Kelompok Rajut Sejahtera atau Kelompok Ratra yang berdiri pada tahun 2016 merupakan kelompok ibu rumah tangga istri pensiunan tentara yang gemar merajut. Bertempat tinggal di perumahan tentara Kotabaru Yogyakarta, kelompok Ratra telah mengikuti beberapa kegiatan pembinaan untuk pelatihan merajut produk seperti tas, dompet, dan sepatu yang bertujuan menambah pengetahuan dan pemasukan keluarga. Pemasaran produk sudah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2019, namun hasil penjualan belum baik dikarenakan adanya persaingan produk sejenis di pasaran. Di tahun 2021 ini, tim UKDW memfasilitasi kelompok Ratra dalam berinovasi desain dan menemukan karakter produk rajut untuk bersaing dalam pemasaran serta membuka pangsa pasar baru yang belum banyak dibuat oleh kompetitor sejenis, khususnya menghadapi situasi pandemik ini. Melalui pendampingan workshop, kelompok Ratra diperkenalkan dengan inovasi desain produk seperti bentukbentuk produk tableware, home decoration, serta aksesoris berukuran kecil yang cepat dibuat dan dibutuhkan dalam keseharian calon konsumen. Pendampingan difokuskan pada workshop kreativitas sekaligus penemuan ciri khas produk Ratra agar lebih cepat dikenal dan disukai konsumen. Adapun workshop yang diberikan antara lain perancangan kemasan, prinsip-prinsip desain, pemahaman tutorial desain rajut berbahasa Inggris, serta pengenalan alternatif material rajut dan penerapannya. Hasil utama dari pendampingan ini adalah penambahan wawasan pengetahuan varian produk rajut serta membangun peluang pasar baru dengan pengembangan jenis produk kelompok Ratra.

Raja Profile is a shop that provides various types of furniture or light wood, reliefs, mild steel, decorative decorations, wallpapers. In running this home decoration business, Raja Profil store has not utilized e-commerce system technology to support the marketing process. Raja Profil still sells directly in the store every day. Therefore, it is often a problem for buyers who are far away to go directly to the Raja Profil shop. The purpose of this service is to implement an e-commerce website that we have built at the Raja Profil store which functions to promote and sell interior tools in the Raja Profil store. The method used in making the e-commerce system is the waterfall method. The result of using e-commerce at the Raja Profil store is to provide broader services to customers and provide convenience and accuracy for managers and owners in doing marketing, and calculating sales.

The interweaving of Arabic calligraphy letters is a combination of artistic art. Arabic calligraphy is giving rise to aspects of visual beauty that can be enjoyed and created a sense of joy. It can encourage people to get closer to Allah, love for goodness, nobility, and so on. Arabic calligraphy is infused into the hearts of those who see, by the meaning of the text. Apart from being a form of reception for one of the verses in the Koran, namely in the verse al-Kursī, calligraphy has developed in various forms and includes various functions and fields that are indirectly connected with the text of the Quran. Starting from the context of the Koran alone, and the spiritual substance of the Koran that continues to live in all aspects of traditional Islamic calligraphy. Calligraphy is also the choice of Muslims in Central Java to decorate the walls of their homes. The choice of calligraphy to decorate the walls of the house is based on various reasons, ranging from aesthetic, religious, to magical reasons. This research was conducted to conduct a more in-depth analysis of the Central Javanese people's reception of Arabic calligraphy as a home decoration and to analyze the reasons for choosing Arabic calligraphy as a home wall decoration for the Muslim community of Central Java. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. The data collection technique is done using documentation techniques, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The questionnaire was created using a combination open and closed question model for all groups of respondents. Data analysis in this study used statistical calculations on respondents' answers to the questionnaire, which were analyzed qualitatively. The research subjects were the Muslim community in Central Java, totaling 164 adults. When viewed from the gender of the respondents, 91 people (or 55% of respondents) were male, and 73 people (or 45% of respondents) were female. Calligraphy is a medium for conveying religious messages through language. The language chosen is a significant or straightforward language that is easy to understand or understand in sentences. The writing style displays beautiful shapes so that the type of style that is elastic or flexible and easy to create is chosen to make a beautiful impression, namely the tsutust and naskhiy types. The artistic expression that most strongly displays the substance of calligraphy is the traditional expression that has been chosen as an artistic expression. Figural and expressionist forms of expression were chosen because of their role in providing new nuances of free calligraphic expression

The Karo traditional house is one of the cultural heritages in North Sumatra Province. The Karo tribe, is one of the largest tribes. Karo Regency is located on a plateau called Tanah Karo, with a cool climate. It has its own language called cakap Karo, and has Karo script. An area of ??2,127.25 square kilometers with a population of 959,000. The Karo tribe comes with simplicity manifested in an attractive and magnificent traditional house. The Karo traditional house is called Siwalauh Jabu (eight families live in it) The process and life of its inhabitants are arranged in a way. Decorative ornaments in traditional Karo houses are called "carvings." Home decoration patterns are made and placed in the house building with the meanings and values ??of beliefs that are regulated from generation to generation. The color application consists of red, green, black and yellow. Karo traditional houses contain high value and visual decorations built by nature and inspired by fauna and flora, among others, "Lipan nangkih" "bunga lawang" or "flower gateway". This study aims to reveal the patterns and colors of the Karo tribe in house buildings. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The techniques used to analyze are data analysis, data reduction, and reports. The results of the research are the results of a study of the Karo traditional house decoration and its conservation efforts

Indonesia consists of diverse cultures that have interesting backgrounds. One of them is Javanese culture which until now can be seen through one of them is decorative ornaments from several old houses in the Kotagede area of Jogjakarta. Traditional artists express aesthetic values and communicate messages through the design of house ornaments. This research attempts to read the message implied through home decoration in Kotagede, Jogjakarta with the semiotic method. When traditional artists make decorative ornaments, it seems he is giving a message through visual images or carving. This message seems to originate from their view of life as a result of their interaction with the environment which gives them a way to not only survive but also develop.
