Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of partial pulpotomy with I Root Bp Plus in cariously exposed mature permanent teeth. Methods: twenty-three cariously exposed mature permanent teeth were choosen by preoperative clinical signs, pulp dynamic examination and imaging examination. After informed consent, rubber barrier was placed. The tooth decay and the inflamed pulp were removed by round bur. After 5% sodium hypochlorite covered the section until sufficient hemostasis was achieved, I Root Bp Plus was used to tightly cover the pulp with a thickness of about 2mm, resin was filled to repaired the shape of the tooth. The capping pulp was examined by X-ray immediately after operation. Clinical and imaging examinations were performed 12 months and 36 months after treatment. Results: After 3 year, the success rate of partial pulpotomy was 86.96%, which is similar as root cannal therapy. Conclusions: The partial pulptomy for caries exposed mature permanent teeth may be an alternative to root canal therapy, and is more consistent with the current concept of minimally invasive and preservation of vital pulp.

Rapid increase in the overall incidence of pathologies of the reproductive and genitourinary systems in the conditions of a covid epidemic is predictable and requires certain medical and social steps (the formation of a preventive direction of treatment, the restoration of dispensary observation measures, the introduction of social health programs, the ability of citizens to receive qualified and timely specialized medical care etc.). The global spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus has led to a restriction in the provision of specialized urological care at the time of lockdown, which also negatively affected the dynamic examination of patients, due to a decrease in scheduled examinations. Remotely provided medical recommendations are not always correct due to the lack of the possibility of direct examination of the patient by a doctor. Significant assistance in the classification of patient complaints with the indicated clinical groups of symptoms is provided by questionnaires using generally recognized questionnaires, which must be used when interviewing each patient to establish a clinical syndrome, and it is possible to get a general idea of the state of human health only through a comprehensive analysis of the questionnaire data. The diagnosis by a doctor is established according to the anamnesis in 50% of cases, on the basis of clinical observation – in 30% and according to laboratory data – in 20%. The first remote contact of such patients with a doctor should include a detailed questioning of complaints, a review of the medical history, a review of his own medical, sometimes auto photographic, materials. Such men should always be examined on a second visit. In conditions of remote examination with lockdown, all the above examinations of patients with androgen deficiency are difficult to carry out, therefore, a less short diagnostic protocol can be applied, which will include the data: 1) ultrasound scan of the thyroid gland, abdominal organs, retroperitoneal space, small pelvis, scrotum; 2) data from clinical and laboratory tests. It is mandatory to provide medical information about the somatic and mental (psychological) state of the patient. Andrological patients usually do not have emergency conditions, but diagnostics, especially prescribing treatment, is a painstaking and individually directed process, therefore remote medical procedures are not the best option and require direct contact between the doctor and the patient.

A posterior flexion instability due to insufficiency of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in cruciate retaining (CR) total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is an important but underdiagnosed problem. We hereby suggest a diagnostic algorithm, as demonstrated by a case report of a male patient suffering from anterior knee pain and instability after CR TKA. Clinical examination was followed by standard anterior–posterior and lateral radiographs. Stress radiographs in 30° and 90° posterior drawer position enabled a dynamic examination of the instability. SPECT/CT was used to determine the TKA component position in all planes and investigate bone tracer uptake (BTU) patterns. At revision surgery, an absent PCL after CR TKA was noted and a semi-constrained TKA was implanted.

Background: Screw impingement is an infrequently reported sequelae following in situ pinning of a slipped capital femoral epiphysis, but it may result in significant bony and chondrolabral degeneration. Hip arthroscopy may offer the advantage of screw removal in a minimally invasive manner under direct visualization, as well as providing the opportunity for management of concomitant hip pathology. Indications: A healthy, active 27-year-old woman with right hip dysfunction secondary to screw impingement and concomitant chondrolabral pathology following previous in situ pinning of a slipped capital femoral epiphysis. Technique Description: The patient elected to undergo arthroscopic removal of hardware, osteochondroplasty, and management of hip labrum pathology. After the screw was localized, a 2.8-mm pin was inserted down the cannulated center of the screw to prevent intraarticular displacement during removal. The screw and washer were removed intact, and femoroplasty was performed to remove the reactive bone and resolve the cam-type impingement. Acetabuloplasty was then performed to remove pincer-type impingement and provide an appropriate rim of bone for labral reconstruction. The pathologic labrum was then debrided and reconstructed with a semitendinosus allograft. Results: There were no immediate complications following surgery. Surgical management led to resolution of the patient’s mechanical symptoms and provided pain relief, which allowed return to prior baseline level of function. Discussion/Conclusion: Symptomatic screws that impinge the osteochondral and soft tissue anatomy of the hip require removal. Historically, these screws have been removed by open, mini-open, or percutaneous techniques. This case demonstrates the advantages of arthroscopic removal, as it affords the surgeon the ability to perform a dynamic examination, safely remove the screw, and directly visualize and manage concomitant hip pathology that may not be otherwise be recognizable. Further studies will be required to determine the ability of this technique to more clearly illustrate long-term improvement in function and prevention of the development of osteoarthritis.

