This research examined whether incorporating learning progress (LPs) in teaching can help Japanese lower-secondary school students systemically understand science concepts. A teaching plan incorporating the learning progressions (LPs) concept was developed. Next, a lesson was conducted for 36 third-year students of a public lower-secondary school in Japan (Hiroshima Prefecture) from the unit of “Ions and Atoms.” Then, the portfolios used in the class and the assessment questions after the class were analyzed. The results show that some students understood the concepts systemically at the grade level indicated by the LPs; however, some students did not. The results of this study suggest the following: (1) teachers should examine the appropriate teaching methods in the target unit and incorporate teaching to allow students to engage with what they are learning; (2) students should understand the lower-level concepts related to the target unit based on LPs, and if the level of understanding is insufficient, teachers should incorporate time to review and reconstruct the concepts. Higher education establishments are intended to provide a high level of students’ professional knowledge and skills, to form the creative personality of a modern teacher capable of research and innovation activity, as well as to self-improvement in the process of developing media education skills. The purpose and tasks of the article are to substantiate creating the structural model of forming media competence of intending primary school teachers. Research results. The developed model structure includes the following units: the methodologically target unit, the organization and pedagogical one, the content and activity unit, the evaluative and result one. The methodologically target unit. It covers the purpose and tasks, the approaches, general didactic principles, specific principles. The content and activity unit is based on the components: the content of the training, methods, forms. The evaluation and result unit contains structural components (motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive); criteria (motivational and value, information and cognitive, operation and activity, evaluative and reflexive) and levels (initial, average, sufficient, creative), with which the effectiveness of intending primary school teachers’ professional training is determined. Pedagogical conditions: forming the positive motivation of intending primary school teachers by using the media in the educational process; enriching intending primary school teachers’ professional training with media education knowledge; creation of the means and methods of ensuring the integration of media education facilities into the intending primary school teachers’ professional training; involving intending primary school teachers to a focused, creative media activity and creating their own media product. Conclusions and the prospects for further researches. The model of forming media competence of intending primary school teachers and its implementation in the educational process has allowed to form students’ media competence as the professional skill by using the selected forms of work, methods, content and means.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami promosi penjualan (sales promotion), periklanan (advertising) yang di terapkan oleh PT. Astra Internasional Tbk- Daihatsu Makassar  terhadap keputusan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain riset Eksplorasisehingga dapat memberikan pemahaman dan pengertian secara mendalam terhadap suatu objek seperti variabel promosi penjualan, dan periklanan, dengan variabel keputusan konsumen.Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Makassar pada perusahaan PT. Astra Internasional Tbk– Daihatsu cabang Makassar. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder dengan melalukan observasi langsung, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah dengan menyesuaikan jumlah target unit perusahaan dan waktu penelitian, mencapai 3.615unit service. Untuk memperkuat analisis data dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memilih beberapa informan yang dianggap memahami yang permasalahan yang akan diteliti seperti para konsumen yang melakukan service pada PT. Astra Internasional Tbk- Daihatsu Makassar dengan jumlah 97 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di antara beberapa varibel penelitian seperti promosi penjualan dan periklanan yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen adalah variabel periklanan

Promosi adalah suatu komunikasi informasi penjual dan pembeli yang bertujuan untuk merubah sikap dan tingkah laku pembeli. Saluran distribusi adalah sekumpulan organisasi atau institusi yang saling bergantung membantu membuat suatu produk atau jasa yang dijual kepada konsumen akhir melalui penjual atau perantara. Sedangkan volume penjualan jumlah yang dipandang dari hubungan biaya dalam perusahaan dapat memperkirakan target unit penjualan untuk memperoleh laba yang ditentukanTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kegiatan promosi dan saluran distribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap volume penjualan pada UMKM di kabupaten Bandung.Metode penelitian ini melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaku sekaligus pemilik UMKM di kabupaten Bandung dengan jumlah 100 responden. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh antara promosi dan saluran distribusi terhadap volume penjualan. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, dan menolak hipotesis nol (Ho). Beberapa kesimpulan penelitian dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut : Berdasarkan pengujian persamaan regresi diperoleh Y = 17,049 + 0,511X1 + 0,356X2, persamaan regresi tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa setiap kenaikan satu satuan variabel tingkat promosi dan saluran distribusi akan meningkatkan variabel volume penjualan sebesar 0,511 satuan tingkat promosi dan 0,356 satuan saluran distribusi pada konstanta 17,049. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa Fhitung sebesar 70,728 sedangkan Ftabel dengan dk pembilang = 1 dan dk penyebut = dk = 100-2-1 = 97 dengan taraf kesalahan 5% harga F tabel ditemukan adalah 3,95 (interpolasi). Dengan demikian harga Fhitung lebih besar dari harga Ftabel (Fhitung > Ftabel). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini telah berimplikasi pada tingkat peningkatan volume penjualan yang secara positif dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor determinan secara bersama-sama, yaitu promosi dan saluran distribusi dimana tingkat volume penjualan produk menjadi sasaran terwujudnya UMKM yang sehat.

