A new purifying method of metal surface cleaning from oxide scale using a special rotating edge tool is described, which allows to solve the problem of increasing the extent of surface purification from oxide scale more efficiently, reliably and effectively. The process of the surface cleaning of flat- rolled products used for the manufacture of hollow sheres from oxide scale by mechanical action of a cutting tool on various layers of oxide scale is simulated. The force required to shift an oxide scale and the boundary conditions of the ratio hold-down pressure of the tool to the workpiece, the friction force in the tool support and the impact force of the scale on the tool, at which it is possible to remove the scale from the rolled surface, are determined.

This paper involved the information system development, to automate the professional practices (or their counterparts in other universities) with a web-based application, where different actors (students, universities and companies) get the information they effectively compete them because the system validates the information contained in the databases and provides security transactions. The resulting technological product is called SIVIEE or Information System to Link University – Business, was developed with the idea that educational institutions have networks a cutting-edge tool for management of professional practices. Allows communication and electronic exchange of documents with the signatures respective, generates PDF documents that are stored on the server. The store information of students, companies and projects, open the possibility of data mining.

Key performance indicators, KPI are a proven cutting-edge tool for process productivity and staff performance monitoring. Therefore, today it is possible to find the use of this tool in the most varied spheres and industries. However, the system implementation is a long and painstaking process, which requires financial, labor and time expenditures. But in case of its successful implementation, KPI technology will provide the balance of advantage for the company management and contribute to its growth. The article presents the selection mechanism of KPI system development and implementation methods. Using key performance indicators, the organization is able to manage the process and modify it, as well as define objectives for employees and motivate them to achieve their objectives. KPIs are based on measuring quantitative benefits. Control shall be based on comprehensive and reliable information about the company’s process productivity. This is the only way to take quick management decisions, make adjustments to the operation of processes that will contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives as a whole.

Glioblastoma (GB) is the most frequent and aggressive type of glioma. The lack of reliable GB models, together with its considerable clinical heterogeneity, has impaired a comprehensive investigation of the mechanisms that lead to tumorigenesis, cancer progression, and response to treatments. Recently, 3D cultures have opened the possibility to overcome these challenges and cerebral organoids are emerging as a leading-edge tool in GB research. The opportunity to easily engineer brain organoids via gene editing and to perform co-cultures with patient-derived tumor spheroids has enabled the analysis of cancer development in a context that better mimics brain tissue architecture. Moreover, the establishment of biobanks from GB patient-derived organoids represents a crucial starting point to improve precision medicine therapies. This review exemplifies relevant aspects of 3D models of glioblastoma, with a specific focus on organoids and their involvement in basic and translational research.
