The objective of this research is to find out the benefit of the Green Building Concept application with VRF Air Conditioning System at Indonesian Computer University. The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis. Based on research findings, the VRF air conditioning system in Indonesian Computer University could reduce electrical power usage and the monthly cost for electrical power. However, the payback can only be reached after 15 years of operation. The other benefits are the space efficiency for more flexible placement of the outdoor unit and did not decrease the building's aesthetic appearance.

Log-structured merge-tree (LSM-Tree)-based key–value stores are attracting attention for their high I/O (Input/Output) performance due to their sequential write characteristics. However, excessive writes caused by compaction shorten the lifespan of the Solid-state Drive (SSD). Therefore, there are several studies aimed at reducing garbage collection overhead by using Zoned Namespace ZNS; SSD in which the host can determine data placement. However, the existing studies have limitations in terms of performance improvement because the lifetime and hotness of key–value data are not considered. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a technique to minimize the space efficiency and garbage collection overhead of SSDs by arranging them according to the characteristics of key–value data. The proposed method was implemented by modifying ZenFS of RocksDB and, according to the result of the performance evaluation, the space efficiency could be improved by up to 75%.

With the advent of cloud computing, the low-cost and high-capacity cloud storages have attracted people to move their data from local computers to the remote facilities. People can access and share their data with others at anytime, from anywhere. However, the convenience of cloud storages also comes with new problems and challenges. This paper investigates the problem of secure document search on the cloud. Traditional search schemes use a long index for each document to facilitate keyword search in a large dataset, but long indexes can reduce the search efficiency and waste space. Another concern to prevent people from using cloud storages is the security and privacy problem. Since cloud services are usually run by third party providers, data owners desire to avoid the leakage of their confidential information, and data users desire to protect their privacy when performing search. A trivial solution is to encrypt the data before outsourcing the data to the cloud. However, the encryption could make the search difficult by plain keywords. This paper proposes a secure multi-keyword search scheme with condensed index for encrypted cloud documents. The proposed scheme resolves the issue of long document index and the problem of searching documents over encrypted data, simultaneously. Extended simulations are conducted to show the improvements in terms of time and space efficiency for cloud data search.

The subject of this research is the image classification methods based on a set of key points descriptors. The goal is to increase the performance of classification methods, in particular, to improve the time characteristics of classification by introducing hashing tools for reference data representation. Methods used: ORB detector and descriptors, data hashing tools, search methods in data arrays, metrics-based apparatus for determining the relevance of vectors, software modeling. The obtained results: developed an effective method of image classification based on the introduction of high-speed search using hash structures, which speeds up the calculation dozens of times; the classification time for the considered experimental descriptions increases linearly with decreasing number of hashes; the minimum metric value limit choice on setting the class for object descriptors significantly affects the accuracy of classification; the choice of such limit can be optimized for fixed samples databases; the experimentally achieved accuracy of classification indicates the efficiency of the proposed method based on data hashing. The practical significance of the work is - the classification model’s synthesis in the hash data representations space, efficiency proof of the proposed classifiers modifications on image examples, development of applied software models implementing the proposed classification methods in computer vision systems.

Space efficiency is one of the most important design considerations in any tall building, in terms of making the project viable. This parameter becomes more critical in supertall (300 m+) residential towers, to make the project attractive by offering the maximum usage area for dwellers. This study analyzed the space efficiency in contemporary supertall residential buildings. Data was collected from 27 buildings, using a literature survey and a case study method, to examine space efficiency and the main architectural and structural design considerations affecting it. The results of this research highlighted that: (1) central core was the most common type of design parameter; (2) prismatic forms were the most preferred building forms; (3) the frequent use of reinforced concrete was identified, compared to steel and composite; (4) the most common structural system was an outriggered frame system; (5) the space efficiency decreased as the building height increased, in which core planning played a critical role; (6) when building form groups were compared among themselves, no significant difference was found between their effects on space efficiency, and similar results were valid for structural systems. It is believed that this study will help and direct architects in the design and implementation of supertall residential projects.

In an automobile intake system, Helmholtz resonator is often used to reduce intake noise. But there is a disadvantage in the engine room. Resonator brings low engine room space efficiency, because resonator needs some. In this paper, we propose air cleaner with built-in resonator for a limited space of air cleaner and analyze the pressure drop effect and the transmission loss performance of the resonator through flow analysis. The air cleaner with a built-in resonator had almost no difference in pressure drop with the conventional air cleaner. Some vortex in conventional air cleaner is removed, and also, the built-in resonator has noise reduction effect at 160Hz at 61dB such as same resonator.

The current research highlights an important aspect of the great and rapid development in the field of science and technology, and modern manufacturing methods as a result of the scientific revolution resulting from the accelerated cognitive development, Which prompted designers in general and interior design, the subject of research in particular, to exploit and invest in digital technology, And the development of digital control in the industrial product design process for the purpose of creativity and innovation through these digital programs, Digital models fulfill the requirements and desires of the interior designer according to the creative skill by using modern software with high efficiency and accuracy in line with the requirements of the user, the interior designer and the beneficiary companies ,Therefore, the research problem can be determined by the following question:What is the nature of the variables in modeling patterns in the stages of contemporary interior space design through the use of virtual reality techniques? While the aim of this study was: to reveal the importance of digital models in the real interior space through a virtual reality, the current research included three sections: The first topic: the variables and their relationships in the design of the interior space, and the second topic: modeling in interior design between reality and simulation, and the third topic: Digital models in interior design, and the research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: 1.Digital models allow the designer, custodians, and people to be able to explore the interior space before designing it. 2.Designers use Digital Prototyping to design, improve, validate and digitally visualize their spaces throughout the design stages. 3. Innovative digital models can be created through creative designs, achieving multiple design goals (best performance, high efficiency, space efficiency, appropriate design cost).
