to understanding users' willingness to pay (WTP). Given that previous studies of the livestream sports broadcasts online have not dealt with users' payment intention, the originality of this study is that it explore users' motivation by combining information system research with the consumer demand theory. The study aimed to examine the factors that influence users' payment intention to stream online sports by using the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Data from questionnaires completed by 330 Chinese respondents determined how perceived usefulness, ease, enjoyment, and satisfaction, influence users' WTP. Satisfaction positively correlated with users' payment intentions, impacted WTP values, mediated ease of use. The analysis also revealed the necessity for broadcast platforms to improve satisfaction and to increase payment intentions.

PurposeAs information systems (IS) phenomena continue to emerge and evolve in our ever-changing economic and social contexts, researchers need to increase their focus on time in order to enrich our theories. The purpose of this paper is to present broad suggestions for IS researchers about how they can direct some of their research efforts to consider, conceptualize and incorporate time into research endeavors and how they might be mindful about considering and specifying time-related scope conditions of their research efforts.Design/methodology/approachThe authors synthesize empirical studies and discuss three distinct yet related frameworks of time and the benefits they can provide. The authors choose two research streams that reflect dynamic economic and social contexts – namely, enterprise systems and social networks – to illustrate how time and frameworks of time can be leveraged in our theory development and research design.FindingsThe authors demonstrate that limited research in IS has incorporated a rich conceptualization and/or discussion of time. The authors build on this gap to highlight guidelines that researchers can adopt to enrich their view of time.Originality/valueGiven the dynamic nature of IS phenomena and the increased availability of longitudinal data, the authors’ suggestions aim to urge and guide IS researchers about ways in which they can incorporate time into their theory and study designs.

Information privacy has attracted considerable attention in the information system research field. However, little effort has been made to review its latest developments from a marketing perspective. As research on consumer privacy advances rapidly, a comprehensive evaluation of the field is required. In this paper, two bibliographic databases retrieved from Web of Science were used to perform a series of bibliometric analyses consisting of co-citation analysis, co-occurring keyword analysis, and structural variation analysis. To facilitate these analyses, we use the software CiteSpace. Our results present the existing literature’s publication performance, thematic concentration, intellectual turning points and influential studies, and identify emerging trends in the literature. We found that a number of landmark studies has greatly affected the development of the consumer privacy research. Most importantly, this study proposes a research agenda for the field. Recent emerging topics focusing on privacy calculus, privacy ethic, privacy enhancing technologies, privacy-related coping strategies, and new contemporary privacy contexts should be further discussed in the future research.

The research aims to overcome the problem of managing customer data, room data, and transaction data manually at Hotel Fergael. The management of customer data, room data and transaction data that are processed manually, is overcome by building a Front Office Information System for hotel room reservations at Hotel Fergael. The results of the Front Office Information System research for hotel room reservations at the Fergael Hotel can be done quickly, effectively and efficiently at the receptionist's work time, making reports can also assist managers in seeing reservations that have or have occurred at the Fergael Hotel. The system is designed in the form of Visual Basic and uses a MySQL database. With this research, the receptionist can expedite the activities that run at the Fergael Hotel, especially room input, customer input, and room reservations that occur at the Fergael Hotel Pematangsiantar. Information systems, as an emerging discipline which is dynamic and interdisciplinary, is constantly undergoing rapid changes; therefore, one of the most critical issues is to study the topics and methodological trends in this field. This study aimed to thoroughly investigate the topics and methodologies used in information system throughout a twelve-year period (2007-2018). In the present study, all the articles published in the top eight information system journals were investigated based on their topics and methodologies using a literature analysis approach, and the most common topics and methodologies in such studies were then detected. The main topics addressed in this filed were electronic commerce/business, information system research, and IS usage/adoption, and the survey was the dominant research methodology in this regard. Furthermore, an increase in the use of the mathematical models indicates that more accurate quantitative research methods have made this field more mature. The research findings also show that the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, social media, bitcoin and block chain, digital transformation, sharing economy, digital platform, methodology of machine learning, data mining, and text mining are the main research topics and methods which should be further studied.

