Spatial planning is very important because it is a public space so whether or not a street space will affect all road users. Structuring street space is to increase user experience so that the best place of public space is achieved. To get the best place, we need to accommodate and clearly define each user of the space. Bendi as a mode of transportation certainly uses street space as a means of motion space. And it requires a clear definition of the movement of the bendi in a physical order that can prevent violations of the rights of other street users both pedestrians and motorized vehicles. The purpose of this study is how the standard of road spatial planning for bendi. The method used in this study is the collection of field data through qualitative descriptive analysis with several indicators, namely Characteristics and space for bendi, spatial planning standards, street space settings. The design concept of bendi lane is proposed in 2 types, namely a special lane with a straight line divider on the Hasan Esa street, the Pahlawan revolusi street, and the Djabar Syah street and integration on the Ahmad Yani street and the Nukila street.

Abstract- Batak Toba tribe is an ethnic group that still holds tradition as an identity that distinguish them from other ethnic groups in Indonesia. Part of the culture that strongly influences society’s daily life is the kinship, as can be seen with the usage of family name and the philosophy of Dalihan na Tolu, which regulates attitudes and behaviors among society. Aside from the kinship, the traditional architecture is also a cultural identity of Batak Toba tribe, ranging from the order of settlements to organization of space in each dwelling. The research aims to study the physical spatial order of the settlements as a consequence of Batak Toba kinship system, to see the relation between settlement’s physical spatial order with the clan system and the philosophy of Dalihan na Tolu, and lastly to see the effect of modernization in the development of Batak Toba settlements.Huta Ginjang Village in Sianjur Mula-mula is an indigenous village that still holds Batak Toba tradition and culture. Residents are mostly from the Sagala clan and originated from one ancestor. Each house is inhabited by one nuclear family and the collection of several dwellings in a certain order forms a settlement that still knows the kinship of one another. Huta Ginjang Village consists of eight cluster of settlements that still have relation to each other, forming a small clan group.Data on the spatial physical order of the settlements in Huta Ginjang Village and the society’s kin relationship are obtained from literature studies, direct observation in the object of study, and interview with the villagers. The obtained data were analyzed qualitatively by using the relation theory in architecture. The result of the research shows the undeniable relation between physical spatial order of settlement in Huta Ginjang Village with the society’s kin relationship, either on the village, huta, or on the dwelling scale. One of the relation can be seen in the absence of hierarchy in dwelling placement, as the principle of the Dalihan na Tolu has no hierarchy between each of the components. The relation with the kin relationship cannot be seen from each of the building’s typology, because there are no special features that distinguishes each of the kinship groups.  Key Words: relation, physical spatial order, kin relationships, Huta Ginjang Village

According to the Estatuto da Cidade (Federal Law No. 10,257/01), municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants must have their growth regulated by the Master Plan, which establishes physical order, planning of the city and directs investment priorities. The image of the city is the result of the master plan, showing the importance of planning tools. However, it come as laws, texts, decrees, and other written ways, which sometimes become difficult to communicate. The present moment of the computational technology allows the elaboration of a set of systems that help the planning activities and understanding of the phenomena of the cities physical growth. This study intends to organize data related to urban planning legislation and show them through virtual simulators. Users are able to verify and understand the application of regulatory plans, how the restrictions and permissions to the buildings work, and to visualize the application of these rules in a terrain and / or urban clipping in parametric form. Municipalities and planners, AEC professionals and the population can use the products elaborated from this research in general, as well as teaching / learning tools in architecture and urban planning courses, civil engineering among others in this area.

In the past, Alun-alun is united with the Keraton complex and present in an axis. The physical elements which forms an axis in Alun-alun are the two banyan trees that form the orientation towards the government complex (Keraton). As the development progresses, Alun-alun is revitalized to adjust current cultural conditions and to improve the quality of the Alun-alun's hall as the city's identity. This research aimed to determine the representation of physical elements which formed an axis in Alun-alun towards the government complex. Habraken's theory on the physical order was considered adequate to dissect the physical elements which formed Alun-alun and lead to the conclusion of this research. Matters that needs to be identified to reach the interpretation stage were identifying levels in nominal classes, namely major arteries, roads, building elements, partitioning, furniture, bodies and utensils. The results indicated that the axis of Alun-alun towards the current government complex was indicated by the physical form of locating the furniture in one axis, forming the pathways, the hardening of soil at the main entrance area and the addition of gates inside Alun-alun. The conclusion of this research was that in the past, the axis of Alun-alun towards the government complex was formed by the belief and symbolic meanings of its cultural life. Currently the axis was formed from the physical element of complementary facilities or infrastructure of economic and social activities as a representation of the axis in Alun-alun towards the government complex.

Aims – To identify comfort needs and measures of the patient admitted in intensive care units.
