The high-resolution spectrum of the 72GeH4 molecule was recorded on a Bruker IFS 125HR Fourier spectrometer with an optical resolution of 0.003 cm-1. The line positions were analyzed for ten interacting vibrational-rotational bands 3ν4 (1F2, F1, 2F2), v2+ 2ν4 (1E, F1, F2, 2E) and 2ν2+v4 (1F2, F1, 2F2) in the range 2350-2750 cm-1. As a result of the analysis, 1726 experimental lines were identified with the maximum value of the quantum number Jmax = 17; then used in the fitting procedure with parameters of the effective Hamiltonian. The resulting set of 35 spectroscopic parameters describes the vibrational-rotational structure of the spectrum with drms = 7.5 · 10-4 cm-1.

Line-by-line direct writing by femtosecond laser has been proved to be a simple and effective method for the fabrication of low-loss fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs), and is more flexible compared with the traditional ultraviolet exposure method. In this paper, the line-position-dependent characteristics of cladding modes coupling in line-by-line FBGs have been studied, to the best of our knowledge, for the first time. Both theoretical and experimental results show that off-center inscribing could compress the bandwidth of the Bragg resonance and excite more abundant cladding mode coupling, in which the core-guided fundamental mode would couple to the cladding-guided LP0n and LP1n simultaneously. By aligning the line positions across the core region, the first apodized line-by-line FBG was achieved. This work enriches the theories of line-by-line FBGs and provides an inscription guidance to meet different application requirements.

Lines and angles are essential for students because of geometry and its many applications in daily life. However, there are still many students who have difficulty grasping the material. Therefore, it is necessary to design learning using the right approach, context, and media. This study aims to produce a learning trajectory that can assist students in understanding the concept of lines and angles, maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of learning, create meaningful learning, and motivate student learning. This study used the Joglo Traditional House context as a starting point and the design research method developed by Gravemeijer and Cobb with three main steps: preparing for the experiment, designing the experiment (pilot experiment and teaching experiment), and retrospective analysis. However, in design experiment step is limited to the pilot experiment. In this study, all activities were designed based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education. It involves six 7th-grade students from one of the junior high schools at Juwana Resident with three different abilities, namely two students for each level with high, moderate, and low ability. The learning trajectory generated in this study consists of a series of learning processes in four activities that can be used to develop local instructional theories and develop designs for further activities. Those are observing Joglo traditional house video for understanding lines and angles concepts, deducing line positions, discovering the angles' properties on parallel lines intersected by other lines, and solving lines and angles problems.

Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest located over the GBM basin, has impacted lives of millions over the years. Standing against various natural disasters, rivers of Sundarbans have undergone major issues such as erosion-accretion of both the banks. The paper deals with a combination of remote sensing and Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS), studying temporal behaviour of bank-lines along the main rivers of Sundarbans for the last three decades. The course of main rivers spanning from southwest Baleswar to west Bengal Bidyadhari within coverage of 10,000 sq. km. has been analyzed in this study. DSAS, the extension tool of ArcGIS, was used for monitoring the rate-of-change from multiple historic bank-line positions extracted from satellite images. Comparison of historic bank-lines between different rivers of Sundarbans was done based on Net Bank-line Movement (NBM) with an interval of five years. Finally, the results were presented graphically to get a better understanding of the bank-line behaviour. The study revealed that the western region of mangrove prevails eroding behaviour than the eastern region. Increased rates of riverward movement due to accretion was found from 2008-2013. These results are important for future monitoring and proper management within the coastal communities surrounding the mangrove forest.
