Penerapan sistem informasi pada suatu bisnis secara umum dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing (competitive advantage) dengan cara memberikan nilai tambah pada produk dan jasa yang dihasilkannya. Penerapan sistem informasi memerlukan input berupa data dan yang kemudian akan diproses menjadi informasi. Informasi ini nantinya diperlukan perusahaan untuk membantu operasionalnya dan juga dalam pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran secara menyeluruh mengenai pengaruh Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Penjualan Dan Penerimaan Kas Terhadap Pengendalian Intern. Penulis dalam melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan penelitian asosiatif, dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian asosiatif karena pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini bersifat menanyakan hubungan antara dua variabel dengan prosedur pengumpulan data penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai penelitian. Dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi atau lapangan. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan penulis, maka didapat hasil antara lain: hasil perhitungan antara variabel independent yaitu Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Penjualan dan Penerimaan Kas serta variabel dependent yaitu Pengendalian Inten. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis didalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi akuntansi penjualan dan penerimaan kas berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap pengendalian intern.

In today's competitive business environment, information systems are not a luxury; rather they are vital for survival. A new generation of ISs has been established on cloud capabilities. Moving toward software as a service is not the goal in a business, and if not implemented properly, competitive advantage may even suffer. Managers and change agents should undertake deep study over SaaS implementation before migration. In this chapter, the main elements and features in which CEOs and IT managers should consider in evaluating the SaaS migration option will be provided, and enterprises may be acquainted with the concept, goals, and theoretical foundations of SaaS as a main cloud-based service in the business environment. On the other hand, businesses should undertake some necessary changes in the operating circumstances which are utilization of a proper and modified business models established over a knowledge base strategic movement. This will lead enterprises to achieve the main goals of migrating to SaaS and cloud platforms (i.e., agility, competitive advantage, and innovation).

Information and knowledge management technologies and globalization have changed how firms in service industries formulate, implement and sustain competitive advantage. This research project contributes to our understanding of the relationships between Global Knowledge Management Technology Strategies and Competitive Functionality from Global IT. Based on field research this study found that Global Knowledge Management Technology strategies have a positive impact on Competitive Advantage from Information Technology Applications Functionality from Global IT. This study provides recommendations to International Engineering, Procurement and Construction Industry executives regarding the impact of knowledge management strategies and global information technology on competitive advantage of firms in their industry.

Rapid economic development causes increasingly fierce business competition. Moreover, the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, companies are competing to use technology to increase competitive advantage and efficiency in the company. One of the most popular information technology investments today is the Application of Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP), systems that do business using a single database that can be accessed by all divisions within the company. The purpose of this research is to study and discuss the application of Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP) conducted at PT. Haier Sales Indonesia. This study uses qualitative methods through in-depth interviews with IT Managers and Logistics Managers and warehouse administration staff using Pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams. The results of the evaluation of the application of Application Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP) in Inventory Logistics that occurred at PT. Haier Sales Indonesia is getting better, all data from every activity has been documented and integrated into the system much faster than the manual process that has been done before and can produce accurate reports. Suggestions are given in order to continue training in SAP Systems and Applications for users in developing SAP Systems and Applications.

The objective of this study was to develop a method based on the “competitive advantage” concept for the internal analysis of organizations in the context of competition. A qualitative and exploratory research was carried out. From a theoretical literature review on this subject, a preliminary internal analysis methodology was developed, which was then improved with the information collected from the field research. The field research consisted of six case studies conducted in companies working in the area of agrochemical industry in Brazil. Hence, this study proposes a way to operationalize the concept of resources (a theoretical gap observed by some authors). In managerial terms, this study contributes providing administrators with a method of analysis that deals with decisions regarding the management of resources of an organization.

New technologies are increasingly appearing to assist people in all areas. In the footwear industry it would not be different, where the industry 4.0 or fourth industrial revolution characterizes the current moment. This research examined how the managers of some sandal factories in the Cariri Region are realizing the changes and technological advances of industry 4.0 as a source of competitive advantage. A field research of a basic nature, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, where interviews were applied with the managers of sandal factories in the Region of Cariri, chosen for convenience and judgment of the researcher. The study is relevant due to the existence of great changes that have been taking place within the companies along with new technologies that are emerging, but it is not known how managers receive these changes and use them to benefit the company and in the search for a differential for competitive advantage in the market. At the end of the research it was possible to conclude that from the reality of each manager and company the way they receive and use the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution changes, and the lack of knowledge, structure, and money in the smaller companies makes the potential use competitive advantage is not so much taken advantage of.

The research objective was to determine the effect of market orientation and innovation on competitive advantage. This research is field research on bag artisans in Bojong Rangkas Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency. The population of the study was 150 bag craftsmen using the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 60 respondents. Distribution of questionnaires using an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis carried out; (1) test the research instruments in the form of validity and reliability tests; (2) classic assumption tests in the form of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. After the data fulfills all the classical assumptions, then multiple linear regression analysis, determination test, t-test, and F test are carried out. The research findings show that market orientation and innovation have a positive effect on competitive advantage in the bag craftsmen of Bojong Rangkas village, Ciampea district. The managerial implication of the research results is to increase the competitive advantage of the Bojong Rangkas bag artisans; attention to market orientation and innovation are important things that must be done. As for how to improve market orientation and innovation, the bag craftsmen must be oriented towards consumer desire and satisfaction.

This study discusses how the implementation of Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship-based madrasa management in achieving the success of madrasa management in Langkat. The form of madrasa management based on Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship management which is analyzed through the form of the process of implementing education, funding, marketing / promotion, human resource management and the environment which is carried out based on the concept of Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship (honesty, gratitude, Islamic values, blessings of Allah SWT and the concept of worship. to Allah SWT). The location of this research was conducted at 60 madrasa in Langkat by taking sambel 300 respondents consisting of leaders, teachers, education staff and management. The research is field research using naturalistic qualitative techniques. The data were collected using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data were analyzed and verified and then concluded that it was inductive. The results of the study prove that 1) madrasas in Langkat have not maximally implemented Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship on school management because there is no strong commitment to all management to apply the concept 2) Not all Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship management criteria are applied in the management of madrasa which are religious-based schools of Islam 3) Collaboration is needed from TOP Management to students in applying the concept of Islamic Spiritual Entrepreneurship in school management so as to achieve competitive advantage and management sustainability until the future.

The purposes of this study are to determine the direct and indirect effects of market and entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage through dynamic capabilities and to prove the role of dynamic capabilities as an intervening variable. This research is a field research study on creative industries in Malang, Indonesia. A sample of 100 respondents was selected by accidental sampling technique. Data was obtained through questionnaire survey and processed with Partial Least Square analysis. The results showed that market and entrepreneurial orientation had a positive and significant direct effect on competitive advantage, it also had a indirectly effect through dynamic capabilities, and dynamic capabilities consisting is not able enough to mediate market and entrepreneurial orientation on the competitive advantage. An integration of market and entrepreneurial orientation to create high dynamic capabilities and strong competitive advantage is a must for creative industries. To become a strong industry that has high dynamic capabilities to compete, the creative industries should increase information acquisition so that products are more in line with customer expectations.
