The study was undertaken to assess the financial viability of some Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Uttarakhand. Financial ratio analysis of FPOs were done on parameters such as liquidity, solvency, profitability and efficiency ratio and Financial Strength of the small organizations for the financial year 2017-18 to 2019-20 were analyzed. Financial ratio analysis depicted that liquidity position of producers’ organization was good and adequate to manage their expenses while, profitability and efficiency position were not adequate enough. Overall,it was estimated that Producers’ Organization are trying hard to make their presence in the market. FPOs require support not only at the individual FPO level but also at the promotion and ecosystem level.

ABSTRACT Keuangan daerah saat ini menjadi salah satu bentuk pertanggung jawaban dan wujud dari desentralisasi keuangan maupun kewenangan dari pusat ke daerah. Daerah yang mampu mengelola keuangannya secara efektif dan efiseien tentu diharapkan mampu merangsang perekonomian melalui penyerapan anggaran di sector-sektor produktif dan potensial yang dimiliki sehingga secara menyeluruh akan mampu meningkatkan kemandirian dan kemampuang keuangan daerah. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan analisis rasio efektifitas dan rasio efisiensi untuk melihat sejauh mana pemerintah kabupaten minahasa utara mengelola keuangan yang dimiliki dan mampu meningkatkan perekonomiannya. Penghitungan rasio yang dilakukan menghasilkan angka efisiensi rata-rata diatas 75 persen selama tahun penelitian (2009 - 2013), sementara untuk efektivitas kinerja mencapai angka rata-rata 90 persen per tahunnya. Kata kunci : Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD), Efektivitas, efisiensi.   ABSTRACT Analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness as well as the independence of financial management in the North Minahasa district. The financial area is currently one of the forms of accountability and financial and form of decentralization of authority from the center to the regions. Areas that are able to manage its finances effectively and efiseien certainly expected to stimulate the economy through absorption in the productive sectors and the potential possessed so thoroughly will be able to increase the independence and financial kemampuang area. This study used a ratio analysis of the effectiveness and the efficiency ratio to see how far north Minahasa district government-owned financial management and improve its economy. Calculations performed ratios produce an average efficiency rate above 75 percent during the study year (2009 -2013), while for the effectiveness of the performance reached an average of 90 percent per year.   Keywords: Local Revenue, effectiveness, efficiency

NBFIs play an important role in economic development through ensuring proper mobilization of funds in Bangladesh. This study represents a comparison of nine NBFIs operating their business in Bangladesh within the period from 2016 to 2019 through using financial ratios and other measures. To analyze the financial performance this study has used ratio analysis, such as ROA, ROE, ROCE, Institutional size/ Total assets and total equity etc. The outcome of this study says that for generating return the NBFIs performance based on efficiency ratio is different from the performance based on liquidity ratio, capital ratio and other financial measures. This study suggests to NBFIs to be more conscious about loan selection and establish a brand image through providing more efficient services. It also suggests the NBFIs to finds more income generating areas to be more competitive. In the coming years NBFIs will have more prospects that will ensure the economic development of our country.

The financial statements serve as a benchmark in assessing the financial performance of the company as the basis for making business decisions. The motivation in conducting this research is to support previous research to see the development condition of one of the oil palm plantation companies. The purpose of this study is to assess the financial performance by using financial ratio analysis and horizontal analysis. The method used in this research is Quantitative Descriptive with analysis design using Term series Analysis. The result of the research based on financial ratio analysis shows the liquidity ratio and solvency ratio in good condition, while the activity ratio and profitability ratio are not good because it is below the industry average of similar companies. Based on horizontal analysis, financial performance fluctuated and influenced internal and external factors such as operational performance and the average price of world palm oil. The limitations of this study are using only two analytical tools and financial statements analyzed only the balance sheet and income statement.

The empty fruit bunches (EFB) are by-product of crude palm oil (CPO) production, and it is not widely used optimally. One of products produced from EFB with development potentials is straw mushroom. The objective of this research was to analyze the potentials of EFB material and straw mushroom based on EFB material in Lampung province. The result showed that the EFB potential in Lampung province was 111,144 ton annually and straw mushroom was 4,835 ton annually. The biology efficiency ratio of EFB into straw mushroom in production scale was averagely 3.93%. Districts having potentials for developing straw mushroom business by using EFB material were Mesuji, Middle Lampung, Tulang Bawang, Way Kanan, and North Lampung.
