BACKGROUND: The COVID-19 virus has become a terrible thing and is a serious threat to health globally which spreads very fast throughout the world with the number of cases increasing sharply and causing high mortality rates. This disease has become an international public health emergency. AIM: This study aimed to systematically investigate the effectiveness of quarantine against the spread of disease due to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). METHODS: Searching for articles was using electronic databases in English such as CINAHL (EBSCO), Science Direct, ProQuest, Scopus, Springer Link, PubMed, Willey Online Library, Clinical key, Academic Search Complete, MEDLINE, Taylor and Francis Online, Cambridge Core, and sage journals to review the literature published between 2019 and 2020. RESULTS: Seven quarantine intervention programs were demonstrated to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19. The most common interventions were divided into four types of programs, namely: (1) Quarantine program: “Susceptible Exposed Infectious Recovered,” (2) quarantine programs: Mitigation, quarantine program: Public health intervention, (3) quarantine programs based on laboratories, and (4) quarantine programs on cruise ships. CONCLUSION: Successful interventions were characterized by a combination of multi-sectorial collaboration, community involvement, community-based service delivery, and broader programs both in scope and compliance. This program has proven to be beneficial in preventing or reducing the spread of COVID-19. Suggestion: The government can use these programs to prevent and reduce the spread of disease caused by COVID-19.

It’s hard for me to talk in any kind of brief, definitive way about what this essay is. If pressed (which I sort of am now) I’d say that it’s a reflection on coming to terms with what is possibly the most terrible thing that can happen to a parent, and doing so while one is a teacher, scholar, and writer. It is also, for me, a way of moving forward, of memorializing my son while trying to find meaning in the things I’ve always done but which have changed in their significance now, in ways I’m not yet sure I can name.

As critics are quick to point out, the European Union (EU) has entered the crisis phase of its evolution. It could be argued that crisis management is now the EU’s new normal. Dealing with both endogenous (e.g., economic crisis and Brexit) and exogenous crises (e.g., the migrant crisis and COVID-19), the EU is facing a whole new set of challenges that has the potential to destabilize the complex institutional balance that has maintained the process of European integration over the last 70 years. In this environment of rapid responses, gender+ equality has frequently been compromised. As we argue in this article, the implications of this backsliding are grave not only for equality but also for the European Union as a whole. Drawing on Walby’s concept of gender regimes and social transformation, we consider current crises and the EU’s responses to those crises to highlight potentially dangerous shifts in the European gender regime. With crisis response increasingly supporting a neo-liberal gender regime, the current state of perpetual crisis in the European institutions does not bode well for the future of equality.

This article would like to reflect the history of the Thai gambling industry. The nature of gambling that is hidden in tradition, opinion of Thai society towards gambling. Moreover, the effects of gambling that the state allows and does not allow through literature, law, Buddhist principles, the King's philosophy and the theoretical concept of gambling, and the theoretical concept of gambling. The results of the synthesis of the data showed that gambling has been in conjunction with Thai society for a long time. The context and process of gambling in Thai society can take many forms. It will depend on the context of the environment, the law, and the government, etc. Their views and attitudes towards gambling can be divided into two groups: the one that sees gambling as a pleasure. It has created a social space to legitimize gambling in various forms, such as gambling for gambling. The hidden gambling tradition gambling of the types permitted and prohibited by the government, etc. Furthermore, the second group viewed gambling as a danger to society. It is a terrible thing that the state must restrict it from society. This concept is primarily connected and related to religious and legal principles. From the information found, I believe that gambling is a huge source of income for the government, even though the state knows that it is mescaline. But cannot cancel the business, that is, the deadly poison or the public's silent threat that is submitted to the government.

The world of education in Indonesia cannot be proud of itself, many international reports show the level of education in the middle category (for example UNDP & GTCI). In fact, this concern is bigger when looking at the facts on the ground, how many problems and shortages in Indonesian education are, and the most terrible thing is the quality of the teaching force. This study seeks to show evidence, how to portray the competence of educators in Indonesia. Can a certification program increase the knowledge and abilities of educators? This is the main topic of research. So that we can see, to what extent are the roles of the government, the ministry of education, the schools, and the teachers themselves, trying to improve their professionalism, so as to make a real contribution to realizing a smart and prosperous society. To that end, a qualitative approach was taken. Namely, a research process that uses an empirical approach, in order to reveal the real situation. The results showed that the certification program was not interpreted as an effort to increase competence, but rather to improve welfare
