Agricultural products move through several channels before reaching the final consumers. The collection process of vegetable must be effective and efficient to avoid losses in the supply chain of vegetables. The Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center (DDEC) is considered as the main hub of vegetable and fruit distribution in Sri Lanka. The objective of this research is to analyze the role of DDEC in collection of vegetables in Sri Lanka and explore whether the center meets the best practices of vegetable collection. Transportation, packing and packaging, role of middlemen, and training and knowledge on vegetable collection process were reviewed. Data were collected using a semi structured questioner from 70 farmers linked to the DDEC. High level of quality degradation, poor packing and packaging, lack of knowledge and training on collection, and inefficient role of middlemen were identified as the main issues related to the vegetable collection process of DDEC in Sri Lanka.

This paper studies the impact of software protection level on software platforms and customers’ responses to different levels of protection. This study models the interplay between users, developers and platforms, and the impact of quality degradation in the presence and absence of competitive platforms. All price structures are affected by protection level and quality degradation level for pirated copies of software. Customers, developers, and platform reaction to the protection and quality degradation levels can be contradictory, because an increase in those parameters may benefit one side, while hindering another. The results confirm that full protection against piracy is not always the best strategy in multisided platforms, but the impact of piracy changes under different scenarios.The results show that decisions regarding optimal security strategies should be taken in a systematic manner by incorporating the perspectives of all involved parties and the important factors extracted from the market within which the platform performs, such as monopoly or competition.

<p>Untuk memperpanjang masa simpan cabai giling yang diperdagangkan, perlu dilakukan pengemasan sebaik mungkin sehingga tidak terkontaminasi mikroba. Di samping itu diperlukan informasi masa simpan untuk menjamin bahwa cabai giling sampai di tangan konsumen belum mengalami kerusakan dan masih layak dikonsumsi. Salah satu cara untuk menduga umur simpan secara cepat adalah dengan metode Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT), melalui pendekatan Arrhenius. Penelitian bertujuan menduga umur simpan cabai giling melalui pendekatan Arrhenius. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pascapanen BPTP Sumatra Barat pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Oktober 2018. Penyimpanan dilakukan menggunakan kemasan botol plastik Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) dan kantong plastik PP 0,8 mm pada suhu 3ºC, 29ºC, dan 35ºC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reaksi kinetika penurunan mutu cabai giling mengikuti ordo satu. Pendugaan umur simpan paling lama diperoleh pada perlakuan pemanasan cabai giling selama 25 menit kemudian dikemas dengan botol PET, disimpan pada suhu 3°C, yaitu 211,41 hari, dengan model matematika penurunan mutu Lnk =14,883-7154,67(1/T). Jika disimpan pada suhu 29˚C dan 35˚C masing-masing umur simpan hanya 53,26 hari dan 27,21 hari.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong></p><p>Umur simpan; Pengolahan; Cabai giling</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>To extend the shelf life of traded ground chilies, good packaging is necessary in order not to be contaminated by microbes. In addition, information on shelf life is needed to ensure that the ground chillies that arrive at consumers have not been damaged and are still fit for consumption. One way to quickly estimate shelf life is by using the Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) method, through the Arrhenius approach. The research aimed to estimate the shelf life of ground chillies through the Arrhenius approach. The research was conducted at the Postharvest Laboratory of BPTP West Sumatra from May to October 2018. Storage was carried out using Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles and 0.8 mm PP plastic bags at temperatures of 3ºC, 29ºC, and 35ºC. The results showed that the reaction kinetics of quality deterioration of ground chillies followed order 1. The longest estimated shelf life was obtained in the heating treatment of ground chilies for 25 minutes then packed with PET bottles, stored at 3°C, that is 211.41 days, with a mathematical model of quality degradation Lnk = 14.883-7154.67 (1/T). If stored at 29oC and 35oC, the shelf life is only 53.26 days and 27.21 days, respectively.</p>

