<p>With the development of the economy, the art design industry in China is booming, and art design education has been paid attention to by various universities. After absorbing western modern design ideas, China's art design education develops rapidly. The personal design style of designers is largely influenced by national culture, which carries the history and spirit of the nation and has a profound influence and reference significance on modern art design<sup>[1]</sup>.This paper discusses the necessity of inheriting local culture for art design education in colleges and universities, and explores the ways and means of combining art design education with inheriting local excellent culture.</p>

The blended teaching has not been well implemented in art design major courses of colleges. Neither has the performance of this teaching mode in course teaching been correctly evaluated. To solve the problem, this paper attempts to design suitable blended teaching strategies for art design major courses in colleges. To this end, a theoretical analysis was carried out on how blended teaching promotes the effects of modern art design education and course teaching. On this basis, several strategies were presented to implement blended teaching in art design major courses of colleges. From the perspec-tive of engineering application, the authors established an evaluation index system and an evaluation analysis model for the performance of blended teaching in art design major courses, and thereby managed to quantify the teaching performance. The research results provide a theoretical basis and a practical solution for the implementation of blended teaching in art design major courses.

AbstractCreativity is very important for designers, and methods to stimulate designers' creativity are the long-term focus of art design education. The senses are an important channel for designers to receive information and define core issues. Stimulating the designer's senses can help enhance their perception and creativity, and is of great benefit for the quality and efficiency of the design outcome. Today's interactive media technology provides more possibilities and advantages for designers' perception and sensation. The purpose of this research is to explore a way to stimulate the designer's senses through the use of interactive media, thereby improving the designer's design thinking and creativity, and providing designers with innovative design support. By means of interactive ground projection and experiments, and discussion of the advantages of interactive media to stimulate designers' senses, this research proposes innovations in art design educational media, which is valuable for the training and learning of designers and the development of virtual education environment in the future.