We reviewed the platform for more than 69, 000 applications from multi-talented Asian international businesses sectors and found that about 21% of them officially use the local calls in their code

The purpose of the study was to find the source of complaints and to diagnose dynamic upper respiratory tract problems, which were derived from the horse owners, trainers, and jockeys, and to evaluate the overground endoscopic examination efficiency to determine the subclinical upper respiratory tract (URT) abnormalities, which were unable to diagnose with resting endoscopy. In the study, overground endoscopy has been used which nowadays there is a more useful and safe technique of performing endoscopy during ridden exercise in the natural field to diagnose dynamic upper respiratory tract (URT) abnormalities in comparison with the more traditional method of resting endoscopy. This study focused on 25 racehorses (Thoroughbred, n:22 and Arabian n: 3), which were admitted to Racehorse Hospital with complaints of fade abruptly and/or abnormal respiratory noise during the last meters of the race. All horses were examined for the complaints to be associated with systemic disorders and/or lameness, the racehorses with lameness and/or systemic disorders findings were excluded. Resting (post-exercise) and overground endoscopy by using Dr. Fritz® ETL-Equine Overground Endoscopy was performed on a polytrack racecourse in all racehorses. Observed abnormalities were recorded as simple and complex cases and the results of resting and dynamic examination were compared. It was concluded the overground endoscopic examination has a useful diagnostic value in determining the cause of abnormal respiratory noise and/or fade abruptly.

AbstractTendon injuries represent the second most common injury of the hand (after fractures) and are a common scanning indication in radiology. Pulley injuries are very frequent in rock climbers with the A2 pulley the most commonly affected. Tendon and pulley injuries can be reliably evaluated using ultrasound (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). US can be postulated as a first-line imaging modality, allowing dynamic examination. MRI is essential for cases with ongoing diagnostic doubt post-US and also for preoperative pulley reconstruction assessment.

Introduction: Hip and knee arthroplasty, formerly known as the “gold standard” in the treatment of articular cartilage damage, after a period of being highly popular, are changing the way they are perceived over time due to their related complications. The number of complications is directly proportional to the number of prostheses placed. This is the case of numerus arthroplasty surgeries, also involving other joints. Since there is no tissue compatibility between the metal prosthesis and the bone tissue, the former represents a negative biological element that hinders the healing of the fracture. Objective of the study: The study aims at addressing the following questions: 1. What is the elasticity of the fixation with a locking plate depending on the number of screws in both fragments, in the case of interfractural diastasis?, 2. What is the elasticity of the fixation with a locking plate depending on the number of screws in both fragments, in the case of fracture-on-fracture compression? 3. What is the difference in elasticity of the fixation using the cable system on a fracture with prosthesis?, 4. Determining the influence of different stabilization setups with the locking plate screws on the spacing of the fracture on the static and dynamic experimental model, 5. Is it possible to achieve elasticity of the stabilization stimulating bone union in a plate-based fixation, and when? Material and methods: The study was performed in the research laboratory of ChM. The subject of the study was the ChM 5.0 ChLP straight narrow compression locking plate with limited contact L-238, holes-15. The plate was mounted using ChM 3.5 locking screws: 5.0 ChLP 3.5 x 18T self-tapping screw and 5.0 ChLP 3.5 x 36T self-tapping screw. The test was carried out under static and dynamic conditions. Results and Conclusions: 1. The elasticity of the fixation with a locking plate at the interfractural diastasis is inversely proportional to the number of screws (plate deflection), 2. The elasticity of the fixation with a locking plate at the fracture-on-fracture compression is inversely proportional to the number of screws (fracture-on-fracture compression), 3. Application of the “cable system” on the fracture with prosthesis and the derotation screw optimizes the elasticity of the fixation and seems to be an optimal solution (in periprosthetic fractures), 4. Studies on the experimental static and dynamic model demonstrated that placing screws in all the openings of the plate is a restrained/clinically useless fixation. 5. The elasticity of the stabilization stimulating bone union can be obtained in the plate fixation supported by the "cable system".