<p class="Abstrak">DLH DKI Jakarta merupakan lembaga pemerintah yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan sekitar 1.125 Tempat Penampungan Sampah Sementara (TPS) yang tersebar di lima wilayah di DKI Jakarta, yaitu Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Timur, Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Utara dan Jakarta Pusat. Sejumlah TPS yang tersebar tersebut, turut di dalamnya beberapa TPS 3R (<em>Reduce, Reuse, Recycle</em>). TPS 3R lebih kompleks pemanfaatannya bila dibandingkan dengan TPS biasa karena TPS 3R selain berfungsi sebagai TPS, juga dapat untuk memperbaiki kondisi sampah atau limbah sebelum diteruskan ke TPA (Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir). Kondisi TPS 3R saat ini belum bisa maksimal fungsinya, disebabkan fasilitas yang belum memadai, seperti menurunnya kualitas alat pencacah organik, tidak adanya wadah pemilahan dan ruang pemilahan. Oleh karena itu, perlu kiranya pengucuran dana bagi TPS 3R. Akan tetapi karena terbatasnya dana, maka perlu memilih TPS 3R mana yang akan diprioritaskan mendapat bantuan dana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan prioritas TPS 3R DLH DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode optimasi yang mengacu pada 5 kriteria yaitu luas lahan, fasilitas, jarak, kondisi jalan, dan kondisi estetika lingkungan, serta metode pengembangan sistem RAD (<em>Rapid Application Development</em>). Peneliti menggunakan metode optimasi <em>Fuzzy Logic</em> sebagai metode pembobotan nilai kriteria dan <em>Hill Climbing</em> untuk menentukan alternatif terbaik yang ada. Adapun sistem yang dihasilkan memberikan kontribusi kepada DLH yaitu dapat menentukan TPS 3R yang berhak mendapatkan bantuan dana secara cepat dan tepat.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Abstract"><em>DLH DKI Jakarta is a Government Institution that responsible for waste management about 1125 temporary waste shelters (TPS) spread across 5 Regions in DKI Jakarta; i.e South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Central Jakarta. All those TPS’s are including some of 3R TPS (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle).    The 3R TPS is more complex in term of their usage rather than normal TPS as the 3R TPS’s instead of being a normal TPS, they could also fix the rubbish or waste before send it to Final Processing Place (TPA). The 3R TPS is still functionally not maximum way to be used as inadequate facilities such as quality degradation on organic counter, and there is no mechanical separation place and its room. With that reasons, the 3R TPS needs to be financial supported.  And considering the financial limitation from DKI Government, there is need to select suitable 3R TPS on priorities to get financial support. Therefore, this study aims to build a decision support system in determining the priority of TPS 3R DLH DKI Jakarta by using an optimization method that refers to five criteria, namely land area, facilities, distance, road conditions, and environmental aesthetic conditions, as well as Rapid Application Development (RAD). The fuzzy logic is a method of weighting the criteria and Hill Cimbing is optimization method to determine the best of alternatives. The result contributes to DLH, which is to determine which TPS 3R is entitled to receive funding quickly and precisely.</em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

The texture complexity of traditional sensor image degradation restoration methods is high and the restoration effect is reduced. For this reason, a virtual reality-based image quality degradation recovery method for nanosensors is designed in this paper. First, the image quality degradation model of nanometer sensor is constructed based on virtual reality technology. Then, the noise characteristics of the degraded image are analyzed. On the premise of retaining the original image information, the diffusion coefficients in the vertical and horizontal directions are calculated to obtain the expression of adaptive filter (ADF) in the image with noise, so as to complete the image denoising process. On the basis of texture complexity analysis, singular value decomposition detection and alpha channel calculation are completed, and image quality degradation recovery of nanosensor is achieved through synthesis operation. The experimental results show that the texture complexity of the recovered images is lower than 0.54, the average absolute error percentage of the recovered images is only 10%, and the P-R value is high, which fully demonstrates the effectiveness of the offered procedure.
