Mindi (Melia azedarach) is a fast-growing woody plant with potential forcommunity forest development. Mindi wood is used to furniture material, parquet, fancy plywood, and fancy laminated veneer, and it is also exported. Although the communityforest in Deli Serdang Regency is established as a seed source for mindi in North Sumatra, information on its diversity is still lacking. The aim of this research was to get informationabout morphological differentiation of mindi in Deli Serdang Regency. Direct observationand measurement on morphological and growth character of mindi had been conducted inthree populations of community forest in Deli Serdang Regency. Those were Percut SeiTuan population, Biru-Biru population, and Pancur Batu population. The result showed thatof 19 observed morphological characters, there were two characters: number of leave andfruit weight able to differentiate the populations—individual tree from three populationclustering into three groups. The first cluster consists of 35 individual trees from Percut SeiTuan (7 trees), Biru-Biru (12 trees), and Pancur Batu (16 trees). The second cluster consistof 24 trees originated from Percut Sei Tuan (13 trees), Biru-Biru (8 trees), and Pancur Batu(3 trees). A third cluster consists of one tree from Pancur Batu.

Field experiment was carried out during the rainy season of 2019 in Tal, Billiri Local Government, Gombe State and Teaching and Research farm University of Agriculture Makurdi Benue State. The aim of the experiment was to investigate the performance of five varieties of sesame under organic and inorganic fertilizer. Treatments consisted of five varieties of sesame (E-8, NCRIBEN-01, NCRIBEN-02, NCRIBEM-031 and YANDEV-55) and five fertilizers (NPK, Poultry dropping, cow dung, goat manure and control). These were factorially combined and laid in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results of the study revealed that sesame generally responded to both varietal, fertilizer and location effects. All the parameters studied have significantly (P≤0.05) responded to the both varietal, fertilizer and location effects where variety NCRIBEN-01 and E-8 was observed to perform higher in both growth character and grain yield. NPK fertilizer and Benue location was significant in both growth, yield related character and overall yield. Based on the result obtained it can be suggested that the use of E-8, NCRIBEN-01 and NPK fertilizer will lead to optimum yield for farmer in Billiri local Government, Gombe state and Benue State Nigeria

<p>The dual layers of Nano-membranes barrier, could succeeded in regulation nutrient element and control water-borne disease by improving aerations through added dual layers of nano-membranes, this plantation model provide concept of providing hydrophilic properties and 500 nm pore size believed to be much precision tools for agricultural utilization. This rebuilding of pineapple cultivation was optimized in green-house with natural ventilation, Optimized humidity and free watering were properly practiced by implement of diffusion cage for a novel revealed boundary effect by 500 nm mold inject product. Effect indicated as indicated: Cellulose, PBT, CTA in sequence have better boundary effects over limiting the diffusion of nitrate, phosphate, and a small part of potassium in the root boundary regime through proper moisture with 0.5–0.8 L/pot button irrigation, The intensity of boundary effect were revealed in kinetic analysis follow in sequence: EC (1500 mg L−1) &gt; &gt; nitrate (300 mg L−1) &gt; TPO (2.5 mg L−1), while highly fluctuate for TPO. Then indication of hydrophilic PBT was better than PP was verified in barrier model. In the growth stage, separate initial I–III for direct releasing from the fertilizer and III–VI for hydrolysis &amp; secretion of nutrient, especially for TPO anion form, indicate highly ion charged or polar attraction exerted. While phosphate was delivered slowly, the organic practice was found promising in deliver and uptake to the final two or three stage for flowering and fruiting. The verification of deliver of nutrient by double caged box in the rhigime zone, indicated effective in lowered the damping off/nematode syndrome, which opened the extension cropping in suboptimal area for pineapples. The success of growth character improved by control disease and pest, reach complete maturation. Under 80 % of final fruiting, the balance analysis show consistence in expectation for Pya (wild) &gt; Pyc (hybrid) &gt; Pyb (interbreed).</p>

The character of growth and production of hybrid maize seeds in Bima URI 20 used a three-way cross. The female elders of Bima 4 variety and male elders (G180 / Mr14 x Nei 9008P). The research objective was to see the relationship between growth and three-bonded mother trees in the production of Bima 20 URI hybrid maize seeds. The research was conducted in Kendal Regency with an area of 2 hectares in MK-1 2019 through the OFCOR (On-Farm Client-Oriented Research) approach. This research uses descriptive analysis and the relationship between variables. The results showed that genetic and environmental factors influenced the growth of parent seeds. Rise of male elders 96.5%, female elders 98.6%, Tall plants 208.5 cm, male elders 148.4 cm, ear height 74.1 cm, male elders 57.9 cm, age the female flowers 50.35, and male flowers 47.8. The results of the assessment test for the parameters of ear weight assessment, seed weight per ear, and 1000 dry seed weight resulted in a value of 0.8-0.9 that indicated that the characters had a strong effect on plant productivity and growth.

<p>Patchouli Aceh Lhokseumawe is a patchouli that has a high oil content.  However, the Lhokseumawe species have narrow plant genetic variation due to vegetative propagation. This study aims to analysis broad genetic variability and phenotypes, correlation between growth character and strong yield character to help selection in plant breeding.  The research was conducted at experimental field of the Politeknik Negeri Lampung in April until October 2018.  The research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 10 genotype and 3 replications.  Analysis of the data used is ANOVA, if significantly different followed by the LSI 5%, then using variability genotype and phenotype and t test. The result showed that NPL 1 had a better appearance than the Lhokseumawe (local) genotype in the LSI 5%.  Extensive genotype variability was found ini g/plant dry weight character and ton/ha dry terna production, broad phenotype variability was found in all observed characters.  High heritability is found in the characters of stem diameter, wet weight, dry weight, and production of dry ton/ha. Significantly positive phenotypic correlations that have high oil yield are characterized by the characteristics of dry weight, ton/ha dry cattle production, wet weight, and harvest index. Positive genotypic correlations were evident between growth and yield characters, namely the oil yield with leaf length, and leaf width.</p>

Limitations in obtaining superior varieties of red chili that are suitable to be planted in the highlands are one of the causes of the low yield of red chili in Rejang Lebong Regency. However, the availability of red chili germplasm as a genetic resource (SDG) in Rejang Lebong Regency is a good potential to be utilized to overcome problems in increasing the yield of red chili plants through the assembly of superior varieties. Assembling superior varieties of red chili has been done by researchers in order to get the desired plant character. This study aims to obtain information on the variability and heritability of growth character and yield of 18 red chili varieties in Rejang Lebong Regency. This research activity is the initial activity of developing the potential of germplasm that will be carried out so as to be able to overcome the problems in increasing the production of red chili in Rejang Lebong Regency. A series of research activities will produce superior varieties of red chili specifically for the highlands. The material used in this study was eighteen (18) varieties of chilli collections from various regions. The experimental design used was a Complete Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, namely red chili plant varieties. The red chili varieties to be investigated for genetic variability and heritability in this study amounted to 18 and each treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that the highest estimated heritability was indicated by the leaf width variable at 96.69% and all observed variables had broad genotypic and phenotific variability.
