There are 148,311 people with Diabetes Mellitus in South Sulawesi, and 34,564 (23.30%) of them are patients who receive standard services, domiciled in Makassar City. This study aims to determine the social determinants of urban public health with the incidence of diabetes mellitus. The research method is qualitative, the type of research is a case study of five families in Makassar City. The results of the study indicate that aspects of knowledge, social environment, and institutions are the determinants of DM cases in urban communities. This aspect is determined by unhealthy social behavior based on genetic factors, age, and lifestyle. The better the knowledge, environment, and institutions that are owned, will form healthy social behavior in dealing with DM sufferers

Purpose This paper aims to present a process to generate physics-based trade-off curves (ToCs) to facilitate lean product development processes by enabling two key activities of set-based concurrent engineering (SBCE) process model that are comparing alternative design solutions and narrowing down the design set. The developed process of generating physics-based ToCs has been demonstrated via an industrial case study which is a research project. Design/methodology/approach The adapted research approach for this paper consists of three phases: a review of the related literature, developing the process of generating physics-based ToCs in the concept of lean product development, implementing the developed process in an industrial case study for validation through the SBCE process model. Findings Findings of this application showed that physics-based ToC is an effective tool to enable SBCE activities, as well as to save time and provide the required knowledge environment for the designers to support their decision-making. Practical implications Authors expect that this paper will guide companies, which are implementing SBCE processes throughout their lean product development journey. Physics-based ToCs will facilitate accurate decision-making in comparing and narrowing down the design-set through the provision of the right knowledge environment. Originality/value SBCE is a useful approach to develop a new product. It is essential to provide the right knowledge environment in a quick and visual manner which has been addressed by demonstrating physics knowledge in ToCs. Therefore, a systematic process has been developed and presented in this paper. The research found that physics-based ToCs could help to identify different physics characteristics of the product in the form of design parameters and visualise in a single graph for all stakeholders to understand without a need for an extensive engineering background and for designers to make a decision faster.

Knowledge has been often crucial for an organization in order to maintain a competitive advantage and it’s a fact that has been wellknown and established. Nowadays knowledge has become more and more important, one factor being that the organizations are no longer restricted to local operations. This now means that knowledge from an original location needs to be transferred onto the new ones, employees must be trained and prepared, systems and processes must be kept up to the original standard and, of course, progress must be unhindered by all of this. In this new context, knowledge is increasingly seen as an important asset and valuable resource for the organization, often making the difference between the success and the failure of a company. Knowledge management is now seen as a strategic initiative and is being considered the key to creating opportunities for companies, businesses and organizations that aim to use their knowledge resources in order to maintain themselves competitive and in order to conduct business in an era of information technology. The reason for this is that companies now operate in a global market, meaning that the competition is always present and the most important, is evolving faster than ever. This research study and its future results will provide an insight into the knowledge environment of an IT company, the overall state of it and the opinions of the ones involved. IT is a very competitive market where technologies evolve at an astounding rate, where keeping an edge means always coming up with new solutions for new and existing problems, providing qualitative work in the scope of keeping and attracting customers and, of course, creating new knowledge and information that is aimed at helping the individuals within the organization and the company itself.

Pneumonia is one of the causes of 4 million deaths in children under five in developing countries, especially in infants. Pneumonia is a respiratory infection that attacks the lower part of the lungs, which is characterized by coughing and is accompanied by rapid breathing and / or shortness of breath and inward traction in the lower chest wall. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of pneumonia in children under five in the working area of the Bantul Health Center. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research with a case study control study design. The sample for this study were 60 respondents, 30 case respondents and 30 control respondents. Data analysis method with univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square test with 95% confidence level. Results: Based on bivariate analysis shows that the independent variables that have a relationship with the dependent variable namely the environment (p = 0.031), knowledge (p = 0.002), and behavior (p = 0.044). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the knowledge environment and behavior mothers with the incidence of pneumonia in infants and the lack of knowledge and behavior of mothers about pneumonia.

Clinical decision making is important for nurses to do. Clinical decision making is a complex process consisting of careful assessment of pathological conditions and patient history and the use of nursing knowledge and learning based on critical thinking experiences. Improper clinical decision making will have fatal consequences for patients This review system was compiled using Proquest. Science Direct and Pubmed databases. Article selection is carried out to identify relevant articles then screening is conducted to adjust the inclusion criteria. 13 articles were obtained in accordance with inclusion criteria and reviewed by using JBI (Joanna Briggs Institute Levels). Data shows that nurses have a very important role in clinical decision making. Nurses' clinical decision making is considered due to the risks faced by patients, thus the nurses should think critically. Clinical decision making for nurses is influenced by several factors including experience, knowledge, environment, team, supervisor support, and professionalism.
