Early life periconceptional exposures during assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures could alter the DNA methylation profiles of ART children, notably in imprinted genes and repetitive elements. At the genome scale, DNA methylation differences have been reported in ART conceptions at birth, but it is still unclear if those differences remain at childhood. Here, we performed an epigenome-wide DNA methylation association study using Illumina InfiniumEPIC BeadChip to assess the effects of the mode of conception on the methylome of buccal cells from 7- to 8-year-old children (48 children conceived after ART or naturally (control, CTL)) and according to the embryo culture medium in which they were conceived. We identified 127 differentially methylated positions (DMPs) and 16 differentially methylated regions (DMRs) (FDR < 0.05) with low delta beta differences between the two groups (ART vs. CTL). DMPs were preferentially located inside promoter proximal regions and CpG islands and were mostly hypermethylated with ART. We highlighted that the use of distinct embryo culture medium was not associated with DNA methylation differences in childhood. Overall, we bring additional evidence that children conceived via ART display limited genome-wide DNA methylation variation compared with those conceived naturally.

AbstractGlasses-free three-dimensional (3D) displays are one of the game-changing technologies that will redefine the display industry in portable electronic devices. However, because of the limited resolution in state-of-the-art display panels, current 3D displays suffer from a critical trade-off among the spatial resolution, angular resolution, and viewing angle. Inspired by the so-called spatially variant resolution imaging found in vertebrate eyes, we propose 3D display with spatially variant information density. Stereoscopic experiences with smooth motion parallax are maintained at the central view, while the viewing angle is enlarged at the periphery view. It is enabled by a large-scale 2D-metagrating complex to manipulate dot/linear/rectangular hybrid shaped views. Furthermore, a video rate full-color 3D display with an unprecedented 160° horizontal viewing angle is demonstrated. With thin and light form factors, the proposed 3D system can be integrated with off-the-shelf purchased flat panels, making it promising for applications in portable electronics.

This paper presents an in-depth study and analysis of human action recognition in dancesport video images through chaotic system equations. A novel fractional-order chaotic system model with hidden multistability is constructed. Since this fractional-order chaotic system has no equilibrium point, the equilibrium point stability analysis is not required. The effect of system parameters on the multistability characteristics of the fractional-order chaotic system is investigated in depth by using the control variable method and nonlinear dynamic tools. In addition, the system has a special property of offset incremental control, which makes the system more widely and practically useful in engineering applications. Finally, circuit simulation experiments and hardware circuit experiments are conducted for the fractional-order chaotic system, and the results are consistent with the corresponding theoretical analysis. The system architecture of the mobile augmented reality-based ethnic dynamic art display system is designed, and the system architecture adopts a hierarchical design. The experimental results show that the design method of the mobile augmented reality-based dynamic art display system proposed in this thesis can meet the purpose of expanding the ways of dancesport display, and the system designed in this thesis is customizable and the synthesized images have a high sense of realism.

Implication Statement We require our medical students to create art as part of a core course. Projects have historically been displayed at our health sciences library. During a rapid adjustment to virtual teaching at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, using Instagram to hold a virtual art show was a quickly implemented alternative. With student consent, course directors posted different artwork every weekday for eight weeks to a course account. By capitalizing on the visual strengths and extensive reach of the Instagram platform, we promoted our medical students’ talents both locally and nationally. We plan to use Instagram and in-person displays in the future.

Museums can no longer pretend to be mere containers of art or other cultural treasures; their fascinating legacy for posterity is definitely not just the respective collection, but also its idiosyncratic articulation and ulterior resignification. This essay surveys sifting trends in the re-staging of modern museographies; but instead of using New York’s MoMA as the obvious paradigm, pride of place is given here to the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź (Poland). Its original Neoplastic Hall survived only from June 1948 until October 1950; but it was reconstructed ten years later, prefiguring other museographical remakes of avant-garde art displays. Thereafter, it also became, in many ways, a typical example characterising postmodern museological trends. All in all, it could perhaps be discussed nowadays in the light of critical museology as a referential case in the history of heritagised museographies

Pameran merupakan salah satu kegiatan penting bagi mahasiswa desain grafis agar mendapat apresiasi serta kritik dan saran, dari hasil proses pembelajaran beberapa mata kuliah seperti ilustrasi, fotografi, digital vector, nirmana, dan lain- lain. Saat ini keterbatasan tempat dan ruang merupkan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kurangnya kegiatan pameran karya desain grafis di kampus STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sarana berupa display atau tempat untuk memajang karya yang efektif, sebagai solusi keterbatasan ruang yang ada. Portable art display merupakan stand pameran yang di fungsikan untuk memajang karya dengan desain sederhana, mudah di bongkar pasang dan pindah tempat (moveable) namun tidak menggangu fungsi ruang di sekitarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berdasarkan metode Bryan Lawson dari tahap first insight hingga tahap Verification dengan konsep modern minimalis yang disesuaikan dengan bangunan kampus STMIK STIKOM Indonesia sehingga menghasilkan rak lipat dan standing panel yang dapat mewadahi kebutuhan ruang serta tempat untuk memajang beberapa karya saat pameran berlangsung.Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Portable art display, STMIK STIKOM Indonesia
