One of the key components of U.S.-China strategic competition is the technology war, the essence and implications of which can be further understood in the broader context of the international division of labor and the two countries' internal contradictions. From this front, we can decipher the antagonism between different classes/groups within and across the two countries.

As an emerging mobile computing technology, mobile edge computing is an important key technology to improve the computing services of mobile devices. This paper mainly studies the balance of international trade algorithm based on the principle of moving edge computing ownership. In order to obtain all the data needed to perform the task, each mobile device can exchange data information with its connected base station through the wireless network. On the basis of satisfying the quality of service of users, including considering the user connection and service configuration, the network energy consumption is minimized in continuous t period by shutting down some servers whose resources are not fully utilized. At the same time, in order to reduce the switching cost of edge server and ensure the stability of service, frequent switching of edge server should be avoided. At the beginning, there is division of labor economy. With the development of specialized production, the degree of international division of labor is increasing due to the effect of experience accumulation. The trade efficiency is growing endogenously. The international division of labor is further deepened, and the types and quantity of products participating in the international division of labor are greatly increased, so as to realize the upgrading of trade structure. Before constructing the structural VAR model of Bti, R/W, K/L, and TFP, we need to test its stationarity. Using Eviews 5.0 software, ADF test and PP test were carried out on the unit root of BTI, r/ w , K/L, and TFP time series data. With the increase of user task arrival rate, the average time revenue increases continuously. However, when the arrival rate is greater than 3 kbit/slot, the average time revenue increases slowly. The results show that the research results in system model and resource optimization algorithm will provide reliable theoretical and technical support for the practical application of mobile edge computing.

AbstractWe assess the expected long-run consequences of the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic and use these as a platform to argue that international business (IB) as a field should expand its research agenda to study the international division of labor. The worldwide response to the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the shift toward the de-globalization of capital, but it will also speed up the move to a stronger globalization of labor. This paradoxical, simultaneous occurrence of de-globalization and globalization offers rich opportunities for future IB research.

Peru has become one of the most affected and infected countries by COVID-19. The expansion of the virus could not be contained by a complete lockdown and a state of emergency. In this article we discuss the principal conditions for the expansion of the new coronavirus in Peru and examine what part of the population is most affected and infected by the virus. We find that Peru’s role in the international division of labor, the country’s company structure, high levels of informality, and the general use of temporary contracts are the structural conditions on which the expansion of COVID-19 in Peru rests. This article shows that the laboring classes are the principally infected and affected by the new coronavirus. The Peruvian neoliberal development model has been responsible for the government’s limitation to implement measures according the country’s social and economic structure that might have contained the expansion of COVID-19.

This work analyzes the development in World-System Theory as produced by the flow of appropriation of global surplus value through the international division of labor, creating the divisions between center, semiperiphery and periphery in the capitalist world-economy. It thus aims to explore how the global appropriation of surplus value in the capitalist world-economy produces variations in the level of development of its different regions. To this end, it contextualizes and conceptualizes its elements on its spatial and temporal dimensions. It defines surplus value and the form of its global accumulation, and in this sense explores the succession of capitalist hegemonies, in their dialectical relationship with the system's progress, enabling the approach to the international division of labor, and how the monopoly over finance and technologies allows the center of the system to consolidate a structure that ensures the transfer of capital and surplus value from the other regions to it. It follows that the development of a particular country or region in the capitalist world-economy depends on its ability to accumulate surplus value globally. Additionally, it is observed that the conditions imposed by the system structure prevent initiatives of autonomous development by its parts, being necessary to break with them for such a project to be possible

In modern conditions of the development of the fishery complex (FC), the key task of increasing the efficiency of its work is associated with improving management, which includes the introduction of new organizational forms. This article examines a set of management structures adopted in the Russian economy, and this set is considered from the point of view of the potential possibilities of their application for solving industry problems. Particular attention in this article is paid to platform policy, including the prospects for its application for the participation of the FC in the international division of labor and trade and industrial cooperation.
