AbstractIt is well known that gibbons emit a pattern of vocalizations, which is specific for species and sex. A previous study showed, however, that immature southern yellow-cheeked gibbon (Nomascus gabriellae) males produce only female-like great calls from 2.3 to 5.3 years of age in co-singing interactions with their mothers. To date, nothing is known about how the vocal repertoire of a male changes from the female-like call (great call) to the male call (staccato notes and multi-modulation phrase) during vocal ontogeny. The goal of this study was to describe the transition from the female-like great call to the male call and the ontogeny of the male call. We predicted that the transition from the female-like great call to the male-specific call and the development of the male call is a normal part of the aging proces. If this is the case, the following phenomena will occur: (a) female vocalization should no longer be produced with the mature form of the multi-modulation phrase and (b) all stages of the male vocalization should occur gradually as the young male ages. Young males regularly emit both female-like great calls and male-specific calls between the ages of 5.6 to 7.1 years. Once the young males reached 7.1 years of age, they emitted male calls exclusively, and they continued to do so until the end of the observation period (at 8.11 years of age). It was confirmed that the young males emitted only female-like great calls during periods when they produced non-mature forms of a multi-modulation phrase (Fm0,1—none or one frequency modulation in second notes). Furhermore, the decrease in the number of female-like great calls was attributed to the development of the mature form of the multi-modulation phrase (Fm2—two or more frequency modulation in second notes), which developed with age. We also confirmed that the multi-modulation phrase developed gradually, while the development of the staccato notes occurred in leaps. A multi-modulation phrase developed as the initial part of the male-specific call. It was evolved from a simpler to a more complex form as the maximum frequency and age of the young males increased. Staccato notes subsequently developed in certain young males. Possible explanations for such vocal ontogeny in young males are discussed in this work.

The study was carried out on the impact of information technology on the accounting line of work. Purpose: The purpose was to determine the impact of information technology on the accounting line of works in the global system. Methodology: A survey methodology was adopted. In the course of gathering Information, questionnaires were constructed, validated, and dispensed to sampled elements of the targeted area, which had the relevant knowledge in the area of inquiry. Appropriate statistical tools were adopted to evaluate the raw facts obtained. Results/Conclusion: Results of the investigation had shown that information technology has a substantial influence on the accounting line of work and was therefore concluded that accounting line of work has changed from what it used to be before now to a line of works that developed in alliance with the trend in technical improvement and a globalized structure. Furthermore as inferred from the findings of the study, there is a great call for prompt and concerted efforts on several fronts in order to find ways of coping with the growing degree of window dressing account, the malady of accounting noise and fraud skyrocketing syndrome in the business and the nonbusiness world due to non-adhering to tenets of information technology when carrying out an accounting line of works. Recommendation: It was consequently recommended that the accounting line of work will be greatly enhanced if information technology is allowed to penetrate and dominate accounting practices and operations.

Javan gibbon is one of an endemic species of Java with kind of unique vocalizations. Supported by a study which showed that every individual has the different anatomy vocal tract that will produce a different sound. Character vocalizations formed from the structure of vocalizations vary between individuals would be the identity of an individual so that there will be effective communication between the giver signal to the receiver. The objective of research is to find out the structure variation of Javan gibbon vocalizations. The research was accomplished in August-September 2015 at the Petungkriyono Protected Forest, Pekalongan, Central Java. The method used is the Focal Continuous sampling. Ratio coefficient of variation within and between female, indicates that the variable vocalizations vary between individuals, and the correct rate of individual identification yielded bydiscriminant function analysis using variable vocalizations was satisfactory (94,4%). Variable vocalization differentiatoris total great call duration (8,99-13,53 s), total great call duration excluding termination phase, duration pre-trill phase, duration introduction note (0,147-0,612 s), frequency range introduction note (408,54-1209,6 Hz), minimal frequency introduction note, maximal frequency introduction note, minimal frequency second trill note, minimal frequency at end of trill note, and minimal frequency range in trill. These vocalizations potentially allow individual recognition of animals.

ABSTRACTThis paper discusses the concept of common sense in the humanism. We´ll consider two proposals for the discussion on this concept: On the one hand, the classical conception of humanism considered in crisis associated with a lack of pluralism and inclusion from the ordinary to the contents and humanistic practice. On the other hand, the idea about that common sense in the context of the humanism is heterogeneous, so it recreates and includes in a new dialogue the everyday man by himself. The invitation from the United Nations about “Humanism, a new idea” (2011) is the context like a great call to refocus the discussion on practices derived from humanistic policy agreements in the world, integration projects between the classical traditions of the concept and dreams of interdisciplinary integration in the concert of nations. The path of analysis on the concept about the common sense in this proposal is a guide to review the rational framework as a concept in crisis.
