Abstract Manufacturers migrate their processes to Industry 4.0 that includes new technologies for improving productivity and efficiency of operations. One of the issues is capturing, recreating, and documenting the tacit knowledge of the aging workers. However, there are no systematic procedures to incorporate this knowledge into Enterprise Resource Planning systems for maintaining a competitive advantage. This paper describes a solution proposal for a tacit knowledge elici-tation process for capturing operational best practices of experienced workers in industrial domains for on-site training. We use Concept Maps mining and domain ontologies to discover and integrate information into a Knowledge Graph in a role game played by human and virtual agents. Ethical and societal concerns are discussed as well.

Abstract Background The present study examined the effectiveness of the Universal Unified Prevention Program for Diverse Disorders (Up2-D2) for internalizing and externalizing problems for children aged 9−11 years. Methods We used two feasibility studies. The Up2-D2 entailed 12 sessions delivered by teachers; each session was developed based on cognitive-behavioral and positive psychological interventions. In Studies 1 and 2, 58 elementary school children aged 9−11 and 73 elementary school children aged 10−11 attended the Up2-D2. The teachers in Study 1 received 1.5 hours of on-site teacher training for learning rationales for interventions, how to run the program, and received ongoing supervision by professionals with mental health expertise. In contrast, the teachers in Study 2 were given self-learning DVD materials in place of on-site training and ongoing supervision. Results Mixed models revealed that general difficulties, which is total score of both internalizing and externalizing problems, decreased in Study 1 but not in Study 2. Additional analyses for children with subclinical general difficulties revealed that general difficulties, internalizing problems, and externalizing problems decreased in Study 1, whereas in Study 2, general difficulties and internalizing problems decreased, except for externalizing problems. Conclusions These results suggest that on-site teacher training and ongoing supervision are imperative for improving general difficulties in children at a universal level. In addition, universal preventive interventions by classroom teachers without on-site training and continuous supervision might be efficacious for reducing general difficulties and internalizing problems for children with subclinical difficulties.

To ensure and maintain the level of safety at a metallurgical enterprise (as well as at any other hazardous production facility), it is advisable to select specialists with the appropriate professionally important qualities, prepare them for possible psychological stresses, teach them the correct methodology of performing work for avoiding possible injuries and accidents at the production site. Training and certification of managers are fixed in the relevant regulatory documents, but the professionally important qualities of the employee are not specified in any regulation documents. It is professionally important qualities that help an employee to cope with an emergency, correctly process the information received and quickly make the right decision, clearly follow the guidelines of the production instructions and rules. According to the statistics of incidents, many safety violations are committed by the employees not because of ignorance, but because of disregard for the written rules and regulations. Such incidents testify to the incomplete correspondence of the professionally important qualities of the employee to the chosen activity. The paper presents the results of a study of professional recruitment in the field of metallurgy, the main hazardous factors of production, statistical data on injuries and accidents at the metallurgical enterprises. By the method of expert assessments, the professionally important qualities required for the crane operator and operators of conveyor belts were revealed. Methodologies were selected that make it possible to determine the required professionally important qualities. In the course of the study a number of tests were conducted, which demonstrated that the respondents generally have satisfactory neuropsychic stability, as well as an adequate strategy for solving problems in stressful situations. This allowed to conclude that in a situation of increased psycho-emotional stress, a person will quickly and correctly assess the situation, then make the right decision or take an action that will not aggravate the situation.

In 2020, Covid-19 pandemic firstly hit many countries including Indonesia. Since then, the methods on disseminating the agricultural technology have evolved accordingly. This paper assessed nine series of virtual and on-site technical trainings (or the so-called Bimtek in this paper) carried out from February to November 2020 in nine sub-districts from five provinces. Zoom application was used to deliver the materials during virtual Bimtek. Whilst, on-site training applied such methods: meeting in the classroom and field visit to practice the technology. The participants were diverse, among others: farmers and millennial farmers, extension officers, lecturers, college students and community (551 in total). The nature of participants depended on the type of Bimtek. Results showed that both Bimtek had the range of value between 70-85% in term of materials to meet the needs, materials to be applied, motivation and technical assistance from resource person. However, the percentage of knowledge change in virtual was higher than that in on-site Bimtek. Initial assessment showed that participants had good knowledge in remembering the technology, even some had also applied the technology in their farming practice. Thus, both Bimtek could improve farmers’ knowledge, from which the intention to change the farming practice could be persuaded.
