<p>The purpose of this article is to know the management and policies based on the regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 24 of 2007 relating to facilities and infrastructure for elementary schools. The method used is a literature study because it evaluates Indonesian education standards, particularly facilities and infrastructure in elementary schools. The results showed that the standard of facilities and infrastructure was still categorized as low because schools with complete facilities were only for schools with good accreditation; conversely, schools with good accreditation did not have complete facilities. The geographic area is the influence of each school. The geographic area of each school influences each school’s geographic area for the standard of financing for facilities and infrastructure in elementary schools.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0520/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

This study is to determine the effect of physical activity on students' emotional quotient. The research method that used is the psychology of emotional quotient, and experimental methods. The results of data calculations, the significance value indicates the number 0.001 <0.05. It shows that there is a significant increase in the emotional quotient of children that are treated by using physical activity. Physical activity that developed at school influences children's emotional quotient. In developing maximum achievement and learning outcomes in school, emotional quotient that possessed by a student is a critical determinant of student success that must be owned. Emotional quotient is very important in the success of life, in this case the success that is emphasized is in life at school. Physical activity that developed in this study has an impact on increasing of children's emotional quotient.

Smoking habit usually started at adolescence. The decision to start smoking is heavily influenced by one’s surroundings, both school and family. Adolescents in general are in their school phase, so that most of their times are spent at school. Hence, school environment greatly influences one’s personality, including one’s decision to smoke. It has been decided that school is a non-smoking zone. Each school, either public or private, has put some surveillances on their students, particularly in terms of smoking. Each school conducts its own surveillance method. This difference shall shape different peer circumstance for each adolescent. This research aims to discover whether certain school type (from primary to high school) influences adolescent’s initial smoking age, without ignoring the smoking habit in one’s family (parental-habit transformation). This research employs a survey method. The survey is conducted randomly to 500 respondents from 18 years old to 23 years old. It is also found out that family’s smoking habit and mother’s educational background significantly influence the adolescent’s initial smoking age.
