This article aims to determine the influence of online learning with virtual labs on the learning interest of students ' physics and to know the influence of online learning with virtual labs on cognitive learning outcomes of student physics. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the experimental design of one group Pretests posttest. This research sample is a student of class X MIPA 1 which amounted 33 people determined with simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study are cognitive learning results test and Angket learning interest learners. Data analysis results can be concluded that there is a virtual lab-assisted online learning influence to the learning interest of learners with a value of sig (2-tailed) smaller than 0.05 (0.0063 < 0.05) and there is a virtual lab-assisted online learning influence to the outcome of the students ' cognitive learning with a sig (2-tailed) value smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05).

The paper presents a design strategy for e-learning hypermedia interfaces based on the notion of conceptual-navigational map. It proposes to analyze the cognitive and communication problems that arise in the use of hypermedia applications with specific goals, such as e-learning courseware modules, with the linguistic tools of pragmatics and discourse analysis, and shows how this can help in identifying specific communication problems related to the grounding and contextualization of new information, and how it can lead to new insights for design and to interfaces inspired by the linguistic means used in verbal communication to manage analogous problems. The implementation of such a design strategy in the SWISSLING courseware modules is discussed, and future directions of development towards context- aware adaptive hypermedia are briefly outlined.

Understanding the surface climatology of the Antarctic ice sheet is essential if we are to adequately predict its response to future climate change. This includes both primary impacts such as increased ice melting and secondary impacts such as ice shelf collapse events. Given its size, and inhospitable environment, weather stations on Antarctica are sparse. Thus, we rely on regional climate models to 1) develop our understanding of how the climate of Antarctica varies in both time and space and 2) provide data to use as context for remote sensing studies and forcing for dynamical process models. Given that there are a number of different regional climate models available that explicitly simulate Antarctic climate, understanding inter- and intra model variability is important.

Here, inter- and intra-model variability in Antarctic-wide regional climate model output is assessed for: snowfall; rainfall; snowmelt and near-surface air temperature within a cloud-based virtual lab framework. State-of-the-art regional climate model runs from the Antarctic-CORDEX project using the RACMO, MAR and MetUM models are used, together with the ERA5 and ERA-Interim reanalyses products. Multiple simulations using the same model and domain boundary but run at either different spatial resolutions or with different driving data are used. Traditional analysis techniques are exploited and the question of potential added value from more modern and involved methods such as the use of Gaussian Processes is investigated. The advantages of using a virtual lab in a cloud based environment for increasing transparency and reproducibility, are demonstrated, with a view to ultimately make the code and methods used widely available for other research groups.

With reference to the current situation of experimental teaching of Digital Electronics Course, the thesis puts forward the proposal of Digital Circuit network Virtual Lab System, describes the method of setting up network virtual lab with the application of LabVIEW virtual instrument. The system provides the accessibility to lab anywhere via network which improves the Laboratory equipment Utilization greatly and lowers the laboratory cost accordingly.
