This study discusses the issue of the application of selaghian customary sanctions to the Serawai people of South Bengkulu as well as examines the opinion of Islamic law on these sanctions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive normative legal approach, to unravel the facts found in the field (field research). Based on the data collected through observation and in-depth interviews in the field, it was found that the form of selaghian that is still being practiced is selaghian sebambangan, a type of selaghian performed by a couple (male and female) with both of them secretly running away from the house with no friends, going to the house of a local traditional leader, then being told by someone else to tell the couple’s parents, to pick up the couple and marry them off. Customs impose fines that vary according to the severity of the offense committed. In terms of Islamic law, the provision of customary sanctions in the form of ta’zir punishment is legal and may be carried out as a good custom (‘urf shahih) with the aim of causing a deterrent effect for the perpetrators (zawajir).

Przewóz (Transit) is a novel dominated by the Bug river – we flow down its stream as the story flows onward. The narrative interweaves many strands, the motif of the ferryman – the boatman named Lubko, and his customers from 1941 is complemented by the memories of the narrator, who is an autobiographic creation here. The novel’s wartime events (June of 1941) are located by the author in his native Polesie, where he spent his childhood holidays at his grandparents’ house. On the one side are Russians, on the other – Germans, who are running away, crossing the Bug by a pontoon bridge, while the swamp by the river swarms with Home Army soldiers, refugees, Jewish siblings... Chaos, darkness, tense waiting for an invitation to the boat. Any moment now the Bug will become the Styx, and Lubko will be transformed into Charon.

This research discusses the character development of the main character Ikari Shinji from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Neon Genesis Evangelion is an anime series directed by Hideaki Anno that tells the story of humanity's struggle against shitos using a giant robot called Evangelion. To interpret the character of the main character, the method used is descriptive analysis, and the analysis refers to Weiland's theory of character development. The results of the research show that Ikari Shinji at the beginning of the story has a ‘lie’ that he believes in, namely running away from problems. However, he has the capability to beat ‘the lie’. Throughout the story he gets the consequences of his ‘lie’, he also finds out the truth and what he actually needs. At one point he had to make a decision between the truth and the ‘lie’. The result was Ikari Shinji's old self becomes 'dead' after he made that decision. He left the ‘lie’ and proved that he had developed into a better person. The story’s ending is the answer to this anime thematic question.

The application of capital punishment itself has been regulated in Indonesia as contained in the law. Article 2 paragraph (2) of Corruption Act concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes. According to Romli Atmasasmita, it was argued that the death penalty for corruptors was effectively implemented in the People's Republic of China (PRC), and it was quite successful to reduce corruption. This certainly can be used as an example in Indonesia in imposing capital punishment for corruptors. The imposition of capital punishment for perpetrators of corruption is urgently needed as "shock therapy" because psychologically the death penalty aims for the benefit of general prevention so that others do not participate in committing crimes. Also, the application of capital punishment is based on the reason that capital punishment is more certain than the prison sentence because the prison sentence is often followed by running away, forgiveness, or because of the release. When compared from an economic standpoint, basically the death sentence is more efficient when compared to life imprisonment. As for the problems that can be formulated, namely: legal arrangements regarding corruption in the Corruption Act; the application of capital punishment sanctions against perpetrators of corruption in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: Corruption is a type of extraordinary crime ("extra-ordinary crime") that must be handled extraordinarily, so that the act is contrary to the 1945 Constitution, therefore it does not need to be protected by the 1945 Constitution. accommodated in Article 2 paragraph (2) of the Corruption Act, must meet the requirements "in certain circumstances" by the Elucidation of Article 2 paragraph (2), but its application has never been implemented, so it is necessary to review the rules "in certain circumstances".

Abstract; The ecumenical life movement is a movement that seeks to unite churches which are essentially one but separated by different denominational organizations. The ecumenical movement is a movement that must continue to be built but not to eliminate denominations because denominational wealth is God's work that is unique to His church. So the question that arises is what is the ecumenical spirit between the two denominations? The author discusses this topic with the aim of building an ecumenical spirit or church unity among church denominations. how to build an ecumenical spirit, which often results in the lack of an ecumenical spirit. The authors target in this study are all church members, be it the Toraja Church, GPdI, and also for all existing church denominations. In this study the authors have conducted research, and the method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely interviews and observations. In the interview, the author obtained or obtained information that sometimes the two congregations cornered each other in their territory so that sometimes there were disputes between members of the congregation of these two denominations, for this the conclusion of this study about ecumenicalism is that in building an ecumenical spirit, mutual respect between denominations is very important. It is important, besides building good relationships with other church members and then running away from cooperation in serving God and His people. These things can be done in building an ecumenical spirit between denominations Abstrak; Gerakan hidup ekumenis adalah gerakan yang berusaha menyatukan gereja-gereja yang pada dasarnya satu tetapi dipisahkan oleh organisasi denominasi yang berbeda.

ObjectiveTo explore Michael Kohlhaas syndrome and development of litigious paranoia.Case reportA 50-year-old Swiss woman spent a number of weeks travelling around the UK, reporting to police that her family in Switzerland were working with their police, doctors and the mafia to kill her. She was therefore running away for her own safety, and trying to seek legal help to investigate. She had been in close contact with a woman in London who claimed to be able to give her legal aid in exchange for payment. On admission to the ward, it was felt that the legal aid was actually feeding her persecutory delusions.DiscussionWe discovered that she had in fact been detained in Switzerland prior to coming to the UK, and the discharge report was obtained which diagnosed her with Michael Kohlhaas syndrome and Folie a deux.ConclusionThis poster will further explore Michael Kohlhaas syndrome and litigious paranoia, with connection to this case.

Aim. The article analyses the means of using a new method of storytelling with elements of the poetics of behaviourism, which deeply showed the consequences and impact of the First World War on the lives of civilians in the sphere of hostilities. The heroes of the novel are little children who were running away from the soldiers and found themselves in the dark woods near a fatally wounded mother. The hero of the novel Vasilko, a boy of six or eight years, must fulfil the prayer of a dying mother and save his sister Nastya, who is very young and cannot even speak. The novelty of the author of the novel does not describe Vasylko’s inner emotions, but using the poetics of behaviourism, shows only the actions of the boy and his behaviour in these circumstances. The novel is devoid of emotional expressions, conveys the boy’s behaviour, his actions caused by external pathogens. The author with great force conveys his attitude to the war and its inhumane nature.
