This research investigates whether the evolution of augmented reality contributes to the combination of specific and alternative forms of tourism in Greece. More specifically, in the first stage, information and communication technologies and the new emerging perspectives that appear over time are described. Then, talking about special and alternative forms of tourism, the authors talk about cultural, gastronomic, and educational tourism, elements of which intersect in the light of spatial augmented reality (SAR). The main purpose of the chapter is to prove that SAR excels in the synergy of the three forms of tourism mentioned. Also, a successful example of the development of SAR in the Greek tourist area is given, with the presentation of a case study of a museum in Greece. Finally, the benefits provided by the combination of special forms of tourism with SAR are presented, and it is concluded that all ages have the opportunity to actively participate in such projects using SAR, without the informal exclusion of older people.

Educational tourism as one of the development sectors of tourism is based on the community's need for educational variations. Educational tourism is suitable to be developed in locations that have limited locations and are in areas with residents. Tukad Bindu, as one of the densely populated areas in Denpasar, has the potential to develop educational tourism. The fast flow of the river becomes an attraction and strength in the tourism development needed by the local community. The learning model and the introduction of caring for nature can be applied to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu. In its development, the arrival of Covid-19 also affected the visit to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu which was seen in a drastic decrease in domestic tourists for almost 8 months. Strategic steps are needed in adapting the covid-19 virus so that the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu can still run. This study aims to obtain a standard health protocol that can be done in entering the area of Tukad Bindu tourist attraction using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research can be used in application during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that people can still visit the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu by following the applicable protocol.

The Novel Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak has decreased international students’ enrolment in public and private educational institutions. The educational tourism industry can achieve better benefits if the service providers and policymakers become more proactive in understanding educational tourist behaviour when dealing with challenges during the pandemic. This study examines whether educational tourist and institutional physiognomies affect the relationship between motivation facets and destination selection behaviour within an augmented Stimuli-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model. This paper analyses the issues and objectives for the forthcoming study through several works of literature from various disciplines. The outcomes of the review proposed a conceptual framework to extend the S-O-R model in future research focusing on the relationship between educational tourist motivational facets, educational tourist and institution physiognomies, and destination selection behaviour.

The main goal of the manuscript is an attempt to show that contemporary trends in tourism are based on forms in which cognitive, adventure and educational tourism is becoming more and more important. All these forms are based on the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the regions. In Poland, “krajoznawstwo” is an important trend, which for years has been based on the educational, cognitive and active tourism functions. It turns out that it is very difficult to find an equivalent of this word in English, but the message "get to know your country" can be carried out anywhere, in any part of the world. We decided to use the word "touring" in the text.

The tourism sector has been targeted to be a tool that may develop people’s economies. Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Sukowilangun Berseri is a community that develops Taman Suko at Sukowilangun, Kalipare, Malang Regency. However, the increasing number of tourism effects for the local community at Sukowilangun can still be categorized at a low level. Besides, the management capabilities and resources of the local community in developing Taman Suko as a local tourist destination have not been able to attract more tourists. We carry out a community service program through diversifying our business with the implementation of an aquaponics system to increase income derived from tourism management, providing assistance in efforts to develop tourism potential, and empowering local community-based communities at Taman Suko. The results of this program were implementing an aquaponics system as a business diversification as well as an education theme for tourists on how freshwater fish and vegetables are bred, developing some tourism support facilities such as photo spot, pathways, and fish pond, and promoting local culinary business through social media and a video profile.

Environmental characteristics that became the main study points in captivity of C.unicolor were analyzed descriptevely. The feasibility of the location for captivity was analyzed by weighting several parameters approach. Some of the feasibility parameters assessed are accessibility, topography, grazing area, shade, water sources, and savety aspects. The mapping of the assessed captive locations was analyzed using Arc Gis Software. The results of the analysis show that the location of the Gunung Kayangan tourist area is the most recommended area for captive C.unicolor. The disadvantage of this area compared to the other 2 options is the limited water source which can be overcome by optimizing existing water bodies as reservoirs for water supply for captive C.unicolor.
