Hypergeometric functions and their inequalities have found frequent applications in various fields of mathematical sciences. Motivated by the above, we set up certain inequalities including extended type Gauss hypergeometric function and confluent hypergeometric function, respectively, by virtue of Hölder integral inequality and Chebyshev’s integral inequality. We also studied the monotonicity, log-concavity, and log-convexity of extended hypergeometric functions, which are derived by using the inequalities on an extended beta function.

Introduction. Second half of the 19th century for the Russian Empire is marked by the intensification of the process of transition from a traditional society to an industrial one. This transformation also affected such a conservative institution as the family. Its characteristic feature is the decrease in the average size of the family and the simplification of its structure. However, the transformation process was uneven, under the influence of regional characteristics, factors of the socio-economic and cultural type. Research Methods. The research was carried out on the basis of a comprehensive statistical analysis of the primary material of the zemstvo agricultural censuses located in the fund of the Provincial Statistical Committee of the State Archives of the Saratov Region. Results. The surviving materials include over 800 Mordovian households. The analysis of them allows us to speak about the predominance of this ethnos at the end of the 19th century a large, undivided family. This can be traced both in the total number of households of this type and in the number of people living in them. In the general base, the most populated households belonged to the Mordovians, the Tatar and Russian were smaller. Discussion and Conclusion. The article attempted to test the hypothesis that the family structure becomes more complex as it grows. It was found that a small family dominated in a group of households of up to 6 people, and a complex family dominated by 7 or more people. The extended type of household was not predominant in any group, occupying an intermediate position.

Driven by increasing awareness of the importance of family firms in most countries, the interest in family business studies is growing at a rapid pace. The entrepreneurial potential of family-owned businesses has been gaining even more attention among scholars and institutions since the 1980s and 90s. This fact joined to the fact that family firms are the most extended type of businesses all around the world has pushed a growing number of higher education institutions to introduce family business education programs in their curricula. Family business education at prominent universities provides high-level support for family SMEs due to such complexities of a family and their needs to the dynamics of a competitive business which can be quite challenging. It is therefore attractive to investigate and compare what characterizes the family business education programs in USA and Spain, including an overview of the most recent offerings among the most prominent higher education institutions.

The paper presents a socio-economic and demographic portrait of parents with many children in the Komi Republic, aged 25-49, based on the results of 2017 sociological survey on determining the level and quality of life of the popula-tion of the northern region. In order to study the total sampling size, 70 respondents having three or more children, aged 25-49, were selected. To compare the data obtained on some issues, a comparison with the results of the survey as a whole for the entire group of respondents aged 25-49, without taking into account the number of children, was made. The study allowed us to make a number of conclusions. All three types of reproductive attitudes in large families are at a high level and correspond to extended type of reproduction. The highest is the average desired number of children. Among the large families, there are fewer people with higher education than in the whole array of respondents, and more of those with secondary special education. The housing problem is acute for a significant part of large families: almost a third of large families have cramped housing conditions. 40% of parents with many children, with all the desire to improve their housing conditions, cannot afford it in the near future. Low personal incomes (taking into account wages and other sources) are twice as likely to have large families than the general population, without taking into account number of children. The average per capita incomes of families differ significantly depending on the level of childbearing – due to the growing dependency burden on the budget. The most disturbing fact is that four out of ten families with three or more children have an average per capita income below the subsistence minimum in the Komi Republic. At the end of the paper, recommendations for improving the financial situation of families with three or more children are proposed.

The Internet of Things or IoT is billions of physical devices connected to the Internet. Its main premise is simply an extended type of connection, which can then be used as a basis for all kinds of functions. IoT describes a network of physical objects - "things" that are built into sensors, software and other technologies to connect and communicate with other devices and systems over the Internet. Problems of system protection, including the use of IoT devices are studied by many scientists and specialists in this field, but in today's world, not every manufacturer is ready to declare vulnerabilities and general insecurity of their products (devices). Throughout the IoT environment, from manufacturers to users, there are still many IoT security issues, such as manufacturing standards, update management, physical hardening, user knowledge and awareness. This article examines the vulnerabilities of the Internet of Things. The analysis of information transfer technologies of IoT devices (in particular ZigBee, Signfox and Bluetooth) is carried out. The most common threats that a user may encounter have been identified and analyzed. It is also established that usually not only the manufacturer poses a threat to the security of IoT devices. There are also a number of tips for users who want to reduce the risk of data leakage associated with vulnerabilities in the Internet of Things. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for such devices to be incorrectly set up, used and stored. Extremely common is the user's refusal to update the software, which in turn leaves open those vulnerabilities that the manufacturer is trying to fix. The main purpose of the article is to determine the causes of security threats to the Internet of Things, by analyzing data transmission technologies, analysis of the threats themselves, identifying the most critical of them and ways to reduce the risk of data theft

The one-dimensional Schrödinger equation, applied to the H2 intramolecular stretch coordinate in singly to quadruply occupied large cages in extended Type II (sII) hydrogen clathrate hydrate, was solved numerically herein via potential-energy scans from classical molecular dynamics (MD), employing bespoke force-matched H2–water potential. For both occupation cases, the resultant H–H stretch spectra were redshifted by ~350 cm−1 vis-à-vis their classically sampled counterparts, yielding semi-quantitative agreement with experimental Raman spectra. In addition, ab initio MD was carried out systematically for different cage occupations in the extended sII hydrate to assess the effect of differing intra-cage intrinsic electric field milieux on H–H stretch frequencies; we suggest that spatial heterogeneity of the electrostatic environment is responsible for some degree of peak splitting.

AbstractThis article is concerned with the history of yours sincerely, a popular closing formula in English epistolary discourse. The formula was already used sporadically in the seventeenth century, gradually increased in frequency in the Late Modern period, and was the preferred subscription in English business correspondence by the end of the 1950s. This study investigates patterns of usage of closing formulae in a bestselling business letter-writing manual William Anderson’s Practical Mercantile Correspondence, A Collection of Modern Letters of Business, etc., whose first edition was published by Effiingham Wilson in 1836 in London. The first half of the nineteenth century was a period during which sincerely appears to have been gaining in popularity. The analysis of the repertoire of the closing formulae in Anderson shows that sincerely was starting to compete with truly for the same slot within the matrix of the extended type of closing formulae. This competition of sincerely with truly can be read as an indicator of a larger social and cultural change, which saw the rise of sincerity, reinterpreted as genuineness of feeling, as the new cultural buzzword.