The article is devoted to the study of the model of the formation of the artistic culture of future artists-designers in the process of vocational training. It has been determined that the artistic culture of future designers is a complex formation of the personality, which includes a set of artistic abilities in the artistic realm, conscious feelings, motives of artistic activity, readiness for the realization of creative potential through harmonious transformation of reality and the inner world for the productive exercise of educational and professional functions. The main scientific approaches to the formation of the artistic culture of future specialists (personal, competency, cultural, axiological, integral) are presented. The contents of the model of formation of the artistic culture of future designers are characterized and substantiated. The model of formation of the artistic culture of future designers includes: target, methodological, informative, active, productive blocks. The target unit reflects goals, tasks for the formation of the artistic culture of future designers. The methodological block of the model provides scientific approaches to the strategy of forming the artistic culture of future designers, as well as the principles of formation of the phenomenon under study. The content block of the model for the formation of the artistic culture of future designers reflects the content, structure of the artistic culture of future designers and methodology for the formation of the phenomenon under study. The activity block of the model of formation of the artistic culture of future artists-designers characterizes the pedagogical conditions of formation of the investigated phenomenon in the process of vocational training. The effective block of the model demonstrates the dynamics of the formation of the artistic culture of future designers by means of selected criteria (artistic awareness, motivational maturity, artistic sensuality, creative independence, designer competence), levels of formation and achieved changes in accordance with the intended purpose.

ABSTRAK Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah banyak di manfaatkan dalam bidang keamanan terlebih disaat tindakan kriminal meningkat terutama dari pencurian. Mobil merupakan salah satu target unit yang harus di tingkatkan keamanannya, banyak para ahli menciptakan jenis keamanan pada mobil. Penulis mencoba untuk lebih mengembangkan dengan memanfaatkan Metoda Eigenface. Eigenface merupakan metoda yang memiliki prinsip kerja dengan menggunakan file XML dalam melakukan Recognition Face (pendeteksian wajah), hal ini hampir sama halnya dengan Face Detection. Pengaplikasian Face Recognition ini memiliki database berupa informasi wajah pemilik mobil yang sebelumnya telah disimpan kemudian dibandingkan oleh wajah yang telah ditangkap dan menghasilkan informasi baru berupa pengenalan wajah yang akan mengaktifkan alarm dan penguncian mobil otomatis. Kata kunci: Eigenface, File XML Pengenalan Wajah, Keamanan Mobil. ABSTRACT The development of information technology have been utilized on the security settings. Car is one of the target unit that should get it’s security improved, many experts create the kind of security on the car. The author tries to further develop car security by using eigenface method. Eigenface is a method which has the working principle using XML Files in performing face recognition (face detection), it is almost the same as face detection. The application of face recognition have database which contains information on car owners face, a process previously saved then compared by a face that has been captured and produce new information in the form of identification face that will activate the car alarm and automatic locking. Abstract The purpose of the paper is to identify the nature of the influence of a company’s marketing communication of the actual consumer behaviour. To achieve this purpose, the paper is structures in two parts; firstly, the recent literature regarding relationship marketing paradigm is reviewed and the value chain concept is presented. The second part contains a survey-based research which uses book-store customers as target unit. Sales promotion and advertising are used as input variables in identifying the variation in the client’s buying behaviour. Client behaviour was measured through three variables: monetary value spent by the clients within their last purchasing experience, buying frequency of the clients, and their buying intention.

<p class="western"><span>The adaptive learning systems are changing the learning process as we know it. One of the advantages they have over the traditional ways of learning is the attempt to adapt to the learner's capabilities in order to deliver the knowledge as optimizing as possible. Even in such sophisticated implementations there are differences in the treatment of the adaptive learning.</span></p> <p class="western"><span>During the past years spent in research of different aspects of the adaptive learning, we made a distinction of our latest development phase as an advanced adaptive learning, having more specific approach to the problem from the phase where the problem of adaptive learning is treated as a general case. Considering the conditions of advanced adaptive learning rather than basic adaptive learning, the process of learning is different and closely related to the human learner. In order to demonstrate this key improvement, we presented a general learner model through its learning mechanism and its behavior in the adaptive learning environment together with the instantiation process. In this paper we present a new way of learning with learning environment instances, constructed by choosing different ways to obtain the knowledge for a target unit.</span></p>