ABSTRAK Kopi Trabas merupakan toko yang bergerak di bidang penjualan kopi yang masih memerlukan adanya perluasan wilayah dalam penjualan dan pemasaran produk yang disediakan baik untuk pelanggan didalam kota Bengkulu maupun diluar Bengkulu. Untuk promosi produk yang dijual pada Kopi Trabas saat ini hanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan Banner dan pencatatan transaksi pada toko ini juga masih bersifat manual sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan dalam pencatatan juga memungkinkan adanya kehilangan data. Pada saat ini cara pembelian pada toko Kopi Trabas adalah pelanggan secara langsung ke toko untuk melihat dan memesan produk yang disediakan. Dengan membangun sistem informasi penjualan berbasis webs pada Kopi Trabas maka dapat membantu toko dan pelanggan dalam melakukan transaksi jual beli, juga dapat membantu perusahaan mempromosikan produk melalui internet. Metode perancangan menggunakan pemodelan DFD (Data Flow Diagram). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa perancangan sistem penjualan berbasis web yang dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik oleh pemilik guna mempromosikan produk dan melakukan transaksi jual beli secara mudah kepada pelanggan dan online. Kata Kunci: Sistem Penjualan berbasis web, DFD (Data Flow Diagram.ABSRACT Kopi Trabas is an store that provides gadgets which requires an expansion on sales and promotion of its products for customer inside and outside Bengkulu. Kopi Trabasis still using Banner for its promotion and the recording transaction are still manual so it is likely to make a mistake and a data loss. At the time, the way of purchase at Kopi Trabas are the customer directly came into the store to see and ordering products that are provided by the store. By developing a web-based sales information system on the Kopi Trabas is, it would help the store and the customer on making transactions and helps the store to promote the store’s products over the internet. The system is using DFD (Data Flow Diagram). The results of web-based sales information system research could be implemented and be a good use for the store on promoting its product and easily making transactions to the customers online.Keywords: Web-based sales information systems, DFD (Data Flow Diagram).

AbstrakSIMPPM atau Sistem Informasi Manajemen Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan sistem yang dikembangkan oleh DPPM Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Sistem ini menampung proposal penelitian dan pengabdian dosen seluruh universitas muhammadiyah malang. Reviewer dalam menilai suatu proposal masih kesulitan untuk mengetahui apakah proposal yang diajukan itu sudah atau pernah diajukan, sehingga reviewer tidak tahu nilai originalitas dari proposal yang diajukan. Algoritma Biword Winnowing digunakan untuk mencari fingerprint dari dokumen proposal yang ada dalam sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma tersebut untuk mencari nilai kemiripan proposal satu dengan lainnya, sehingga setting algoritma Biword Winnowing yang baik perlu untuk dicari guna untuk meningkatkan nilai akurasi. Hasil akurasi dengan algoritma ini dibandingkan dengan aplikasi Plagiarism Checker X sebagai ukuran akurasi dari Algoritma Biword Winnowing.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai window dan basis sangat mempengaruhi hasil akhir similarity.Abstract SIMPPM or Management Information System Research and Community Service is a system developed by DPPM University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This system accommodates research proposal and dedication of all university lecturers muhammadiyah malang. The reviewer in assessing a proposal is still difficult to know whether the proposed proposal has been or has been submitted, so the reviewer does not know the originality of the proposed proposal. The Biword Winnowing algorithm is used to find the fingerprint of the proposed documents in the system. This research uses the algorithm to find the value of similarity of proposal with one another, so setting a good Biword Winnowing algorithm needs to be searched in order to increase accuracy value. The result of accuracy with this algorithm is compared with Plagiarism Checker X application as accuracy measure from Biword Winnowing Algorithm. The test result shows that the value of window and base greatly affect the final result of similarity.
