Abstract: Health news is a source of health information, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, while expository is a form of discourse used in news to provide information to readers. Using both principles, this research was conducted to describe the characteristics of the expository texts in the health news articles. This research used a qualitative approach with a theoretical orientation of discourse analysis. The data in this study are phrases, clauses, and sentences that show the exposition taken from health news presented in the Sindonews.com page. The results showed two findings. First, the structure of news exposition consists of (a) theses which are categorized into theses in the form of proposals, affirmation of facts, and statements; (b) arguments (evidence) in the form of evidence of facts and evidence of opinion; and (c) closing in the form of reaffirmations, recommendations, quotes, highlights or assessments, and conclusions. Second, the pattern of developing news exposition is in the form of a pattern which is categorized into a causal pattern, classification, process, illustration, report, example, and comparison which is categorized into an arrangement of four patterns and two patterns. Keywords: exposition, health news, discourse, online media, structure, pattern of developing Abstrak: Berita kesehatan merupakan salah satu sumber untuk mendapatkan informasi kesehatan, terutama saat masa pandemi covid-19.

ABSTRACTA repeating sequence and structure pattern that is highly similar to the canonical cofactor binding motif has been identified in the thiamin-diphosphate dependent (ThDP) enzyme family. We have identified more than a thousand of these repeats in a non-redundant set (N = 58) of ThDP enzyme structures. The repeating element has a helix-turn-strand secondary structure which typically begins with an [G/A]{X(1,2)}[G/A] sequence motif with a typical length of 29 residues. The catalytically important diphosphate and aminopyrimidine interacting domains are comprised of a set of six of these repeats in a conserved architecture with a flavodoxin-like 213465 strand order. The canonical ThDP binding motif is the fourth repeat in the ThDP binding domain, while the conserved aminopyrimidine interacting glutamate is part of the second repeat in its domain. The third and fourth repeats form a contact between the functional domains, while the fifth repeat in the N-terminal domain forms an inter-chain contact. The conservation of these functional properties highlights the role of these repeats in the function and structure of this well-studied enzyme family and agrees with the principle of modular assembly in protein ancestry.

This study aims to determine what types of themes are contained in the short story "Advice for My Son" by Motinggo Busye and how the structure pattern of the teen theme is. The methodological framework consists of three strategic stages in the research, namely the data collection stage, the data analysis stage, and the data analysis result presentation stage. The results obtained from this study are that in the short story "Advice for My Son" by Motinggo Busye, there are topical / ideational themes including topical themes with markings and topical themes with markings, textual themes, and interpersonal themes. The structure of the themes contained in the short story "Advice for my Son" by Motinggo Busye is in accordance with the theme-rema theory, namely the theme is located at the beginning and the unit after the theme is rema.

It's obvious. Deviations are entirely around us. As the situation is promptly fluctuating, in today's sphere of globalization the structure, pattern, and process of work are changing drastically, and working for an organization is likely to be very different due to competitive pressures and technological breakthroughs. Now the organizational work is more focused on technological competence, workforce diversity, teamwork, leadership, social-based skills, strategic planning, cross-culture training, and effective communication, which holds the keys to the growth of the organization. As the nature of the work environment continues to change, new trends have emerged at the individual, team, and organizational levels too. Basically, when we talk about the change, there is a close relationship between culture and change. Culture generally talks about existing values, practices, set of procedures, norms, and various beliefs by the member of an organization, and these are highly resistant to change.

Jambi is an area that has natural resources in the form of petroleum, one of which is the Bajubang region. Bajubang is located in the Jambi Sub Basin where ripe hydrocarbons are visible in the Talang Akar Formation. Petroleum exploration continues to run out of oil reserves. To find the presence of a sedimentary basin that has stopped, it can be done by measuring the gravity method. The basic concept of this method is to measure the geographical variation of an area on the earth's surface and corrected through the prevailing measurements or prices. The purpose of this research is to determine the geological structure pattern that causes the formation of sub-basins that indicate the presence of hydrocarbons and describe the subsurface conditions using forward modeling and backward modeling. Based on the modeling results found as many as 7 sub basins sediment. The height and fault structures are identified in the subsurface model. Based on the regional anomaly map shows the presence between the basin and the elevation. The fault structure, anticline and sub-basins are found which are expected to produce hydrocarbons.

This article seeks to explore ways through and extent to which the use of proverbs inspires confidence in the youth towards their elders in the African society in general and the Valley Tonga of Zambia and Zimbabwe in particular. The Achebean saying that ‘proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten,’ does not only point to the fact that proverbs make ordinary speech aesthetically pleasant to the ear but also that the wisdom contained therein is culturally/socially accepted. The effective and efficient deployment of proverbs in this regard earns the user respect from targets of his address. The article analyses various ways in which proverbs are incorporated in everyday speech and how these in turn, enhance chances of delivering the intended message successfully among the Valley Tonga communicators. In most cases, when a Tonga speaker wishes to delegate presentation of a complex matter to the proverb, they attribute the wisdom to the Tonga society of yester years. This tendency, the article concludes, removes personalities from the proverb while promoting objective analysis of the situation by those addressed. The article examines selected proverbs in terms of structure, pattern of usage, types of images/metaphors used and their expected impact. The article applies a triangulation theoretical framework of Appraisal, Ethnopoetics and Afrocentricity theories to delineate the communicative intent of the proverber. Together, the theories look at social functions of the language rendered by performers of the oral arts.
