ABSTRACT Introduction: College students face increasing pressure in all aspects of study and life. They urgently need a way to relieve stress. Physical exercise is the best choice for college students to relieve stress. Objective: To explore the relationship between physical exercise and disease prevention in college students. Methods: The article conducts a logistic regression analysis of physical exercise in college students and analyzes the relationship between the physical exercise factors and the occurrence of physical diseases. Results: The incidence of disease in students participating in physical exercise is low. The prevalence of diabetes, obesity, and hyperlipidemia decreased with the increase of physical activity intensity. Conclusions: Diligently participation in physical exercises can help college students resist diseases. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies -investigation of treatment results.

BackgroundTo explore the clinical effect of digital dorsal fascial island flap combined with crossfinger flap to repair distal degloving injury and sensory reconstruction.MethodsA total of 19 patients with distal fingertip degloving injuries treated with digital dorsal fascial island flap combined with crossfinger flap in our hospital from April 2018 to August 2020 were retrospectively included. Semmes–Weinstein (SW) monofilament and static two-point discrimination (S-2PD) tests, active range-of-motion (ROM) of the fingers, cold intolerance, visual analog scale (VAS) score patient complications, and patient satisfaction were evaluated.ResultsFive cases with post-operative flap blisters were treated at the time of dressing changes until successful scab formation. Three cases with post-operative arterial crisis of finger arterial dorsal branch vessel were relieved after suture removal and tension reduction. All other skin flaps and skin grafts survived. Nineteen patients received follow-up between 3 and 26 months (average 14.6 months). The active ROM of metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and interphalangeal (IP) joints of the injured fingers were satisfactory.ConclusionThe digital dorsal fascial island flap combined with the crossfinger flap for repairing the distal degloving injury of the distal segment of the finger is a good surgical method, which is simple and easy to operate, can repair a large area of soft tissue defect, and obtain a satisfactory effect.

Research relevance: the article presents the results after clinical observation of peripartum cardiomyopathy in a patient aged 30 years. Purpose of the study: to analyze the results of a clinical study conducted in the cardiology department of the Osh Medical United Clinical Hospital. Research methods: a differential diagnosis of acute myocarditis, idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and peripartum cardiomyopathy was carried out. Research results: taking into account the life history, laboratory and instrumental examination data, the diagnosis was peripartum cardiomyopathy. Conclusion: the treatment carried out gave a satisfactory clinical effect.

Adequate SSRI monotherapy does not produce a sufficient clinical effect in some patients, and about 30% of patients do not respond to therapy at all. Favorable experience of combined prescription of SSRIs with various nootropic (neuroprotective) agents has been described in the literature. The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy and tolerability of hopantenic acid as an adjuvant therapy for depression. We obtained significant data that inclusion of hopantenic acid at a dose of 2000 mg per day in a 12-week complex antidepressant therapy with paroxetine (20 mg per day) statistically significantly reduces the severity of depression symptoms. The drug's effect is achieved by improving patients' cognitive functions, reducing anxiety symptoms and side effects of SSRIs. Improved efficacy and tolerability of antidepressant therapy with hopantenic acid in the long term will allow to achieve more significant improvement in the quality of life of patients.

The chemical composition of the Cynophalla flexuosa hydroethanolic extract (CFHEE) was identified and its antioxidant, antifungal and antipleomorphic activities against C. albicans and C. tropicalis strains were evaluated. Phytochemical prospecting evidenced polyphenolic and triterpenoid compounds while UPLC-MS analysis revealed the presence of Isopropyl/n-propyl-GLS; Methylpropyl-GLS/butyl-GLS; Methylbutyl-GLS; Quercetin O-di-hexoside; Quercetin-pentosyl-hexoside; Rutin; Quercetin O-glucoside; Kaempferol O-rhamnosyl-hexoside; Kaempferol O-pentosyl-hexoside and Lariciresinol hexoside. The CFHEE inhibited the effect of the DPPH● free radical, both when evaluated individually and in combination with the antifungal fluconazole. When associated with 256 μg/mL fluconazole, the extract, at concentrations from 128 μg/mL, reduced the effect of the DPPH● free radical with values ranging from 37.7% to 95.8%. The extract’s antifungal effect was considered clinically irrelevant and its combination with the antifungal triggered an antagonistic effect against the two strains, thus indicating the popular use of bravo beans in the form of teas or infusions should not be combined with the intake of the drug Fluconazole as this may lead to a reduction of its clinical effect. The extract, however, inhibited morphological changes (pleomorphism) in Candida species, preventing the development of hyphae. The CFHEE possesses an antioxidant effect and a potential pharmacological activity for the inhibition of one of the Candida spp. virulence factors.

The clinical effectiveness o f complex enzymotherapy with preparation Vobenzim in treatment o f gestosis was studied in comparison with traditional therapy. The author analyzes the course оf gestation and delivery, and the state оf neonates in women with nephropathy o f I degree, who got common treatment (28 patients) and complex treatment including Vobenzim (17patients). Positive clinical effect o f complex enzymotherapy in case o f nephropathy is displayed in decreasing of edematic syndrome, eliminating or decreasing o f proteinuria, lowering o f blood pressure and impairment o f fetalhypoxia in labors. It goes along with the reduction o f immune complexes fixed in placenta.

Herpes zoster is a manifestation of the reactivation of an infection after chickenpox. One of the manifestations of herpes zoster is Ramsey Hunt syndrome, which develops when the ganglion of the VII pair of cranial nerves is involved in process. Diagnosis of Ramsey Hunt syndrome is often based on a combination of a rash in the outer ear and peripheral paresis of the facial muscles. The article describes a rare clinical case of herpes zoster in a child without clinical signs of immunodeficiency, with the development of unilateral paralysis of the facial muscles, pleocytosis in the cerebrospinal fluid. Therapy was performed with a combination of acyclovir and high doses of methylprednisolone with a good clinical effect. It is first mentioning of deviations in the immune status (decreased concentration of the number of markers of naive T‑lymphocytes (TREC)) were revealed, which could be associated with the development of herpes zoster in a child.
