The effect of direct application of artificial dsRNA molecules derived from the viral coat protein gene and the possibility of RNA interference induction leading to protection against Pea seed borne mosaic virus (PSbMV) have been investigated. Effectivity of virus transmission was not afected by the dsRNA treatment. Simultaneous application of dsRNA and virus inoculation as well as dsRNA application one day before PSbMV inoculation led to a significant short-term decrease in the PSbMV concentration in experimental pea plants. Either the curative effect of the artificial dsRNA biolistic application was not noticed.

The study attempted to explore that the synergistic effect of acupoints combination is not a simple superposition of single acupoint’s effect by comparing and analyzing the changes of blood pressure (BP), SF-36, and brain regions after acupuncture treatment. 47 patients were randomly divided into LR3+KI3 group, LR3 group, and KI3 group. Subjects received Rs-fMRI scan, BP measurement, and SF-36 questionnaires before and after treatment and short-term acupuncture treatment. After treatment, there were no significant differences in BP and SF-36 among 3 groups, compared to the case before treatment, SBP of 3 groups decreased, and DBP significantly decreased while vitality and mental health significantly increased in LR3+KI3 group. Both number and scopes of changes of brain regions in LR3+KI3 group were the largest, which mainly included BAs 3, 4, 8, 19, 21, 24, 32, 44, and 45. In conclusion, acupuncture at LR3+KI3 may auxiliarily reduce BP and improve the vitality and mental health of patients, and the changes of brain regions were related to somatesthesia, movement, vision, audition, emotion and mood, language, memory, etc. BAs 4, 9, 10, 24, 31, 32, and 46 may be the targeting brain areas of acupuncture in assisting hypotension. It is suggested that acupoints combination of LR3+KI3 maybe generates a synergistic effect, and it is not simple sum of single acupoint effect.

Thyroid cancer is a relatively common endocrine gland malignant tumor; if improper treatment, there will be a high risk of recurrence or metastasis, and abnormal sugar chain glycoprotein (TAP) has a close relationship with the development of the disease; therefore, the purpose of this article is to discuss abnormal sugar chain glycoprotein (TAP) as thyroid cancer curative effect evaluation and radiation and chemotherapy after surgery clinical significance. In this paper, 95 patients with thyroid cancer diagnosed in a hospital were selected as the study objects and treated as the observation group. The clinical and follow-up data of the observation group were retrospectively analyzed. Meanwhile, 55 healthy patients were randomly selected as the control group. TAP, squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC) level, and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) level were detected in peripheral blood of 95 patients with thyroid cancer before and after treatment. The short-term efficacy was evaluated by chest CT examination, and the changes of the three markers before and after treatment and the correlation with the short-term efficacy of the patients were compared. According to the results of testing, the TAP positive expression in patients before radiotherapy can better predict the recent curative effect has certain clinical value; before radiotherapy TAP positive expression rate was significantly higher than that of healthy people, TAP positive expression quantity decreased obviously after radiation treatment, and patients with a recent radiotherapy curative effect is good or bad and negatively correlated with the degree of TAP protein positive expression; TAP high protein in patients with recent poor radiation effects, prompt the factor can be predicted in the near future curative effect of the molecular markers, and can TAP level for clinicians provide certain reference for targeted therapy.

Objective. Many intracranial aneurysms often have branch arteries, and it is especially important to protect them during embolization. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the curative effect and safety of the “stilted building” technique. Methods. 25 patients with intracranial aneurysms with branch arteries that have been treated by coil embolization with the “stilted building” technique were retrospectively reviewed. Clinical follow-up was performed after endovascular treatment. Results. All 25 patients successfully underwent aneurysm embolization. During the operation, the ruptured sac and most of the body of the aneurysm were embolized using the “stilted building” technique. Immediate imaging showed that the blood flow to the branch arteries from the neck or sidewall of the aneurysm was unobstructed. The mRS scores of the 25 patients during the follow-up period were mRS 0 for twenty-one patients, mRS 1 for three patients, and mRS 6 for one patient. No aneurysms recurred among the patients who completed the follow-up. Conclusions. In an aneurysm with a branch artery, when a balloon or stent cannot be effectively used to protect the branch artery, the use of “stilted building” embolization can achieve good therapeutic effects, and the short-term follow-up results are satisfactory; the technique can effectively protect branch arteries originating from aneurysms.
