The effect of enhancement the hydrophobic properties of the ensemble of micro- and nanostructures ZnO as a result of coating with gold was discovered. For the first time, it has been shown that coating the ensemble with a micro- and nanoparticle ZnO layer of gold leads to a sharp increase in the wetting edge angle from 145 to 168 ° (water drop volume 5 mm3) and a decrease in the hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity transition time under ultraviolet irradiation. Keywords: ZnO, gold, superhydrophobic.

Abstract Objectives This study was performed to evaluate the effect of oral stimulation with breast milk for preterm infants. Methods A total of 68 subjects form neonatal intensive care unit were randomly assigned into control group (n=20), premature infant oral motor intervention (PIOMI) group (n=25) and premature infant oral motor intervention with breast milk (BM-PIOMI) group (n=23). Results BM-PIOMI group had significant shorter initiation of oral feeding (IOF) time compared to PIOMI group (2.95 days, 95% CI [0.42–5.48]) or control group (9.79 days, 95% CI [7.07–12.51]). BM-PIOMI group had significant sooner transition time from IOF to full oral feeding (FOF) compared to control group (6.68 days, 95% CI [2.2–11.16]), but not to PIOMI group (2.09 days, 95% CI [−2.07 to 6.25]). Length of hospital stay (LOS) did not show statistical different between three groups (control 38.85 ± 14.40 vs. PIOMI 38.48 ± 11.76 vs. BM-PIOMI 38.04 ± 12.2). Growth mixture model identified improvement in non-nutritive sucking (NNS) score in BM-PIOMI group compared to control and PIOMI group (0.8293, p<0.0001, and 0.8296, p<0.0001, respectively). Conclusions Oral stimulation with breast milk can better promotes the oral feeding process of premature infants than the simple oral stimulation, by shorten IOF time and improve early NNS score, but does not shorten transition time from IOF to FOF and LOS. Trial registration The trial identification number is ChiCTR1800019134 (Chinese Clinical Trial Registry http://www.who.int/ictrp/network/chictr2/en/)

Abstract The overall liner cementing qualification rate is only 40% in Agadem block of Niger, The cement slurry system used in the field has a UCA transition time of 43min, and an expansion rate of -0.03% in 24h, which result in a poor anti-gas channeling performance. The expansive agent and the anti-gas channeling toughening agent of anti-channeling agent were optimized through experiment study. A novel micro-expansion anti-gas channel cement slurry system which is suitable for Agadem block was obtained through experiment optimization study: 100% G +2 ∼ 4% fluid loss agent +3 ∼ 4.5% anti-channeling agent +1 ∼ 2% expansion agent-100S +0.15 ∼ 0.4% retarder +0 ∼ 0.3% dispersant +0 ∼ 0.25% defoamer + water. This new cement system has a good anti-gas channeling performance, the cement strength is 24.5-35.0MPa after 24hrs, the UCA transition time is 16-18min, and the expansion rate is 1.5-1.7%. At the same time, a cementing prepad fluid suitable for the block and the micro-expansion cement slurry system is selected to ensure the performance of the cement slurry's anti-channeling performance. The field test results proofs the good performance of the new cement system. The cementing qualification rate of Koulele W-5 well is 96%, and the second interface cementation is Good. The cementing qualification rate of Trakes CN-1 well is 100% which second interface cementation is Excellent. This paper has positive guidance and reference for cementing in Agadem block.

2013 is going to be an interesting year for the High Dilution research field. There is a tendency to revise basic concepts and common beliefs, while refining models and theories. The fundamental research team seems to be open to deeper discussions, aiming to reinforce some hypothesis and discharge others. In somehow, we are stuck in a vicious way of think, trying to manage and describe an informational phenomenon into a molecular framework. The challenge offered to those researchers involved with basic science is to figure out how to deal with such phenomenon, since previous theories and models have not shown to be matched! In the other hand, there is a tendency to explore the HD phenomenon in its technological branch. While basic research is important to describe how things work, the applied research has a more intense social and economic appeal. To develop technology based on HD means to give a different kind of visibility to the field, attracting sponsors, companies, entrepreneurs, always committed to the market regulatory laws. I am expecting for this year some important movements, both in the basic and applied research. Of course, it will be only a new beginning, as these changes require a lot of work, discussions and insights. But this transition time is very welcome!

This study aimed to investigate the effect of oral stimulation and a supplemental nursing system on the time to full maternal breastfeeding and sucking success in preterm infants. The sample consisted of 70 preterm babies. Oral motor stimulation and a supplemental nursing system were applied to the preterm infants in the experimental group, while no intervention was applied to those in the control group. Significant differences were found between the two groups concerning transition time to oral feeding, transition weight, transition time to full maternal breast, discharge age, duration, and weight, LATCH mean scores, continuing to suck in the first month after discharge, and weight averages. Oral stimulation and a supplemental nursing system shortened the transition period to oral feeding and full breastfeeding, increased breastfeeding rates and the sustainability of breastfeeding, and did not affect the period of discharge and vital signs during feeding in preterm babies.

The book on "Impact of Lockdown for Researchers" is a very good effort in bringing novel ideas at the time of the pandemic. The engagement with the research community leading to this wonderful outcome is laudable. As the editors of this book, we are fortunate to go through every article and found few interesting impacts of lockdown in researchers career. Congratulations and wishes to authors and publishers for bringing out this productive outcome in the most critical transition time of this pandemic.

The article investigates the perceptions of time based on lunar and solar cycles, seasonal changes in nature, and the rhythm of agricultural work. The key events of the annual cycle in the Udmurt calendar are winter (vozhodyr/uyvozho) and summer (invozhodyr) solstices. The winter solstice period (vozhodyr, lit: transition time, crossroads / crossroads of time, the time of vozho, the time of evil spirits) and the time of the summer solstice are described. The winter period is dedicated to the winter Christmas period from January 7th to January 19th, and includes the following components: gatherings with songs and games, divination, dressing up, and mumming. The article characterises the most important events, such as mumming and masking, as well as beliefs, rituals and prohibitions connected with the spirits of the transition time. The summer solstice is connected with the image of the Mother/Foremother Invozho (In(‘)vozho-mumy), that descends from heaven to earth at that time of year. During summer solstice period the Udmurt particularly venerated heavenly powers and held calendar festivals (gershyd, gerber, gyron-bydton) in order to glorify blooming nature and peasant farmer’s labour.
