Mobile edge computing (MEC) provides users with low-latency, high-bandwidth, and high-reliability services by migrating the computing power of the cloud computing center to the edge of the network. It is thus being considered an effective solution for the contradiction between the limited computing capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and the rapid development of delay-sensitive real-time applications. In this study, we propose and design a container union file system based on the differencing hard disk and dynamic loading strategy to address the excessively long migration time caused by the bundling transmission of the file system and container images during container-based service migration. The proposed method involves designing a mechanism based on a remote dynamic loading strategy to avoid the downloading of all container images, thereby reducing the long preparation time before which stateless migration can begin. Furthermore, in view of the excessive latency of the edge service during the stateful migration process, a strategy for avoiding the transmission of the underlying file system and container images is designed to optimize the service interruption time and service quality degradation time. Experiments show that the proposed method and strategy can effectively reduce the migration time of container-based services.

With the continuous development of Internet, cloud computing, and other technologies, build a cloud platform based on Cloud Computing Center, but how to effectively carry out operation and maintenance and face users to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of the platform is extremely important. In view of these needs and limitations, this paper introduces the multipoint mapping algorithm, combs the statistical methods of platform cloud traffic, carries out platform data traffic by classification, constructs the data traffic optimization management model, analyzes the relevant data samples, carries out statistical calculation for data diversion tasks, analyzes and processes the priority indicators, and forms the final results through continuous iteration, realizing the management of data flow optimization virtual simulation of big data cloud platform. Simulation results show that the multipoint mapping algorithm is effective and can effectively support the data flow of big data cloud platform and optimize virtual simulation management.

Abstract The Mu2e experiment at the Fermilab Muon Campus will search for the coherent neutrinoless conversion of a muon into an electron in the field of an aluminum nucleus with a sensitivity improvement by a factor of 10000 over existing limits. The Mu2e Trigger and Data Acquisition System (TDAQ) uses otsdaq as the online Data Acquisition System (DAQ) solution. Developed at Fermilab, otsdaq integrates both the artdaq DAQ and the art analysis frameworks for event transfer, filtering, and processing. otsdaq is an online DAQ software suite with a focus on flexibility and scalability and provides a multi-user, web-based, interface accessible through a web browser. The data stream from the detector subsystems is read by a software filter algorithm that selects events which are combined with the data flux coming from a cosmic ray veto system. The Detector Control System (DCS) has been developed using the Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) open source platform for monitoring, controlling, alarming, and archiving. The DCS system has been integrated into otsdaq. A prototype of the TDAQ and the DCS systems has been built at Fermilab’s Feynman Computing Center. In this paper, we report on the progress of the integration of this prototype in the online otsdaq software.

The international conference is organized jointly by Dorodnicyn Computing Center of Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of Russian Academy of Science and Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. The talks presented at the conference discuss actual problems of computer algebra — the discipline whose algorithms are focused on the exact solution of mathematical and applied problems using a computer.

The article studies the dynamics of the cultural benefits provision to the Russian population from the point of view of the main functional types in the period of 2000—2019, and develops proposals to overcome the existing imbalances. The study is aimed at determining the composition of indicators that characterize the population’s provision with conditions and services in the field of culture; forming a database of five functional types for the period of 2000—2019; selecting the methods of analysis, as well as analyzing the dynamics of the cultural benefits provision to the Russian population; assessing the positive effects and negative consequences of the cultural institutions network optimization. To this end, the article analyzes the statistical data of the Main Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, examines the legislative acts regulating the state guarantees of providing the population with cultural benefits. For each functional type (theaters, concert organizations and independent groups, museums, libraries, cultural and leisure institutions), the authors select the indicators that characterize conditions and services in the field of culture and compare them with the indicators of attendance and demand for the services by the population. The article applies an indicative model using the methods of horizontal (temporal), vertical (structural) comparative analysis. There is revealed that, firstly, the dynamics of the cultural benefits provision to the Russian population during the specified period was uneven in terms of functional types; secondly, the measures to improve the efficiency of cultural budget expenditures led to some positive changes in the conditions of provision. At the same time, there were certain imbalances in the form of a decrease in the provision of cultural benefits to the population and reduced opportunities for participation in cultural life due to some unreasonable optimization of the network of libraries and cultural and leisure institutions. The study concludes that the identified negative trends can be neutralized by creation of new cultural development centers, active introduction of mobile forms of cultural services and inclusive forms of working with people with special needs, modern digital technologies, development of cultural and educational tourism, volunteerism.

<p>A parameterization of the Prandtl number as a function of the gradient Richardson number is proposed in order to correctly take into account stratification when calculating the thermohydrodynamic regime of inland water bodies. This parameterization allows the existence of turbulence at any values of the Richardson number.</p><p>The proposed function is used to calculate the turbulent thermal conductivity coefficient in a k-epsilon mixing scheme. Modification is implemented in the three-dimensional hydrostatic model developed at the Research Computing Center of Moscow State University.</p><p>It is demonstrated that the proposed modification (in contrast to the standard scheme with a constant Prandtl number) leads to smoothing all sharp changes in vertical distributions of turbulent mixing parameters (turbulent kinetic energy, temperature and thickness of the shock layer) and imposes a Richardson number-dependent relation on the empirical constants of k-epsilon turbulent mixing scheme.</p><p>The work was supported by grants of the RF President’s Grant for Young Scientists (MK-1867.2020.5) and by the RFBR (19-05-00249, 20-05-00776). </p>

Thirty five years ago, the All-Union Distributed Registry of Persons Exposed to Radiation as a re-sult of the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear power plant (Chernobyl Registry) was created. The Computing Center of the Research Institute of Medical Radiology of the USSR Academy of Sci-ences (Obninsk) became the core of the Chernobyl Registry. Their contribution to the creation of the registry was made by all former Soviet republics. Currently, the registry is called the National Radiation and Epidemiological Register (NRER), which is a state information system for personal data of Russian citizens exposed to radiation as a result of radiation accidents and incidents. The NRER is a multi-level system consisting of 85 regional segments in subjects of Russian Federa-tion and 4 departmental sub-registries. Currently, the NRER stores information about 811 thou-sand people, of which 751 thousand people represent the so-called “Chernobyl contingent”. The article presents the description of regulatory framework, organizational structure and technologi-cal approaches to the management of NRER. The article also describes the specific elements and subsystems of the registry that ensure the effective functioning of the NRER system for many years. The final part of the article presents the main results of research on the assessment of the radiological consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, obtained on the basis of the analysis of da-ta accumulated in the NRER for the period 1986-2020.
