Pendahuluan: Daun Kersen memiliki senyawa tanin, saponin dan flavonoid, Flavonoid merupakan senyawa aktif yang dapat digunakan sebagai antioksidan, antibakteri dan antiinflamasi. Dengan demikian dilakukan penelitian formulasi krim ekstrak etanol  daun kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) .Tujuan: untuk memformulasikan sediaan krim yang mengandung ekstrak etanol daun kersen sebagai antijerawat. Metode: penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode penelitian eksperimental. Penelitian menggunakan 3 formula ekstrak etanol daun kersen yaitu dengan konsentrasi 1%, 3% dan 5%. Ekstrak daun kersen diperoleh dengan cara maserasi dan dikentalkan diatas penangas air. Komposisi krim ialah asam stearat, trietanolamin, adeps lanae, paraffin liquid, metil paraben (nipagin), propil paraben (nipasol), parfum, dan aquadest. Uji krim meliputi uji homogenitas, uji organoleptis, uji pH dan uji iritasi. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiap formula stabil selama penyimpanan pada suhu kamar. pH tiap formula berada pada rentang 5,9-6,7. Kesimpulan: ekstrak etanol daun kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) dapat diformulasikan ke dalam bentuk sediaan krim dan bentuk relatif baik.

In this study, an easy, low-cost, green, and environmentallyfriendlier reagents have been used to prepare CdS QDs, in chemicalreaction method by mixed different ratio of CdO and sulfur inparaffin liquid as solvent and oleic acid as the reacting media indifferent concentration to get the optimum condition of the reactionto formation CdS QDs. The results give an indication that thebehavior is at small concentration of 4ml of the oleic acid is bestconcentration which give CdS QDs of small about to 9.23 nm withnano fiber configuration.

Objective To obtain immobilized nanomaterials with good performance, the preparation condition of chitosan nanospheres by miniemulsion crosslinking method was optimized. Methods The chitosan nanospheres were synthesized by miniemulsion crosslinking method with Span80 and Tween80 as the emulsifier, glutaraldehyde as the crosslinker, n-hexane and paraffin liquid as oil phase,chitosan acetic acid solution as aqueous phase. The particle size was measured by Zetasizer nanoanalyzer. Results The results of the univariate tests show that the optimal preparation condition of chitosan nanospheres can be obtained when water/oil volume ratio is 3:2. The size distribution of chitosan nanospheres is 18.17nm to 190.1nm. Conclusion The chitosan nanospheres by miniemulsion crosslinking method are suitable materials as enzymes and proteins immobilized carrier.

Different thickness multi-layer graphene were prepared by the method of liquid ultrasonic stripping and characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. Friction and wear properties of graphene liquid dispersing system were investigated using an Multi-functional reciprocating friction and wear tester in ambient condition. Results indicate that the graphene were in thickness of 10nm-100nm. Multi-layer graphene showed good anti-friction and anti-wear properties as paraffin liquid additives. Multi-layer graphene liquid dispersing system had the best tribological properties with 20N and 0.01wt%, and the average friction coefficient was 0.129, and the wear mass was 4.12×106μm3, reduced by 21.34% and 41.14% than paraffin liquid. The reason is that Multi-layer graphene could adsorb on the worn surface and form solid adsorption layer, which maked the friction and wear reduce.

The synthesis of Cadmium Selenide (CdSe) by using wet chemical synthesis replace organometallic method. The oleic acid using as the capping agent for CdSe nanocrystals. Paraffin liquid using as solvent for Se and Cd precursor. In this paper, the optical properties at different time was investigated. For optical properties, photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) was used and for surface morphology field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). This paper describe the effect of CdSe properties at different certain time.
