Comparison of efficiency based on the qualitative decision-making method of autoclave and non-autoclave technologies for the manufacture of carbon-fiber aircraft structures such as aircraft wing planes B787, A350, MC-21, Cseries. The differences and advantages in the serial production of prepreg-autoclave and VARTM technological process.  The comparison was carried out on sufficient presentational basis of criteria of two levels using combinatorial and decomposition research method. Each variant of the process is characterized by evaluations according to selection criteria. Their scores are vector assessment of the criteria based on expert judgment and opinion of the decision maker. Noted that each option has own boundaries of compatibility and practical application.

Abstarct We present a general logical framework for reasoning about agents’ cognitive attitudes of both epistemic type and motivational type. We show that it allows us to express a variety of relevant concepts for qualitative decision theory including the concepts of knowledge, belief, strong belief, conditional belief, desire, conditional desire, strong desire, and preference. We also present two extensions of the logic, one by the notion of choice and the other by dynamic operators for belief change and desire change, and we apply the former to the analysis of single-stage games under incomplete information. We provide sound and complete axiomatizations for the basic logic and for its two extensions.

The purpose of the present research was to study the application of qualitative management techniques in administrative and academic decision making at higher secondary level in Punjab. The present study was a kind of exploratory and descriptive research. By using stratified random sampling technique, (197) principals of public higher secondary schools were selected as a sample. A self developed questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed by performing independent sample t-test. The findings of the study showed that there was no significant difference between over all male and female Principals extent of the use of qualitative decision making techniques in planning, directing and as well as in administrative and academic decision making process. However, there found to be difference between over all male and female Principals extent of the use of qualitative decision making techniques in organizing process. Training may be launched to improve the use of decision making techniques.

In order to facilitate the development of product image design, the research proposes the optimized product image design integrated decision system based on Kansei Engineering experiment. The system consists of two sub-models, namely product image design qualitative decision model and quantitative decision model. Firstly, using the product image design qualitative decision model, the influential design elements for the product image are identified based on Quantification Theory Type I. Secondly, the quantitative decision model is utilized to predict the product total image. Grey Relation Analysis (GRA)–Fuzzy logic sub-models of influential design elements are built up separately. After that, utility optimization model is applied to obtain the multi-objective product image. Finally, the product image design integrated decision system is completed to optimize the product image design in the process of product design. A case study of train seat design is given to demonstrate the analysis results. The train seat image design integrated decision system is constructed to determine the product image. This shows the proposed system is effective and for predicting and evaluating the product image. The results provide meaningful improvement for product image design decision.

There are potentially many thousands of municipally derived contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) present in discharged wastewaters that may cause adverse effects in receiving aquatic environments. Wastewater authorities, therefore, may face the momentous task of investigating these compounds with little or no prior CEC data for their sewage treatment plants (STPs). Such is the case for the Cleveland Bay Sewage Treatment Plant (CBSTP). To evaluate the potential environmental risk posed by municipal CECs, it is first necessary to understand which CECs are present in discharging wastewater, how they will be sampled and quantified, and which CECs are the most concerning regarding ecological risk. A Sampling Analysis and Quality Plan (SAQP) is a valuable tool that can be used to critically review and detail the strategy that will be adopted to achieve these outcomes. As such, this paper describes the development of a SAQP for screening wastewaters released from the CBSTP into Cleveland Bay as part of a preliminary CEC assessment. This paper describes the qualitative decision-making process employed to shortlist CECs into those perceived to pose the greatest ecological risk. In addition, the rationale and methods adopted to determine sampling locations and frequency are described.

Trucks are attached to many industries in different sectors like an industrial equipment. For this reason, select a truck without consider the best attributes for the company could cause futures problems. Therefore, this article presents a systematic review of studies that approach quantitative and qualitative decision-making support methods and attributes that help on collecting of precision data. Thus, a framework was created to describe the factors and characteristics of studies, like the application types, hybrid models, sources and data validation. As result, 11 articles were selected from 893, published in English. And from the accepted articles valuation, multicriteria methods and a quality tool were found both applicated in decision-making support. Also, all the criteria, sub-criteria and attributes applicated by all the 11 authors in the methods were presented in this article and they were classified in 12 factors to simplify them.
