The article considers the issue of the system of the running gear of a high-speed electric train with a body inclination and the system of oscillation recovery. The authors considered the main suspension systems of the electric train body, which are currently used. The main problems of these suspension systems were put forward. Attention is paid to the use of air-spring suspension. The pipe suspension of the VL80 electric locomotive and the construction of the trolley itself are considered. The basic criteria of an estimation of efficiency of perspective electromechanical shock-absorbers on which the comparative characteristic is carried out are defined. The article describes a promising electromechanical shock absorber based on a synchronous linear motor, which can provide both body tilt and damping and recovery of oscillations. The functional scheme of control of two synchronous linear motors which are established on one cart is considered. The operation of the control system of synchronous linear motors is described. The design of a linear DC motor with permanent magnets is described. The functional control scheme of two linear DC motors with permanent magnets is considered. The design of the electromechanical shock-absorber of the Bose company is resulted. The comparative characteristic of three perspective electromechanical shock-absorbers on six criteria is carried out. Conclusions are made and an electromechanical shock absorber is selected, which provides the basic needs of rolling stock.

Objective: Increasing reliability of mechanical gearboxes using a magnetic sensor, which will sig nifi cantly increase the reliability of transport mechanisms and systems in general. Methods: An analysis of incidents covered in the media was carried out. Results: Conclusions are drawn about the consequences of failure of mechanical gearboxes. To prevent emergency situations caused by a breakdown of a mechanical gearbox, it is proposed to use a magnetic sensor, which allows carrying out analysis and diagnostics of the gearbox and its components during operation. A mathematical model of a magnetic sensor is compiled and a block diagram of a device for processing the output signal of the sensor modulator is presented. Practical importance: Failure of a mechanical gearbox is a common problem that leads to a stop of transport mechanisms and systems. Detection of a mechanical gearbox malfunction can signifi cantly reduce the cost of repairs, as well as prevent unexpected damage to the mechanism, which can lead to a complete stop of the transport system. The use of a magnetic sensor in the traction gearbox of an electric train will reduce the likelihood of a traction gearbox breakdown during operation and reduce the cost of repairs, increase the reliability of the traction drive, and also simplify the commissioning of new electric trains and traction gearboxes.

Tracking the optimal speed profile in electric train operation has been proposed as a potential solution for reducing energy consumption in electric train operation, at no cost to improve infrastructure of existing Metro lines as well. However, the optimal speed profile needs to meet fixed running time. Therefore, this paper focuses on a new method for determining the fixed running time complied with the scheduled timetable when trains track the optimal speed profile. The novel method to ensure the fixed running time is the numerical-analytical one. Calculating accelerating time ta, coasting time tc, braking time tb via values of holding speed vh, braking speed vb of optimal speed profile with the constraint condition: the running time equal to the demand time. The other hands, vh and vb are determined by solving nonlinear equations with constraint conditions. Additionally, changing running time suit for each operation stage of metro lines or lines starting to conduct schedules by the numerical-analytical method is quite easy. Simulation results obtained for two scenarios with data collected from electrified trains of Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line, Vietnam show that running time complied with scheduled timetables, energy saving by tracking optimal speed profile for the entire route is up to 8.7%, if the running time is one second longer than original time, energy saving is about 11.96%.

Objective: The use of pulse conversion of electricity on direct-current traction rolling stock is discussed. Methods: A variant of the system for regulating the operating modes of traction motors of suburban electric trains using a pulse converter based on insulated gate bipolar transistors is described. (IGBT). Results: The proposed impulse control system is presented as a possible option for the modernization of the applied control systems, which makes it possible to improve the traction and energy indicators of suburban electric trains. The advantages of pulse converters based on IGBTs are shown in comparison with converters based on one- and two-operation thyristors. A simplifi ed electrical diagram of the power circuit of a motor car with a pulse converter is presented, a description of the operation of the power circuit in the traction mode and in the modes of rheostatic and regenerative braking is given. Practical importance: The presented results of the technical and economic comparison of the control systems of the ED4M electric train with a Современные технологии – транспорту 505 ISSN 1815-588Х. Известия ПГУПС 2021/4 contactor-rheostat control system and an electric train with regulation of the operating modes of traction electric motors by a pulse converter based on IGBT prove the best energy effi ciency of an electric train equipped with a pulse control system

Abstract. Electric train driver work requires visual, auditory, tactile systems functioning high level, as well as mentality. These requirements caused the study directed to analyze the professional performance effectiveness these indicators, psychophysiological parameters including, for training and retraining in train driver (assistant train driver) profession. The research was carried out in the base of the training centers of professional qualifications of JSC «Russian Railways», 106 people were examined (age 27.2± 5.4 years) who were trained to perform all operations under work as train driver: first theoretically, then practically by special simulators use. There were evaluated: cardiovascular system state, complex visual-motor reaction time, «Landolt Ring» correction test as well as psychological methods of personal properties testing: reflection, self-regulation of behavior; the method of differentiated assessment of working capacity reduced. The dependence of working capacity of factor’s complex are determined. There are: organism’s functional state, psycho-emotional strain, adaptation mechanisms, motivational involvement, and target aspiration. Based on obtained data a set of promising methods has been determined to identify the possibility of reliable of driver operation and adjustment of his activities aimed at improving self-regulation skills as one of the main criteria for reliability of work.
